I contacted Calmo Landscaping for some updates in my yard. He came over and we talked about my…read moreideas which included planting in the front and back yards. I also asked him to rototill and amend the soil with top quality amendments. We had talked about the 4 cu yards I would need. He arrived with his crew and they started clearing while Calmo went to pick up the plants I had purchased along with the amendments. He returned and we laid out the plants. I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. I appreciate the work he did but feel like the communication was not great.

Reggie and his team did an incredible job on our property. The property they worked on was…read moreextremely overgrown from neglect due to the previous homeowners. In a total of 3 days, Reggie and his crew came and did, among so many other things, the following: -ivy removal -bamboo removal from root -select tree removal safety permitting -weed removal -bush and tree trimming and shaping When they finished the job, we were left amazed. Reggie and his team have gained my complete trust and confidence. Reggie is clearly experienced and has excellent judgment in terms of what needs to get done to achieve the look you're going for while addressing your concerns. For us, we were extremely focused on protecting our old growth trees so everything was done my hand to protect the root systems. We also wanted to maximize privacy and prep an area for more fencing--Reggie achieved both. He is extremely knowledgeable and gives advice any ISA arborist would as well. Again, his professional judgment is spot on. He will be doing many more projects with us and we look forward to working with him and his team.

Not to mention, they did all of this in one day, the very day it happened and was very reasonably priced! Definitely recommend. Definitely would hire again. 10 out of 10.

They did a lousy pressure wash job on my wooden playset and removed a handful of rotted boards in 5 hrs. Then we discovered there was much more wood rot and I told the owner not to start buying any materials until we removed all the bad wood and know exactly what was needed. In addition they had to borrow tools from me as they didn't bring the right tools, even needed a hammer and socket set, amazing. Then they showed up a couple days later with a bunch of new wood, even after I told them not to purchase any materials. I finally had to fire them and asked them to leave the new wood (worth 350) to at least get close to the 1,000 I paid in advance. The owner refused and told me he had to rent a pressure washer and wasn't making any money. Well that's certainly not my problem. Overall lousy work, unethical, dishonest and doesn't take responsibility for his own problems. Strongly do not recommend.

Jill was very responsive and they came right out, we discussed the job and agreed upon a price and Benito got right to work. He bagged all the mulch, raked what he cut with the weed whacker, and moved the neighbor's portion because he wanted to make sure everything looked good. I've referred him to two friends who have had all positive things to say about his work. I called him again on Saturday, and he did a fantastic job even with the crazy rain/sun combo that is Spring in Washington.

I accepted because they could be there quickly. On the day of service it was NOT the same person. When I inspected the work I pointed out other trees in the same bunch leaning toward the driveway. They wanted another $50 (cash) to take down the 4 trees I could see. After they were done there were still some trees leaning toward the driveway. I was out of cash and gave up. If you use these guys be sure you are clear on what they are going to do. They will want the specific number of trees you want removed.
