Went to have a chip filled in - they ended up scratching my windshield (1 inch scratch) .... their fix was not to charge me for the chip filling .... not happy about but I was in a hurry- I got down the road a few days and realized my trim piece was missing - so either they didn't put it back on properly or didn't put it back on at all- when I called to complain about the scratch and the trim piece they refused to do anything .... so now I'm paying $75 for a new trim piece and I have a scratched windshield that is very noticeable - terrible customer service and will never recommend them to anyone! Mistakes happen but you need to fix your mistakes !!! This is unacceptable! read more

Had a broken window on our house, and when they came to deliver the window was the wrong color. Called Julie to ask how long it would take to get a new window since it's been below freezing outside and she explained I could take my business somewhere else because they no longer have someone who does home installation and the gentleman they had today had to come from KC, when it's was ordered wrong from the start. Just left having a new windshield REPLACED and PAUL/MISSTY and the whole staff was GREAT. Springfield HOMMIES, if you need a windshield REPLACED or REPAIRED use CARSTEN! The price I got from SAFELITE was $489.00, the price I paid at CARSTEN $245. This should NEVER HAPPEN, SAFELITE should never charge these prices! read more

Bad experience at this place. I went here a while back to get my driver's side window fixed (it had shattered). They got me in and fixed it up. Less than a week later, the window got stuck rolling down and I had to take it to another mechanic. This mechanic told me that the window was installed completely wrong (didn't line the glass up in the grooves in my window so it was crooked and wouldn't ever work) and had to take it out and reinstall a new one. Annoying? Yeah, a little. So, I call up Carsten Auto Glass and kindly ask for my money back. Their window they installed lasted a whole 4 days and then broke. They refused a refund or any type or compensation and were extremely rude and unapologetic on the phone. Waste of time and money. Don't go here. read more

work for my replacement windshield was fast but I had damaged paint on my 2016 truck when I brought it to them to have them look at it they tried to deny and say their is no way it was their fault and all they can do for me is order a touch up paint pen this is a horrible company very poor customer service my 400.00 dollar windshield left me with paint damage totally not worth the cheaper price to use these guys go somewhere else if you want quality work these guys are cheap and fast but you get what you pay for. read more
