My visit to Jefferson Dentist would be every other month to monthly visits. I had my fillings, root canals, braces all done there.. Thanks to Jefferson dentist , I've been traumatized to ever going back to dental care as an adult. All I can remember was nothing good coming from that place. Lets just say the braces I got on, I had to get them redone somewhere else. I've been paying for dental insurance for the past 7 years and never once used it. Now that I'm older & can no longer endure the pain in my mouth, it is time to visit the dentist. A friend of mine referred me to celebrity dental I still remember the procedures at the dentist. Getting my X-rays done was one of my least favorite. It's not painful, just uncomfortable when the film is in your mouth. Having someone insert & remove a plastic film in your mouth. Not sure because I'm an adult and my jaw is bigger compared to when I was a kid. The dental assistant was very gentle on my X-rays and it did not feel uncomfortable at all. I finally did my teeth cleaning after 12 years of hiding from the dentist. It was not as bad as I thought! I had an old filling that bothered me every now and then. I thought I had to get a root canal, thank goodness I didn't need one! Dentist applied some seal and that pain is now gone. I just need to floss daily and use sensodyne toothpaste. They were very clear and concise with their financial detailing as well as being flexible with their payments and scheduling.I've had some financial discrepancies with my prior dentist which made me feel uncertain and very skeptical heading into operations. But Bourland dentistry kept their word on the exact price i would have to pay after insurance and relived a bit of anxiety by answering all of my questions from the Procedure to post surgery. He continued to gripe about how my earring was in the way of all the images and would ask my why I could not open my mouth further. When I responded "it hurts" he did not seem to care at all that I was in pain. As far as the earring goes it was fused closed and I have not been able to remove it since the wreck when I tried to explain that he continued to cut me off each and every time. I think I was cut off in mid sentence about 15 times through my consultation. My favorite was when her personally insulted me when I did not understand a question. I was trying to clarify and instead just got insults dished at me the entire time. Even if he was the only specialist I would rather deal with the pain than see him. He lacks empathy and should take a course on bedside manners. He even quizzed me about how I obtained my dental molds and such and when I told him he dismissed That Explanation. He also told me that everything was in alignment and my retainers should fit... but they do not. Never did he even have me put them on To even check. This accident I was in was extremely traumatic and has impacted multiple portions of my life. I did not need to be treated by him poorly on top of everything else I have to deal with. The only reason this review gets 1 star is because he staff was very pleasant. I should have listened to the recent terrible google reviews on his office. I would also like to mention that I was there 12 minutes before my appointment time and still had to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled time.

SCAM ALERT! I had…read moresome bonding break off my front tooth, leaving a gap. I went to my regular dentist who put the bonding back. My Dental Insurance covered half the cost. A week later the bonding broke off, so I went to Mint to see if they could do a better job. Their quote was unusually high, so I asked if they had contacted my insurance. I knew my insurance would cover it, because they had just covered the same procedure last week. Long story short Mint REFUSED to even contact my insurance. I was flabbergasted. In all my life I've never had a dentist who refused to even submit. If the insurance carrier denies the claim then fine, but they wouldn't even SUBMIT it. They just wanted my money. Needless to say I left. They gave me a corporate card where I could call to complain and guess what? Both numbers on it are disconnected. Complete and total scam office. Stay away.

I then come back AGAIN for the adjustment bc I am in EXTREME pain. Literally can't eat ANYTHING barely can get down soup and have lost 10lb due to the inability to eat anything for weeks now. After 2nd visit the pain is still not gone. I'm instructed to continue pain meds for the next few weeks. I keep doing that only to have the pain increase and worsen.
