They do things differently - by hiring all registered clinicians (only RN, PT, OT, etc.) and no assistant clinicians - they maintain a high level of quality and personalization. My Grandma appreciated that T.O.N.E. would commit the same Nurse to her throughout her whole episode of care. This built a level of familiarity and trust as she lives on her own in a homebound status, and we have limited chances to swing by and check on her. Also, T.O.N.E. provides a Registered Dietitian to her which is a service her previous home care did not even provide. Since she is a diabetic patient - they also went the extra mile in sending her an RN who is a Diabetic Counselor. Nurse Nancy who visits my Grandma has helped her with her glucometer, sliding scale and insulin on numerous occasions. Also, her PT Mo, has her up and walking on a walker again since her hip surgery. She really has been doing a lot better with T.O.N.E. Home Health - her Doctor's office reports her improvement in between visits. The nurses have left her extra gauze and some light medical supplies after her wound care - very generous of them. They were even able to install a tele-monitoring system in her home which let the nurse monitor any concerning symptoms, vitals, or changes in her weight. Their mission is to act as an extension of the physician's care into the home, and to prevent re-hospitalization. I am not sure if anyone checks Yelp to research a home care, but this is the least I can do as an avid Yelp reviewer!
