Shrimp in oil (6/10): The shrimp was a little too greasy and had a pretty strong herby aftertaste. Fried Shrimp (5/10): tasted kind of average, similar to frozen shrimp. Lamb (7/10): The lamb was very good. Nicely sauteed, and it came with bread too Calamari (10/10): divinely fried. It was so nicely browned on the outside and just bursting with flavor. Tomatoes (8/10): nice and juicy tomatoes. Very refreshing. Olive oil was delicious!! Wines were very good. Be aware that you order at the bar. If you're at a table, they won't come asking if you want more food/drinks. I don't think the wait staff speaks much English, but we knew enough Spanish to get by.

We tried almost everything in the menu, and loved everything but our favourite was the tender lamb that fell of the bone. Not to mention the owner, who made us feel so at home... and had a great music selection! We hope to be back!

We stopped by Churroway in Granada for a quick churro fix. We ordered the mini churros, but they…read morewere anything but mini--quite enormous, in fact. The presentation was appealing, but because of their size, they were soggy rather than crispy, and the flavor didn't taste much like traditional churros. We also tried the "Alambrito," which tasted good, though it was not especially impressive, even when dipped in chocolate. One highlight was watching our server prepare fresh churros, which was a nice experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, although there is no seating area, so everything is takeaway. Overall, Churroway is not worth trying but if you enjoy watching churros being made fresh, the. Try them. Our experience was mixed.

It was the perfect location to chill and people watch Our food was delivered in less than five minutes with churros piping hot like they were just removed from the fryer. Each piece was lighter than expected with an airier dough than others we've eaten but also not dipped in sugar. Of course we dunked them in the hot chocolate which was smooth and satisfying. Service was perfunctory and we closed our tab at the table.

The nachos con carne had a home-made feel, much better than the standardized stuff we usually see in the US. Three adults found their hamburgers tasty and the sizes good, and my rack of ribs was falling-off-the-bone tender. The fries that came with the main dishes were non-standardized slices and tasted good as well. One modest criticism -- the hamburgers came out medium rare and that was too little cooking for Nafisa -- the servers should ask diners how rare or how well-done they want

Terrible food, what else is left to say? I ordered sashimi and the lamb chops medium rare (as they…read moreshould always be had)... The lamb chops came well done with French fries from a bag. The sashimi was pretty bad as well. My wife ordered lentil soup (which was returned), octopus carpaccio, and a fish fish. The fish was tasteless, the lentil soup was inedible and the carpaccio tasted fishy. None of these items were tasty nor deserving of being served in a restaurant of this category. The service was mediocre. We had also spaghetti and jamon serrano for lunch. That should've been a clue to us to go elsewhere for lunch. My first recommendation to this establishment would be to hire a new chef. Please see my other review regarding hotel.
