Unfortunately, after dealing with them for less than three months, I can honestly say that I regret doing business with them. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and did not know how to speak to customers respectfully. I understand that they are running a business, but people should be treated the way you would want to be treated. There was absolutely no compassion or understanding shown during my interactions. If I didn't need my car, I would have returned it in a heartbeat and accepted the loss just to avoid dealing with this company any longer. Would I recommend Car Way Auto? Absolutely not. So many problems with this place I don't know where to begin. They will defiantly sell you a broken car or a car with multiple issues and would not fix it for you no matter how much money you've spent with them. Quick to take your money but when you ask them to do something they will run in circles. And if you're waiting for a call back for a problem you will never get it. Customer service is HORRENDOUS. THEE WORST. Also they do not service their vehicles at all before selling them, unless it has an obvious problem they don't bother to fix it. Also if its something you wouldn't catch right away they would not fix it. They do not have a Machanic on site. They make their vehicles look pretty to get them off the lot. Then I gave you my car for almost an entire week to fix the shaking. which at first you didn't want to pay for. Then y'all told me you can only can pay for one problem. So we agreed that y'all would pay for the shaking to be fixed. Later to find out that the problem remains the same. It was not fixed. Also I had to get the key fixed with no help from y'all. I bought a 2013 BMW 328i from these guys. Beautiful car. But I looked at it and it looked as if it did have a little "lean" into the front. Gil said, "oh no it's not. It's just you". Long story short, after 5 days, the car would not open and found out it was the key had malfunctioned. So they took my BMW to Broward BIMMERS and I get the car back 1 week and 1/2 later. That lean was even more apparent and they never fixed the tires. I took this car to Vista BMW as they know their cars & was told it was around $5000 dollars worth of damage as the entire suspension system needed replacing. Camber, struts, brakes, tires, & etc. For this entire time and I have proof, I asked them to just switch the car as it can be done as I done it before with another car lot. They didn't want to help. They were just looking for money. One place I took the car too and I told them it was at Broward BIMMERS, and the service advisor told me, "don't take your car to them again if you can help it or take it back and get another car" . They got upset with me because I had to go elsewhere and get another decent used vehicle. Gave them $5000 to find out my car having all these lights turn on 3 months after also they told me they had a mechanic look at if before they sold it to me so I didn't bother to get it checked. Had my dad take it to a mechanic of his own ... which my dad spent 1000 for the car not to turn on and find out the car was leaking oil for months and the engine was basically done for. read more

We came back and they remembered us and gave us a good deal and even cleaned up some cosmetic things. If we came back to another place that we went to today I doubt they would remember us. Please be careful when purchasing from Carway. I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus IS 250 from Cliff and his wife. When I test drove the car there was a engine service light on the car. Cliff said they had just washed the engine and that it was a cylinder miss fire. He had his mechanic cleared the code. I bought the car and took it to get serviced since it's used. When the covering was removed to do the service, the car engine was never washed as was told to me. They had sprayed a sheen on the plastic cove. The car was never serviced as they stated. I swapped out all the strut, front and rear rotors and brake, all new tires, control arm, oil and filters changes. A week later the engine light returned, I took it to three different shops and they all said it was a transmission issue and not a cylinder misfire. Cliff said he way pay part of the cost and sent me to two different transmission shop. In the end they refused to pay and said purchase as is and that I sign the contract to buy as is and that I can't sue them. I purchase the car because they said it was cylinder misfire. We purchased a car in Jan 2022, and in March 2022 we paid the car off. Moving forward 2 years Jan 2024, we went on Friday Feb 9 to a company to sell our PAID OFF car only to be told that there is a LIEN on the car??? We went to CARWAY where the car was purchased with our documents asking why the LIEN? they said that the person who handled the pay out did not release the LIEN 2 yrs ago???? We call this morning (2/12/24) and spoke to a gentleman who put the call on hold, a lady (Janet) picked up the call and asked to give her a call back at noon she was going to call the DMV. Well here we are 12:34 Monday and still the LIEN is on this car, what's most upsetting and frustrating is that on the form they gave us it states that the LIEN was satisfied Feb 9th 2024??? Meanwhile the car was paid off 2 years prior in 2022. Janet said that it's not her fault that the person who took the payoff didn't release the LIEN in 2022 when the car was paid off. Soooo who's fault is it, because it's sure as HELL NOT ours!!!! She had a very nasty attitude, cursing and rising her voice. I guess the guilt of there error got the best if her so unprofessional. After multiple calls, some unanswered, the LIEN was finally release. But it appears that the company who had the LIEN was out of business since 2008??? Something is very odd with this Company !!