This was my first time visiting a tire shop, and I was a bit nervous, but the experience was fantastic! I had a tire with a nail that needed air and a patch. I called, and they answered promptly, getting me in right away. The service was excellent, and the staff was super kind. Jesus handled the repair, and he did an amazing job! Horrible customer service. Joe at the front counter was rude on the phone and rude in person. Seemed to me like he's been there a long time. It might be time for him to retire because customer service is not his forte. I ended going to Calderons tire shop down the street. Same price but way better customer service. read more

We took our car for a alignment they never calibrated the steering wheel and aside charged me twice for the service!

Took my 2006 ford f250 in for a wobble in front end. Thankfully that was fixed. But they bent the dust covers for the rotors, tore the bushings off the track bars ball joints, broke the caps on rim and proceeded to put them on the rear, and also forgot to put a lugnut back on. Took it back they said they bent the dust covers back to where they should be. But they are still bent. And ordered a new cap for the rims. Didn't offer to replace the rotor dust covers. read more

I try to shop local shops and keep my money here. I have been to this Carrolls many times over the years and usually buy 4 tires at a time with all the bells and whistles. So when a tire that should've been covered under warranty all of a sudden was not I would think they would help me out. They did give me a 20$ credit but couldn't tell me why it wasn't covered. Moral of the story just go to a nationwide brand you'll probably get the kind of service and loyalty read more

Got my brakes serviced at a recommendation from our neighbor and someone who's employed here but off on leave. I was told to ask for Joe and told he would be able to get me a quote. I received top notch service, price was unbeatable and I was able to get in the same day. I have zero complaints about this my experience. read more

This place will take advantage of every person that comes through their doors!! My mother in law is a widow and doesn't know anything about cars. She was told she needed new tires and shocks for her 2013 Accord. They quoted her $2K for all of it, and she agreed not knowing any better. They gave her the cheapest tires for $350, and then screwed her on the shocks. I unfortunately didn't find out until after the fact. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!! read more

I had a screw in the front tire of the work truck and the low tire pressure light was on. I was 4 hours from the shop. I pulled into the Carroll's shop and they were able to fix it and send me on my way, free of charge. I would recommend this shop for tire repair. They probably could have taken advantage of me as I was clearly from out of town and in a jam. read more

A couple years back I went to Carroll's to get brakes fixed. Was charged over $600. About a year later, I had problems with brakes again. Another $600 plus. Just this week, I had to get brakes fixed for a third time. Only I did not return to Carroll's and never will again. read more

Oh Boy! They are in trouble with me! Playing me for stupid! As a woman I take this very personal it's dangerous for me to be driving my car like this... They charged me $1,200 they said I needed two new bushings in the front and then changed their mind about the arm that's connected to the bushing and I did need it replaced because it's broken and they didn't replace the bushings they only charge me for them and I don't know if they did my back brakes how am I supposed to know again I'm a woman... I will get my money back.. now I'm going to do my own advertising for them I already wrote it on my car. Don't go to Carol's tire they will rip you off!! read more

I have been here twice for flat tires on two vehicles in the last 6 months. They take the time to repair the flat and not just do a quick fix at no charge. They are very friendly and helpful. They did tell me I needed tires and showed me the wear of my tires. When the time came to replace them I went to them and didn't bother checking competition prices because of the great customer service. Highly recommend. read more

I had 2 tie rod ends replaced. I was quoted one price and charged another.... After the work was complete i start to get in my vehicle and notice they had not even rotated my wheels and charged me a ridiculous 90 dollars for alignment. Never ever go to this place.... read more

I will keep this review short and simple. They won't provide the service you ask to be done. They will do the increasingly irritating thing that almost all automotive shops do now, which is to find some other (always more expensive) reason for problem/noise etc. In addition, the gentleman that was at the front desk that "helped" us was abrupt and rude. I bought all four of my tires here one of them kept losing an average of 14 psi every two days. I took the tire in which was still under warranty. They said they ran multiple tests ie underwater leak test, checked for a cracked rim, checked the valve stem & couldn't find anything wrong. So I took it to Big Brand Tire Warehouse and it was a cracked valve stem, which they claimed to check! I paid $5 to fix and will be going back once I need new tires. Also the customer service is mediocre and the wait is FOREVER which I don't get, since they're obviously not putting in the time to properly assess a product they warranty. read more

I have been using the Tulare Carroll's for several years now. They are always fast and friendly. Being a small business owner I greatly appreciate that they are always there finishing a job for at 530 or 600 pm. They close at 500 pm but they understand the small things that mean so much to the success of my business. They have given me used tires on several occasions when I needed a stop gap. My only criticism would be that at times it is a short wait at the front desk when they have too many customers. Success is a double edged sword :) read more

