Specifically the ground preparation was more deliberate than I've seen by past contractors. The estimate for concrete was spot on and did not need a follow on load nor was there significant waste. Lastly, the price was very reasonable! Will definitely use Talvarez again.

We talked to three contractors and came to the conclusion we would get the best quality from Tavarez Designs at a fair price. Good call - their work quality was outstanding and they were hard working and polite. They made sure the foundations for both the mailbox and columns were solid and well constructed. Highly recommend.

The flooring was installed higher than the surrounding subfloor. When I get new tongue and groove flooring, the hump will only get worse. Here's how their business model is set up. A Mastercraftsmen level contractor comes out and pours sugar in your ear. The crew comes out and does "the best they can". If you're dissatisfied well, we can fix it for more money. Oh, what's that, you want to talk to a complaints department, we don't have one of those. We can send someone out to tell you you need to pay more money to get it right though. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you do get every detail in writing, including the fact that you want your floor to be level at the end. Also, that's not a free inspection in the sense that you pay for it if you have the work done. My free estimate came with a $876.38 "Engineering A" fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They invoiced for 4000 psi concrete but delivered 3500 psi concrete. Owner low bid to get the job, then complained the whole time, when I held him to his verbal agreements. Was supposed to pour 18" Wide X 14" deep footer, only poured 14" wide footer. Would not recommend, pay for a real professional company, will cost a little more but you will have a better job and less headaches down the road. We moved into the house a few years ago and our back patio gave us issues. It would rise and fall with weather shifts, causing our back door to be unusable at times. We also had a drainage issue down our fence line and an existing flower bed that was falling apart. Jonathan explained what would cause the patio to raise and lower, designed a bigger patio, a French drain for the drainage issue, and a new planter to replace the old. The project took less than a week once they started, and we had rain during that time period that could have slowed them down. We love the new additions to our back yard
