In January, I dropped off a ring for repair at this location.. not just any ring, but one I purchased for my mother four years ago after she was given a terminal diagnosis. This is her final year, and this ring carries immeasurable sentimental value. I trusted Cartier with it. After dropping it off, I heard nothing. I called multiple times and was told my sales associate, Gabby, would follow up. She never did. When I finally reached her in May, I learned the ring had been returned to the Miami location, unrepaired, because a repair quote had allegedly been emailed to me and never paid. No call. No text. No follow-up of any kind for nearly five months. When I asked why no one reached out when the ring came back, Gabby told me that sales associates do not text or call clients when repairs are returned. I then asked her to verify the email address on my account. It was wrong, which is why I never received the quote. She corrected it over the phone as I spelled it out to her. I requested the repair fee be waived given the circumstances. That request was ignored, as were multiple follow-up calls, texts, and requests to speak with a manager. I ultimately had to come into the store in person to get answers. At this point, Gabby had consumed six of the twelve months my mother has left with that ring. Fortunately, Ricardo (a manager) stepped in, treated me with genuine care, and expedited the repair efficiently and professionally. I requested a new associate be assigned to my account and that I have no further contact with Gabby. This week, I received a professional and timely text from Kat (another SA) letting me know the ring was ready. Two days later, after I had already made arrangements to pick it up, I received a text from Gabby, who I was told would no longer be contacting me. Her message stated that she had spoken with her manager and that a discount would not be offered because "all the information was indeed correct" when the repair was taken in. This message contained multiple false statements: 1. She previously told me that sales associates do not contact clients when repairs are returned - yet she texted me, two days after another associate had already done so professionally. 2. Originally the repair was sent back unfinished due to not completing payment - if the ring came back completed that means A) the manager took care of it B) I paid the repair fee, so saying that she's not able to offer the discount and that she spoke to the manager is another lie. 3. She stated the email on file was correct at the time of intake. She corrected it herself, over the phone, as I dictated it to her. That is not a matter of interpretation. The most telling moment came after I responded: she edited her message to a single period "." Rather than acknowledge the inconsistencies or offer any accountability, she erased her words entirely. I have screenshots documenting the original message and the edit, as well as the contrast in professionalism between Gabby's communication and that of both Ricardo and Kat. Cartier's brand stands for excellence. This experience, defined by months of silence, misinformation, and a complete lack of accountability, fell devastatingly short of that standard. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful change, because no client should have to fight this hard, especially under circumstances this painful. I am giving 1 star because Ricardo and Kat were so incredible, if it weren't for them I'd give 0. read more

WHEW, hands down the worst Cartier I have ever come across, can't believe I actually stepped into this location a few times. The snotty girl who should be working the clearance section at Walmart instead of a Cartier answered the phone with the nastiest attitude. I was trying to see if they had a limited edition Panthère ring in stock as associates from the West Coast couldn't get ahold of anyone at this location for 72+ hours, absolutely unprofessional. I asked if they had the ring, the girl said that I needed to reach out to the Director of Operations, I said they've been trying to call you with the nastiest response of "we have a lot of foot traffic and this store is really busy so this is inconvenient for me!" Was she serious? She was dead serious, I checked her and said you need to work on your customer service, Cartier is known to be a pinnacle for customer service in fine jewelry and you're a step above a trailer park jeweler aka Kay or Jared. She then proceeded to argue with me, I checked her once again saying she wouldn't even cut it working for Target jewelry and that I want to speak to the Manager ASAP. One added star because he took the situation seriously and was very pleasant to interact with. He had the ring in his hand and was boxing everything up. A $50k+ ring mind you!! Becky with the bad attitude needs to be fired, McDonald's drive thru seems more her speed. Catching a nasty attitude with me like I don't live in both SF & Miami. My next trip to Miami which is coming up, I will go out of my way to have my love bracelets and my other jewelry polished here, I wish Karen would cop an attitude with me again. I'm actually going to make a few grandeur jewelry purchases in the next few months and this location blew it by their horrible customer service, I'll stick to Cartier on the West Coast & in France off Capucines or la Paix. read more

Had the most amazing experience at Cartier, design district! My husband made an appointment for a weekend afternoon. We were greeted promptly as our SA Ryan waited for us at the literal entrance. He greeted us with joy and offered us refreshments throughout the whole experience, because that's what he made it out to be! He assisted in helping me choose the most perfect time piece at my preferred price point, and I left one happy gal! The whole experience was comforting, elevated and most definitely not rushed. The entire staff was nice and welcoming, not once did I feel out of place or not well taken care of. I will definitely be coming back for more forever accessories. read more

