I thought it odd that they presented me with a waiver to sign, stating that the repair might not work for me to acknowledge. The front desk clerks spent more time talking to themselves about their weekend activities than interacting with me, the customer. It was completed quickly with a request for me to not do certain things with the car for a period of time. The chip had hardly changed at all! I thought, ok, perhaps it will "cure" or something after the specified time. WRONG! The chip actually got worse than when I brought it in for repair! I've had many of these "super glue" repairs done n the past. ALL took longer than this one and ALL were almost a fully transparent fix. I spoke with my insurance agent who called them. He was told, tough, I had signed the waiver. So insurance companies are paying Venables Glass a couple of hundred dollars for a fix that they force the customer to acknowledge that it might not work? Yes, that is what customers of Venables Glass and their insurance carriers are doing. This company used to have a good reputation when the father ran the company. They say an Apple doesn't fall far from the tree...but it can sure roll a long way! AVOID! Safelight is a great alternative and they come to Madison-Ridgeland!

During the process the technician damaged my driver powerseat and passenger window electronic components. My driver seat will not move and is stuck in furthest rear position making it difficult to reach the pedals and safely operate the vehicle. The powerseat worked when I arrived because the technician used the controls to push the seat all the way back. My passenger window will not go down from my driver side switch but will from the passenger. As well during the installation the technician failed to remove any of the broken glass inside the door panel. It was completely filled with broken glass. I had to personally take the door panel off and remove the glass myself. I would like a refund for the poor quality of service and a repair or replacement of the other damaged components. The technician said he didn't do it and the supervisor said he would contact district manager and would get back to me. The whole attitude was that it's not our problem and they weren't going to do anything about it. I am now stuck with a vehicle that is not safe to operate.

The rude woman argued with us about the tint on a car we have been driving for years. Then when the window was installed there was NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NEW GLASS AND THE OTHER GLASS. Very rude, not good business practice! You do not yell at customers! On top of that, they did not have the correct glass and had to leave us in the waiting room while they went to get the correct one. Awful customer service, price was high and we will never go back or suggest this place to anyone else. In fact, I will make it a point to tell people not to use this place or any of their other locations
