Warning: Fraudulent Strings and Poor Quality!…read more I had my racket strung three times with what Vistara claimed was BG65 string, but 3 string broke within a week. Frustrated, I went to another stringing place, and immediately noticed that their BG65 string looked visibly different. I asked the staff about it, and they went above and beyond to verify the authenticity of their string and provided proof. Although they couldn't comment directly on Vistara's string, it was clear from comparison that the Vistara string was a fake and very poor quality. Attaching a photo of the real string for reference. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Vistara - they are using counterfeit strings!

Lacking business signage, if its your first time, its easy to miss, specially coming from 121! The…read moresignage is in front of the building and none on the side. Been here a couple of times because we have to practice for tournaments. Pros: New facility Have area to hang individual racquets to know who is knew in cue Pro Shop 18 courts mixed badminton and pickleball Indoors Day pass is cheaper than others Function rooms with microwave, fridge, toaster, tv, tables and chairs Cons: Small filthy restrooms Small parking space for a big facility Small waiting area for a big facility - If there is a tournament going on, and you have another tournament to attend, they have you wait at the front desk which does not have seating. I suggest they should just have everyone go inside to watch the other tournaments if not full so the front desk area does not get crowded. Bad lighting, too dark Flooring is hard, does not feel padded Pickleball is directly beside the badminton courts - the balls bounce to the badminton courts which makes it very dangerous for the badminton players

1st return visit after $15.9 million remodel from 2021 bond program. WOW! Seeing all the new stuff…read moreyou almost forget how dated it was before. Much better looking from ceiling to floors. See photos. Another rec center is closer to home and will go there to save drive time. But nice to have an option for a newer location. Appears all the exercise equipment on 2d floor has been replaced with same models just new ones. One needs to bring own lock for lockers or buy one from rec center. Too much to list here but do a Google search to review all the improvements made visible and behind the scenes (roof/HVAC/plumbing)

We love this gym because of the pools and the inside is nice, and has a lot of cardio and strength…read moretraining equipment. However, most of the front desk seems like they hate people. Meaning, they are pretty indifferent when greeting or answering questions about the facility. They don't really say hello until we do. I can tell they are just there to have a job, so it doesn't detour me, but geez. I can't imagine being the face of the facility, and having such a poor attitude. They are not mean or disrespectful, but it's like they just tolerate the paying guests that come in. Kind of like that new emotion on the Inside Out 2 movie. There is one guy that is friendly-I think he has reddish hair and glasses. There is another guy upstairs and the first time we went, he just stared my son down in the youth area for like the first 20 minutes we were there. My son is within the age range, but I guess the staff member wanted to make sure he didn't do anything wrong. I interacted with him a bit, and it seemed to break down a little bit of his mean-mugging vibe. He might try saying hello to people, because most people won't want to break any rules if it means disappointing a friendly guy that is in charge. The facility is cool. I suggest they get built in locks on the available lockers like they have at Carpenter Rec. I also recommend that management have a team building exercise or rotate the front people with other staff to give them a break. If you can get past the blah energy upon arriving, it's a really great facility.