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL THAT THE COMPANY DIDN'T FINALLY EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CALL US & INFORM US THAT THE LIEN WAS REMOVED. We check at 4am on 2/13 and noticed that it was REMOVED. They take every chance to make extra money off of you and change the price once you have agreed on the deal and then told me work was done on the vehicle to raise the price that was actually never done, then While I was even trying to buy a car someone else came in with a similar complaint which was my first sign but I really just needed a vehicle and didn't have a lot of time to shop around. This place is an absolute fraud from start to finish and their customer service sucks!! Bought a car that was supposed to have all these repairs done before I bought it for me to have to then pay for all the exact repairs 1 week after I bought the car and then I was told tags were $200, then they went up to $400 and told just bc they can charge that amount... Now after having spent $3,000 in repairs and counting after missing a payment due to fraud on my card they take electronic payments off of and I tell them the new card was coming, but was delayed bc of the holidays... Was called and texted at my full time job and threatened for a payment a few days late and I told them I would Zelle once I was off this evening and even better set up with the new card, but instead these idiots threatened to repo my car if I don't stop what I was doing and Zelle a stupid $400 payment with this lady threatening to repo my car with proof of fraud on my card and proof that I just now have a working card in possession delivered to my home today!! Purchased a 2008 Chrysler town and country with "relatively decent" mileage for its age on 7/1/19. Paperwork and buying process is simple, straightforward and quick. Staff are friendly... until you complain. I have now been In possession of the vehicle for 65 days. 7-20-19: 287 miles off the lot: Brakes started grinding- brakes replaced Drivers window fell into the door and I replaced the regulator in my driveway. All the touch up paint they used flew off the car at the car wash. More paint chips than I can count. the brake calipers were spray painted silver to look new. If you need a car, and you go here- be prepared to spend a grand or two fixing things they should have before Sticking a for sale sign on it. Edit: 7/20/19: After completing the brake job, I decided to take a ride down to Carway to tell them how disappointed I was with the condition the vehicle was in. I was met with silence from some old guy, bewilderment from the young man who sold me the vehicle and a very defensive lady(I assume she is the co-owner with the silent old guy) who tried to marginalize my complaints and dismiss my claims of them polishing an obvious turd. I explained that I'm not concerned with the general maintenance items but truly appalled with the condition of the brakes and the silver spray paint job they applied to cover up shear negligence. She (old angry lady) told me "they don't fix any car, they just sell them" As I left after my rant of disappointment, the female owner decided to follow me outside and scream at me: "if you miss/late one payment I'm taking your car with it's new parts. I'll be updating this review as time goes on. 8-22-19 Auxiliary heater core hoses blew out, replaced with new hoses. 4 gallons of dexcool needed. Needed to use electronics cleaner to remove coolant from the transmission control module connections. 8-28-19 New tires, new shocks and coil overs, new hoses, new radiator, new thermostat, 4 wheel alignment. Brake system flush, power steering flush. On 8-29-19 my family and I decided to evacuate ahead of Hurricane Dorian, and took a trip to New York to see family. 9-3-19: Started smelling a oil burning smell in the car on the highway, van started leaking oil from the pan gasket and the crankshaft oil seal dampener. Replaced pan, gasket, and crank oil seal. 9-5-19 New Crankcase oil seal dampener failed, towed to the shop that replaced the COSD, the crankshaft is worn with a groove and needs reconditioning to stop the leak. This vehicle is now the bane of my existence, and is becoming a very large money pit. The reported mileage as of 9-5-19 is 125,307 Vehicle was purchased with 122,385. $3,400 in repairs in 65 days and just over 3,000 miles driven off the lot. The mileage of this vehicle and the state of disrepair to this van do not add up. Steer clear of this place. I know, BHPH... Chrysler... over 100k... but wow. Their "service center" is non existent and is a bay attached to their store. They clean it up real nice, and that's it. They don't inspect or service anything than selling you a polished poo. read more