I was in Miami for vacation and decided to stop in for my first Cartier piece. I didn't have an appointment, i had to wait to be assisted for a few minutes. Suen (susu) helped me, she was nice and answered all my questions. She did offer me something to drink and it was a quick transaction. I think she had other people waiting on her because I did feel a bit rushed. The only thing I was really disappointed about was that my item wasn't fully wrapped which isn't really that big of a deal but it kinda is since it was my first piece. Overall, I had a good experience and I would definitely stop by again for another piece. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wish I could leave zero stars. They are completely unresponsive and rude. Good luck trying to get them on the phone. I've been on hold for nearly an hour. Energetic and Super profesional Service Its always a pleasure to visit Cartier Miami that has a very good SA Suen. My husband brought me to the store and suprised me with a watch. I was going back and forth between Santos & Panther Gold. Suen was helpful and she enlightend my mind which watch that suits me instead of pushing or upselling. Throughout the years I think that I spent over 50k with Cartier perhaps more. It is crazy that supposedly a high end shop with such high tickets has such a horrible and unprofessional customer service. Scheduling a repair for a watch was almost impossible and when I finally was able to secure an appointment I had to wait a month. When you come to shop somehow they always have someone available to assist... No one ever contacted me after dropping my repair and after several weeks I contacted them to find out that my repair hasn't began since I didn't approve the repair cost. Well how exactly will I approve it if you failed to contact me and ask for my approval. Another two month go by and of course it is me who follow up with them to realize my watch is back and ready for pick up. I schedule an appointment through text message and when I arrive the receptionist tells me - well you are not in the system and unfortunately we are busy to accept you at this moment. Only when I argued and showed the text I have confirming my appointment they decided to accommodate me. Needless to say that the receptionist didn't think it would be nice to apologize for THEIR mistake. The service guy ask for my repair number and was displeased that I didn't bring it with me. Don't you think it would be smart to inform the client what is recommended to bring to simplify the pick up process. Such a bad business, I feel like I'm in burger king not in Cartier. read more

Wtf @cartier it seems like the service is horrible at your stores around the world. My girlfriend and I tried to take bracelet for service at Miami Design District, took us while to find parking, paid and got turned away, we were told that we had to make an appointment but can walk in any other day. After that we were in Los Angeles and tried to go to location on Rodeo drive and called to make an appointment, on the phone we were told to just come in, we were turned away at the door. After that we were back in Miami Design District and came in to be turned away again, so my girlfriend yelled at the person working there, there were 2 available service workers sitting at the desk chilling. The customer service isn't par with the reputation and standard of the brand name. The customer will become an enemy if he complains about the bad customer service at this location and ends up getting kicked out of the store. The staff is only train to make sales not to do a good customer service and attend any issues or complaints. I was treated very poorly by the staff and disrespected. They didn't care to help or let me know why it has taken more than 5 months and 3 visits to the store to get my watch served and band replaced. I was treated horribly, very unfair. I had a very bad experience at that store location. I will not recommend anyone to this store and it's a shame how bad customer service can ruin the reputation of a brand name like yours. read more

Sue Ann or Suen (not sure of spelling) was rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me in a condescending tone and was irritated (showing with her words and tone) when I asked to have links removed from my Tank Solo Cartier watch. When I asked if the watch typically "relaxes" a bit after wearing it she replied "No, obviously not. it's metal. it doesn't stretch out" in a rude way. When I asked her how many links she took out she counted them in front of me slowly "oneee, twooo, threee" as if talking to a child. Terrible experience and not the type of treatment I would expect to receive in Cartier. I would not recommend this location, unless you want to be belittled. Also - she scratched one of my watch links while adjusting the size. At least I have the 8 year warranty to cover that. read more

It is with great sadness that I write this review. CARTIER really ruined my life. Or rather, Cartier destroyed my wedding celebration, our achievement as a family. On January 26, 2021, we chose the "luxury brand" to symbolize our renewal of vows. Where until the time of payment it seemed perfect. However, on February 2, 2021, one of the pieces was small, and Cartier denied the replacement, stating that the ring was used. Thus, after purchasing our new wedding rings, it was necessary to adjust the size in one of them. Where I made a reservation and was attended by then salesman Joseph Pilla. Obviously, this service took place at the Miami Design District store, exactly 7 days after this DAMN purchase. When he was attended to, Joseph assured me that in 30 days he would have my wedding ring back. And that I would have a low cost, just $ 190 for this service. Immediately, I agreed with the values and conditions imposed by him. After all, the seller was very aggressive saying that I had already used it (it really is sad to have to write this). After that, with the deficient service, this Cartier store never attended to me or kept in touch. Well, the 20, 30, 40 days have passed and nothing of the commemorative ring, which we would use for our photos of our son, who as a gay couple, we have waited many years to achieve. Today, March 7, 2021, I am still without my "Famous Luxury Brand Cartier" ring. I am ashamed of this unfortunate situation. I feel nauseous at being treated with the disrespect I am experiencing. Give the 7 year plans for the pictures of our wedding and so waiting for the child to be canceled, because imagine the pictures with only my husband with a wedding ring. I feel guilty for not looking at the complaints that this store has. MY SUGGESTION IS; DO NOT BUY CARTIER. DON'T BE DECEIVED AS I WAS. DO NOT ALLOW DREAMS AND PLANS TO BE DESTROYED. Now, I will go to great lengths to hold Cartier accountable for everything I am undergoing. For the moments that I am not able to have beside my love, after all, causing damage and the destruction of a long dream is what Cartier has done. Our long-dreamed photos, at the time of solidary pregnancy, did not exist and we will never have that moment again. CARTIER TRANSFORMED THE DREAM OF 7 YEARS IN THIS NIGHTMARE. HAS TRANSFORMED AN ARDUA ACHIEVED, (OUR SO EXPECTED CHILD) IN ANY KIND OF PHOTO. Look at the many comments that this store receives, and you will notice that this is just a corner store. Where will it end? I will inform you. ON COURT. I WILL TAKE CARTIER TO THE COURT TO PUNISH HER. Why do I have a real trauma from this little shop. RECORDS OF A DREAM WE WILL NEVER ACHIEVE. There will be no problem paying the best lawyers. Be sure, I am not here exposing my suffering for the meager dollars, because I am lucky that this is not our problem. BUT I SWEAR CARTIER WILL NEVER DO THIS WITH US! To the consumers, excuse my long outburst, the exposure of my life and my family. CAUTION do not be victims as I was. read more

