I took my Toyota Sienna to Carthage Auto Plaza for a an insurance repair after a wreck that took place on 10/15/2018. Advanced Claims & Inspection Services, a third party hired by United Home Insurance, filled out a professional adjustment claims form for all repairs needed and the report was complete with photos of my car. After the professional inspection, my car was towed to Carthage Auto Plaza to complete the work. I received my car back on 11/9/2018 and called Carthage Auto Plaza 15 minutes after my car was picked up because I noticed a new crack in my windshield at the top of the passenger side of my vehicle that was not there at the time of the wreck nor at the time of the adjustment claim or when it arrived at Carthage Auto Plaza. In addition, the button to the passenger window were not in working order. The headlights were not balanced either. I explained that I was trading my car to a dealership in 3 days and needed this remedied. I spoke with Rebecca Murphy regarding the time it would take to repair the windshield at minimum and explained (in writing) that I could not make that happen because I was trading the car on Monday at 11am and that I'd prefer to reduce my trade amount with the dealership and be compensated the difference. I also sent Rebecca a professional quote for what the windshield would cost to replace and asked for the cost less labor, which I feel is incredibly generous. Frank Bartosh said that I needed to take it up with my insurance company if I wanted it fixed. I called my insurance company. They reviewed all of the photos and the report and said that it was NOT a result of the wreck and therefore they would not pay for it. I spoke with Rebecca again after that conversation and she said they would make it right. I traded the car thanks to an extremely understanding dealership but was still wronged with subpar work from Carthage Auto Plaza and only requested that they make it right. Frank Bartosh swears that his business didn't complete the windshield damage and that a crack on the bottom of the windshield was from the wreck. It was at the top and was NOT from the wreck. I have MANY photos. read more
