I wish I could leave a zero-rated review. This company will tow your car from the M-bar. I feel…read morelike they do this every night just based off another review I saw on the M-Bars page. They pulled a brand new truck off the lot out of all of the other cars that were parked right next to mine. I feel like they are illegally towing vehicles. After paying $300 to get the vehicle back, the young guy had the audacity to laugh about it. They had my vehicle sitting in the middle of a junk yard behind a locked gate. The employee told me that my vehicle had just arrived there about 5 minutes prior to me arriving. I didn't receive a receipt. I didn't receive a card. Old Otis at the M-Bar seemed like he receives a portion of the money as well, by the way he responded when I walked up to his car to inquire about the tow. Would have loved to speak on a better situation maybe Mr Sledge could actually hold up to his business name instead of allowing a company to be tarnished. Being in business for a long time is a fantastic achievement however the negative reviews and reality speak for themselves. Empathy goes a long way and Leigh Ann Howell is unable to comprehend or communicate effectively. We had to use the Madison Police Department as a form of communication instead of being an adult. Edit: What an odd response to make as a business to mention the tragic loss of my home on Christmas when that has nothing to do whatsoever with my review at hand. Here is the link as mentioned. https://gofund.me/a58f86216 As for my review and statements they still stand because I spoke of my experience with sledges as a company with other reviews of similar experiences. I have never had better service. very respectful, helpful, genuinely kind and understanding people. My daughter and I were stuck on the side of the highway for 14hrs as our insurance tried to find a wrecker service for my jeep and my travel trailer after my jeep became disabled. After several wrecker services cancelled my insurance called me with a company that was able to handle both vehicles and even offered to store the trailer at their yard while the jeep was dropped off at a shop. Because of my frustrating night I asked if they could be sure they could handle both and that's when the insurance called them and added them to the call. From that very first phone interaction it was an amazing experience and I'm sure it took some patience dealing with me in the morning. They quickly got my jeep loaded up and hooked up my trailer. With the trailer dropped at the yard and jeep dropped at the shop and a good coffee shop recommendation their service was complete and it was a relief that it all went so smooth. I ended up choosing a different shop after some calls and made a quick call to see about towing the jeep to another shop and they were extremely fast, safe and helpful. It was an eventful day made easier to cope with thanks to Hegwood's towing great people and service. I hope I don't have to call y'all again but if the need arises when in the area I definitely will. Thanks for the help and keep up the great work. I can't recommend them highly enough.
