Only found this place as I was waiting for some friends outside of the Folic clothes store, and noticed their menu. I went there today with co-workers and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a diverse menu - they have daily specials. Each day of the week has a specific dish, plus their menu has diverse salads, build your own plate, and pastas. I had the dish of the day(R$25.40), which were two burger patties, wedge potatoes seasoned with herbs and a Caesar salad. The salad greens were really fresh and seasoned well. The patties were flavorful and went well with the caramelized onions. You could order traditional French fries or the wedge potatoes. I opted for the wedge, but you only get three...which seemed like a small portion for the size of the dish. But it was a pretty filling dish. Another co-worker ordered a pasta dish - Penne with Funghi, which also well served and really creamy. Another colleague ordered their pesto salad. It was a big bowl of salad greens, carrots, beetroot, pasta in pesto sauce, tomatoes and chicken. The salad looked really fresh and bright and colorful. Everyone was happy with their dishes. As the name of the restaurant goes, we also had to order something sweet. We chose the Banana Boat - a banana cake with chocolate chips (served warm) with vanilla ice cream. Was really good! I am not a big banana cake person, but this was perfect. it wasnt overly sweet and was warm and light. A great end to a great lunch. This was a hidden gem and we will go back for sure! We were worried about space, but they have a ton of seating, and can easily get a table for 4 or 6 people. We will be returning to try other menu items and sweet desserts.

Anyway, took advantage and ordered samples of cookies and brownies. The coconut brownie was heaven in my mouth. The basic brownie was oh so good. Let the honey sample the cookies and he liked them. I think we got the macadamia Choco chip and oatmeal. He said it was good but kept getting sweeter with every bite. No worries, nothing a cafe con leiche (coffee with milk) can't fix and of course a bottle of water. The presentation is so pretty and the place itself was so colorful yet cozy. The display was set in such a way that it is not overwhelming but you want everything. The place is small but there is always people in and out. Eat your sweets, drink your coffee and off your merry way you go. Parking, can be difficult, which can be the norm in Copa. We walked here anyways, so we did not have that issue. The service is good. I just really adore this cute "tea" place. Like everything in Rio, this place has a place in my heart.

I was surprised about the chocolate eclairs because the eclairs was filled with a chocolate filling not the usual European or American type filling.it was good though. The cakes were a chocolate cake and the other one was a coconut Caramell type cake. I found the cake very delicious wonderful to the pallet but not as sweet as you find in the United States. For the six pieces of bakery goods I paid 90 reals....or about $20.00 US a bit pricey. The ladies were quite pleasant and helpful even though they could not speak any English.

Great place to stop by after eating at the other nearby restaurants. The coffee is good as well but quite small. The small/pequeno is equivalent to a demitasse cup (1 shot of espresso) whereas the grande is probably a 5oz cup. I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a coffee pick me up or European quality cakes.

This century-old café is full of history, and having coffee here with a breathtaking view of Ipanema Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain is simply unforgettable. The ocean breeze makes everything feel extra special, and the service was excellent from start to finish. After eating, it's the perfect spot to continue your day with a walk along Copacabana or a visit to the fort museum right next door. I came with my family and had the chance to try several dishes. The cappuccino was outstanding, with the perfect balance of sweetness and a warm touch of cinnamon. The American toast with jam was delicious, and we also tried the pistachio éclair, which was very good, although it tasted more like a creamy filling than a strong pistachio flavor. The pastel de nata was small but really tasty as well. My favorite, though, was the "Queijo do Forte," a breaded brie that was absolutely incredible. The Assado de Gorgonzola was also perfectly prepared, full of rich flavor, and the meat was cooked just right. As a final highlight, I loved being able to enjoy a truly fresh natural orange juice with lunch -- something I really miss when I'm abroad. A perfect mix of food, tradition, and one of the best views in Rio.

Also got the tiramisu fatta, it was good as well. They have a variety of baked goods that looked tasty, only been here once but seems that a lot of regulars come here.