My wife's car had a flat so I took the spare out of the trunk and put it on for her. She had a screw in her new tire so I put the new tire in the trunk of her car and sent her to have it fixed. They put the fixed tire back on the car for her but left fingerprints all over the rim. Then left the spare in the trunk and didn't set it in and secure it down they just threw it in the trunk. Little things go along way as far as customer service. Cleaning up after your done and getting the customer on there way with everything where it should be would be a nice start. read more

On Friday, 2/03/18 my wife took her car to carrolls due to light on tpms. They told her the tires were all OK on pressure. The light came on again and this time I checked it. Only had 14 lbs of air. We took the car to a competitor and it had a 4" nail in the tire. Lucky she didn't get stranded somewhere. So I will be visiting the store soon to give some education to these fools. read more

The service I received from the staff aka Joe was absolutely amazing. They took the time to show me the damage of my tires and breaks and explained to me what needed to be fixed to keep me safe on the road. They offered me great financing and rides to and from my house . They didnt try and push extra sales on me and thanks to them my car is in tip top condition. Above and beyond! I was traveling through the area with my two dogs when I got a flat tire. It was 4:40 and they close at 5:30pm. I popped in to see if they could repair my tire as I was in a pinch. They fit me in and allowed my dogs and I to relax in the waiting room. It felt like only 15 mins when they where done! They repaired my tire, put it back on, looked over my spare and reassured me of the safety and quality of my tires. Every person there was very kind and outgoing. Just when I thought they couldn't be any kinder, they told me I didn't have to pay. Maybe it was the look of distress and exhaustion on my face or maybe it was just how sincere they are there but they sent me on my way free of charge. They could have tried to sell me a new tire or overcharge me but they didn't. I still so thankful for how nice they were to me. It has been over a week and 1000 miles later and my tire is still great! I would highly recommend this place and if I lived in Tulare, I would definitely buy my tires from there. read more

I got some tires here about a year ago they took forever to put them on they charged way to much and I financed them the manager told me if I have it automatically taken out of my bank they can get it set up for no interest and I am paying 3x what they are worth because he lied to me read more

We've bought tires at Carroll's for my Forester, and it was a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and got the work done quickly. I've since been back thrice - picked up a screw (ick), got tires put on anothe vehicle, and got my tires rotated and balanced - and the customer service has been top shelf, every time. After the tires were installed and paid for, my mom asked for the warranty information. They said she didn't need any warranty information and she could just take in the tires if they needed service. She purchased Dunlap tires from here and 5 months later the inside wires are popping out and we noticed while on a road trip. She is going to have to buy new tires in Sacramento because the "new" tires she bought are not drivable 5 months later. Here's to hoping they make it right when she goes back. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. My daughter-in-law had Carroll's lift her truck. It has had a horrible squeak since they did the lift. She has taken it back multiple times and were continually told it was normal it just needed to be lubed. She finally took it to another shop they should her that Carroll's had left all the Zerks out. She took it back to Carroll's and they were rude and acted like she didn't know what she was talking about. They agreed to put them in but I would never recommend them to anyone. They are especially rude to women. read more

Went there to get a nail out of my tire and they said 30 minutes..I waited and hour and when I went in there to see what was up they were more thy to give me my key and go somewhere else. If you're not spending big money, they don't care about customer service. When I get $400 brake jobs done there they are helpful. read more

I will never ever recommend this place or go to this place again!!!! My brakes had worn pads and I knew that when I took it in. They told me I had hot spots on my rotors and they needed to be replaced. So I agreed paid over $300 dollars for front rotors and brake pads and now my brakes will not stop squealing and making a grinding groaning sound when stopping at slow speeds. I took it back like 5 times and they worked on it each time to supposedly fix it but each time I leave it does it again the same day or next day. I really don't think I can take a back again after so many times because they are worthless there. I will never step foot there again. read more

I spent almost a grand there for some new tires. The tires were not a deal, but an OK price. Here is the problem. Before you give them your money, you are treated nicely. Afterwards, nope, nope, nope!!! The working guys are great! It is the manager and sales crew. I basically was ignored after my credit card went through. For example, I tried to give one of the sales guys my keys, I was told that I had to give it to the other guy. Really? The guy I gave it to barely acknowledge me when I gave him my keys. Before the money was in the bag, I was a close friend. When the car was ready, my name was yelled, twice. What happened to Mr. ----, your car is ready. He saw that I was in the waiting area. One final thing, the wheels were greasy, and I had just washed my car and to to rewash it. I was going to have them do an alignment. Instead, I will never go back!! Amen. Scrxw the free balance.
