I hired Julio through Dominic and Cartoon Slinger for my company's picnic Saturday (4/16/16). Julio showed up a little early to set-up and warm up his drawing skills. From the moment he showed up people were asking if he was ready yet. He was very patient and friendly with the younger kids who couldn't wait to be drawn and very professional and warm with the adults of our group. Everyone loved him and his drawings were amazing! I couldn't decide if I wanted a photo booth or not, because they are totally played out now, so I hired Dominic at the very last minute. And it was one of my best wedding purchases. Dominic helped us celebrate our daughter's Bat Mitzvah by drawing wonderful caricatures of our guests. He is totally professional, easy to deal with and very talented. We met him 5 years ago when he was there working at my friend's first birthday event. We hung his drawing framed in our home. We contacted him for our daughter's first birthday. He's professional. Showed up on time even came and asked us if we wanted our drawing after his time was up and had another event to attend. I heard later from friends and family that there were two ppl in line close to the end of the event. He told them that he had time to only draw one more. While the they were debating who gets to get drawn Dominic said it was ok and that he would draw both guests in line...I will definitely recommend him as guests there were inquiring about him and would call him for future events we hold. I can not say enough about Dominic's drawing abilities! I hired him for my boyfriend's 30th birthday last February and he was the ABSOLUTE HIT of the party! Very affordable, accomodating, and friendly. I got SO many compliments from guests at the party that said a cartoon artist was the best idea ever. Each guest got to take home a keepsake and it was fun to see how each person was drawn. Dominic's portraits turned out looking exactly like the person he was drawing, which included many different faces, dogs, and babies. Def would hire and reccommend Dominic in the future :) read more

We hired Dominic for our twins 16th birthday party, it was a vintage circus theme and having him at the party was a hit. All the kids loved it and I wish I would have hired him for a longer window because the line never stopped. We had Heather as our Caricature Artist for my son's 2nd Birthday Party. She was amazing! Her drawings were amazing. She was on time and very nice. She drew for the two hours straight that we had hired her. She was personable and was able to have a conversation with you while she was drawing you. She is extremely talented. We had mostly adults at the party, but everyone that wanted a drawing was able to get one. She was even able to draw off a picture of my son, since he wouldn't sit still long enough for the drawing. I highly recommend Heather if you are looking for a Caricature Artist. Just to clarify Dominic will call another artist that he works with if he is not available. I understand that completely, he cannot be everywhere at once. But it seems that he works with a great bunch of artists. It seems that he only works with the best. I will definitely be having them again for all our future parties. And definitely recommending them to all my friends and family. read more
