My wife got a little too close to a concrete base for a light pole and pulled the right rear bumper loose. We tried to snap it back in place and put masking tape over it to hold. It didn't hold and kept coming loose. We had to cut a third off the bumper to avoid tearing it off completely. We got estimates from three places and Carsmetics was lower by several hundred dollars. They also arranged for a great rate on a rental car, even shuttled us to rental car and arranged to drop off the rental car at their office. They were very helpful and informative the entire time. We dropped our van off at 8:30 AM and they said it would take two days. But the next day they called us and said it was ready! It looked beautiful. We were very pleased with the whole process. Very pleased with Carsmetics. I had some door damage due to someone's carelessness in a parking lot. I stopped by the shop without an appointment and they tried to do some paintless dent removal while I waited -- but it didn't work due to the location. Instead, they had to do the whole deal with repainting and all, but they tried to save me some money. The work itself was done on time, at a good price, and looks great. The staff was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. David was particularly great. In an interesting twist, it seems that the Carsmetics folks damaged my plastic side-view mirror cover. They pointed it out to me before I noticed it, ordered a replacement plastic cover, and fixed it with no questions asked. It would be better that they didn't damage it, but major points for how well they handled the situation. Things happen -- it's all in how you make things right. They will listen to you and help you in any way they can.They didn't charge us and really helped us out and made my day so much better!!!! It took ten minutes and they were super helpful. Thank God for them. The damage was an over extended door hinge from the car wash and a metal piece was sticking out of the bottom of the passenger side door. After dealing with such a hateful person at the car wash who hid behind religion swearing to God that he wasn't responsible it was nice to deal with real people who care. read more

Don't use. Ken, the manager is all wonderful when you go in for a quote then you go in the following week on a Wednesday at the time told you and they can't do your vehicle. Oh we can take it Thursday and keep it till Friday. No, you made the appointment for Wednesday at 8 AM. They would not take the car and have it ready by the evening as they said. There was no getting me in, basically it was too bad for you. While I was in there for the quote it seems they do this alot to people. Many people calling asking if their car was ready, people having to wait an extra day. I should have known this is not a place that is reliable. Just a warning if you are on a schedule and show up for an appointment and they say I'm sorry not today...come back another day and we will get the car done in 2 days hopefully! Sorry very bad work ethic! Not one bit accomodating for a schedule appointment that I showed up on time for! read more

I cant tell you how frustrated I was when I was hit in a parking lot and saw the damage to my car. I chose these guys because of their reviews and they didn't disappoint. I drive a Lexus LS 460, so I didn't want to go just any body shop. When all was said and done there was absolutely no sign of damage. Good as new. It appears to me that the Palm Harbor location does not want small jobs. I E mailed them through the store web site to get a estimate. I I asked them about painting the hood of my car. Horrible experience. Their work was so sloppy, it caused additional damage to my car. They were supposed to fix a small cosmetic scratch. Instead they somehow caused deep scratches on both headlights, damaged the front bumper, and there was paint over spray on headlight. read more

I never got anything major repaired here but what I can say is their customer service is outstanding. I brought my car to see how much it would be to put the little side of my bumper back in place and the guy told me he would put it back in place for no charge. I was out within 10 minutes. Usually places would want to take any money they can from you but not here. They seemed like they cared more about fixing people's cars rather than robbing them for their money. If I ever need anything major fixed I wouldn't hesitate to stop by here. I do recommend people giving this place a try. read more
