I got vinyl plank flooring installed in 2 bedrooms, the hallway and the living room. Which were all previously carpeted. Elias let me save the cost of prep by tearing out my carpet on my own. Which I'm pretty handy, but vinyl plank flooring isn't something I wanted to personally mess with. He even brought the corner round early so that I could match it to paint the trim. He carpet the stairs as well which is the now the only carpet in the house now. His quote beat other quotes I had gotten previously and his work speaks for itself. I went with the Mannington Adura Max collection as far as the vinyl planks go. He was happy to go over all my options during the quoting process as well. After finally getting him to come back out, (which took nearly a year), he advised me that our flooring had been discontinued due to the poor quality. He took pictures and advised me a couple of months later the floor had been approved to be replaced by the company he purchased it from. After him not responding again for months I decided to go to the Company he told me he got the flooring from and try and take care of it myself. After going there and mentioning his name and explaining to them the details I was then told they had no idea what I was talking about and that my flooring didn't come from them. I then contacted and sent pictures of the damaged floor to Mannington (flooring brand company) and they said if I could provide them with proof of where the floor came from they would replace it as it was under a 25 year warranty. I spent another 3/6 months messaging Elias and leaving him voice messages asking him to please provide me the name of where he purchased the floor from so I could have Mannington replace it. Elias never provided me any information and ghosted me which was despicable and beyond disappointing. After looking back I realized he did not even provide me with a receipt or a job number as we paid him cash. After months passing and him still ignoring my messages I decided to seek legal representation and an active lien has been placed on his business.

They did a great job on the floor and that's what really matters but after they left I spent HOURS wiping walls, countertops, molding, windows; seriously, hours. The mess of dust that was left in one of the bathrooms was ridiculous, it was literally caked to the countertops. I spoke to others who've had their floors refinished and none of them reported any significant amount of cleaning. If they had cleaned up after themselves as well as they had serviced the floors then I would absolutely recommend them. However, I cannot with the amount of time that I had to spend cleaning up after the job. Update: I keep finding unpleasant surprises from these guys. We then set up an appointment for the NEXT DAY for Jon to take a look. He was on time and professional referencing both myself and my boyfriend who wasn't able to be there by name. He was informative and attentive, taking measurements, and answering all of my questions with patience. He provided a verbal estimate and then emailed it to me later that day.