The car was the EXACT spec that I wanted (literally couldn't find elsewhere), so that's why I gave them the business. I'm saddened to see so many bad reviews (check Facebook too) and I really regret giving them my business. This place should not be supported. DO NOT SHOP HERE. BUYER BEWARE. He was prompt in answering my initial inquiry as to the car's availability and how their sales and finance process worked. The car was sooo clean, ready, and waiting for a test drive. He was transparent and informative. We were able to make a decision quickly and the whole process only took a little over an HOUR. When I took it back to the dearleship they said it was fine until i had to tow it to my house the next day. I Went over to them and the stated that Ive already signed for it and it was mine. So in other words im stuck with it. Let alone I had to fix the car and resell it. In which Ive lost time and money. Is not about making a sale, is about customer satisfaction. we bought a car that had a sensor issue that they promised to fix. We tried to work with them for a over a year and they never fixed it. they wouldn't compensate us so that we we could fix it and the car and several problems with it. The other BMW options had body damage. We tried to be reasonable but once you have the car they offer ZERO support. Once you're off their lot they will do nothing else- even if they said they would. Oh- and I am a real person who really bought a car from them. not a bot. I suggest that you carfax every cae from them and check for accidents and repairs because our car clearly has seatbelt sensor issues and transmission issues. we had to dump the car as a trade in just to get rid of it. we bought the car for our kid and we had to stop letting them drive it because the transmission was so bad. they sold us a lemon and did nothing about it. I know that this isn't a top notch dealer- but we were horribly disappointed that they didn't even fix what they promised that they would. read more

Upon meeting Cliff, his wife & staff I was very pleased. Cliff (the owner) struck me as a no BS type guy that is sincerely interested in the best for his customer. They have been in business for quite a long time at this location which tells me that he's doing things right. After more than a month of careful searching I choose to buy a car with this dealership. He struck me a very fair deal, everything was spelled out and happened just as it was explained. I don't think you can find a more honest guy to deal with. Premature post. A week after our purchase the car had o have major repairs Faulty Radiator and leaking Gas Pump.. We spoke with Cliff about the repairs that he said he had taken care of he refused to acknowledge when we discovered they were not. Now I understand why he didn't want me to take the car to a mechanic that he does not use. I waited to post his message as Cliff just returned my tag to me today. Even that was a hassle. They were trying to add extra charges onto our bill. People please listen!!! don't purchase here and if you do, for your benefit get your mechanic to check it out !!!!! Now I understand why he went above and beyond, because he was anxious to get rid of a car that wasn't worth what i paid for it. There are tons of other used car lots that will do the right thing. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Let me start off and say when they sell you a car they tell you the has been serviced, they show u a paper of what they have done to the car. In 3months my car battery die. I call and told them and the lady who answer the phone compare changing dirty underwear to a car battery! She very nasty and rude. She said I will pay 35$ to replace it She said it will be here in morning. The next day I call several times trying find out what taking so long, they get nasty or the phone. One even said, "what do you expect you brought a used car" they finally call me back an hour before closing,but by then I have brought a car battery myself because I need my car for work! One day my tire when out and my boyfriend went in to the truck to get the spare out and he cut his hand from the wires come out of the spare tire! I didn't contact them about this because they very unprofessional and rude the first go around. June 2018 will be my year mark with this car and IT IS NOT RUNNING!! I had TWO ASE certified mechanic look at it and they said the Timing belt pop and he willing to bet me that it never been changed!(As In The Car Was Made In 2005, And The ORIGINAL BELT Is Still In There) I got very upset with Carway and they told me they will contract me in the morning and give me a lower price to get the car fix. These are the worst people ever. They are the typical fake sales people who know how to play a game with their customers to get what they want, money. They pretend to care that you tell them you have children and need something safe... make so many promises to be there if anything happens to the car. The car i purchased died a week or two after i purchased it and had to be towed to a mechanic. I saved up for a long time to be able to purchase the car and then could not afford the $3000 in repairs on top of it.
