They can accommodate a large group. One came in while we were there. You go up to the counter and tell them what you want and they make the plate for you. I chose the beef stew with field peas, mashed potatoes and cabbage. It came with cornbread too. The beef was delicious, tender and seasoned well. The field peas were awesome, the cabbage just average. The cornbread was dry but was good with the cabbage. I got sweet tea to drink and it was good. Our different choices were meatloaf and Mac and cheese . I tasted the meatloaf and it was outstanding! I hope they have it next time we come. I also learned after I ate that you can get fried chicken. I would love to try that. I think one of our group would have ordered it if we had known. Service was average and the place was clean. I mostly order to go and that's where my complaint is at. The last few to go orders seem to either be the wrong order or missing part of the order. This has happened at least 3 times. This has directed me to another local spot for Mexican food where the food is okay but the service is more consistent.