I don't know why I didn't listen to all the bad comments about this store. I know how internet comments work; most of the times is about people just having a bad day and taking it all on the internet.... well, not this time. This store does not pair with the reputation of the brand and I don't know how it hasn't been fixed. I was ver excited for my first piece and I didn't want to order it on the website because I wanted to experience the boutique. I've been to Bvlgari where the service is extraordinary and I expected the same from Cartier... well, didn't happen. The security guard and the girl on the main entrance were super welcoming but the sales associate I got was very monosyllabic, didn't offer water or to sit... and it was like he wanted to get it over with the sale as fast as he could... I mentioned this piece was my birthday gift and didn't even offer to wrap it... anyways. I hope this get fixed soon because honestly, this store is damaging the brand big time. read more

I will never step foot in this store or buy anything from this company ever again. I have never been to a store that is so openly raciest before. We were on the first floor browsing and while walking up stairs my friend sneeze. The people working there stopped looked at us and turned away. As we were upstairs you hear them laughing at us and saying "be careful you know those Chinese and the corona". And they did it on purpose because one of the girl looked at me from downstairs though the big circle with the chandelier. First off all, I'm second generation American and my grandparent were from Korea, and my friend who sneeze is Native American (Seminole). I am sorry your raciest people can't tell the difference except for the shape of our eyes. And second not all Chinese people have corona. I wanted to grab a manager and explain to them why it's not okay. But my friend was too embarrassed and wanted to leave. So happy Cartier opened up at this location. I dropped off two of my watches for service. The store has a designated service desk for repair. The service personnel inputs all of your information and examines your piece. They let you know if there is something that needs repair other than maintenance or battery replacement. Your quote is delivered via email with different options. They have a quick turn around time for quotes. I got mine within three days. Once I approved the repair it took only two weeks for maintenance and repair. Once I picked up I received both of my watches back as if they were brand new. They also gave me brand new boxes and cleaner for polishing. Their service was exceptional. I'm happy they opened up this location since it's so much closer than the Bal Harbour location. I will definitely be back for repairs and maintenance. read more

I have been a regular client of Cartier around the world for Decades. Of all my Cartier shopping experiences, the only ones that have been unfulfilling have taken place at The Design District. I want to share my experience with customer service in retail. First and foremost, retail is a very competitive market to be in; for me, customer service can define if I become a loyal customer or find a different store. Cynthia, a sale representative for Cartier, is a prime example! When shopping in luxury boutiques, the amount you spend can define how you will be treated. The higher the amount, the greater catering you will receive. Even though I was only purchasing a wristband for my watch, Cynthia treated me as if I was buying a brand new watch! She took the time to walk me through my option until I was satisfied. In conclusion, Cartier has always provided quality customer service in my experience! I will continue to purchase my valuable items with such pleasant representatives. read more

So after suffering for several years with what I assumed were faulty LOVE bracelets, I met an amazing service advisor by the name of Caitlin H. She actually listened as I expressed my long standing disappointment and frustration with their product. She then assured me she would resolve this issue and gave me two options. She noticed that my bracelets were too large and felt that they were sliding around and banging into each other to the point where the screws would loosen...So she offered to exchange them for a smaller size or issue a store credit. I decided to trust her and exchanged my 20cm bracelets for 18cm bracelets. Turns out she was absolutely right..The new bracelets are much more fitted and do not slide around. I have had them on for 2 months straight and have not had to tighten the screws. While I am grateful that Caitlin was able to figure out the issue, I am annoyed that several other associates including the manager couldn't do the same. I appreciate Caitlin's caring and thoughtfulness. She really does care about her customers. Cartier is lucky to have her and should consider promoting her!
