Great company. We broke down on a Saturday morning 15 miles outside of Wendover. We called them and were towed into town. An oil line broke and drained all the oil out of or van. They had to order the part so we ended up leaving the van with them for a few days to get it fixed. They had it repaired by Tuesday. I thought being towed on a Saturday would cost over 500.00 but it was only 265.00 The entire repair including diagnosis and towing was only 1056.12 after tax. I thought that was very inexpensive for the quality of the service. If we are ever in trouble in that part of the world again, I will definitely be calling them! The only hard part was we were travelling with a German Shepherd. That makes it hard to be broken down but it was a nice day so we were ok. read more

I drove into town today to see the Wendover Army Air Base Museum after recently hearing about it. Sadly moments after driving in my truck decided to stop working. I was so thankful that Carrillo Brother's was able to fix my truck as I explored Wendover on foot. I walked more than ten miles and saw again pieces of history. We were in Wendover for Speed Week and on Aug 7th I had a sidewall failure on my truck tire. I rolled into the parking lot on the rim at 9:30 at night. I was surprised to find mechanics still working. The technician that helped me found a used tire and had it mounted on the rim and back on the truck in under 30 minutes. Price was more than reasonable too. I still can't believe my luck finding someone that time of night to get us back on the road. This is a late review, but better than never. We were on our 45th Anniversary month long trip in our truck and trailer, and about 1/2 mile before the Sinclair Station in Delle, UT the battery light came on on the dashboard. By the time I looked up the problem in the manual, the whole dash lit up and then a big clunk and the truck went into "limp mode." We were barely able to get to the Sinclair station, the last services before the Bonneville Flats. My husband was on the phone with insurance. I was on the phone looking up towing and auto services. Ironically, we had two nights reservations at the KOA in Wendover, UT, and Carrillo Brothers were a 24/7 towing and auto service. Within an hour and a half, one of the employees came out to get us with his big tow truck. He was so conscientious, as I could hear him double checking everything to ensure the truck and our trailer were properly hooked up. We drove 70 miles with the most personable gentleman. Enjoyed our conversations. He even took us directly to our KOA RV spot, dropped us off and our trailer, and took the truck to the shop. They communicated the whole time it was in the shop letting us know it was the alternator, we needed a new belt and battery, and that they didn't have the part there, but an employee was going to Salt Lake to get it. We informed Carrillo Brothers that our reservations were up in two days, and our check out time was at 11:00. They came and picked us up, took us to the shop to get our truck. Excellent service! We haven't had any problems since. We even mentioned to another person our situation, and they confirmed that Carrillo Brothers were fantastic. Thank you Carrillo Brothers! We were in a pickle when our car broke down nearby. They are not 24/7 and arrived a little later than they'd said on the phone (Saturday morning at 8:15, as opposed to 8am) and there was already a line of people in front of me. But once they did get to me, they were super helpful and reasonable. They could have price gauged me and instead they fixed my car (the tires just needed to be taken off and washed due to mud build up from drivng in the salt flats) and charged me an extremely reasonable price. Amazing customer service. My boyfriend and I are on our way to Minnesota. My car about a hour way from Wendover was misfiring going up any incline. We called around 11pm, they answered and told us they can check it out for us in the morning. Showed up this morning, got us right in and assessed the issue and fixed it right away got us in and out in 30mins. It was caused by a lose spark plug. Called because my daughter was stuck on the side of the road late at night less than 15 miles from their location (close to 9pm) on a Saturday. Our Tow Service was having trouble getting someone out there to so they are also on my hit list. Carrillo Brothers said they could help her out and would call her and to just try to get the car to the Motel 8 parking area in the mean time. She NEVER got a phone call back and had to call around and try to find someone else but wasted 45 min waiting. If it was one of their daughters I sure hope someone would have been willing to follow through getting them help. Kinda hard when your in a different State worries about your daughter. The only place to stop. We broke down heading west and they towed us back to their shop only to find out the engine was 100% gone (they showed proof, did several attempts to remedy, but the engine was done). They were extremely honest and up front, Julian and Omar are your people. They want what's best for you, and won't over charge. Cannot say how good it was to have them during a very stressful time. We got a flat tire an hour from town with no cell phone service! We changed the tire and put a spare on but we still had a 3 hour drive home all freeway from Wendover. I called these guys after hours hoping to get my tire patched and put back on as I felt much safer driving home with it on. These guys were so helpful and professional. On day one of my cross country trip, I discovered my AC was not working in my truck. (It was the first time using it since I bought it last fall). I called these guys from the road and they told me to come in the next morning when they opened up. They got right on it, diagnosed it and repaired it in a couple hours and the price was very reasonable. They definitely gave me the hook up. This place is literally the biggest scam, these people need to be investigated, they take advantage of your emergency but they rob you of your money, may even damage your car in order to get what they want. I was driving to Reno when I got a warning that one of my tires needed air so I drove to the nearest tire shop which happened to be these assholes. I told one of those guys working with GREEN EYES that my tire needed air. He then showed me it was just a patch that I needed, the tire still had air in it but wasn't completely flat. He took the tire out of my sight and took it to who knows where, comes back and shows me a NEW hole that made it completely unusable. It looks like they slashed my tire and tried to charge me for a whole new one. Luckily I had a spare but the next auto shop I went to told me these dick heads slashed my tire so that confirms it. Just as we left our hotel in West Wendover on our way home to Washington our truck started to lose power and the gauges were all rising so we pulled over as it slowly felt like the car was dying. West Wendover not being a large town was a concern to me for finding 1) a mechanic and 2)a mechanic open and willing to check the car out right then (as it was approaching 5PM on a Friday and the few hotels were already close to sold out should we need to stay). We quickly started to scroll our phones to find a mechanic my wife said "Hey what about here?" I looked up and we were broken down on the curb in front of Carrillo Brothers Auto Service. So I stepped out and approached the mechanics. It was clearly a busy day coming to an end so I imagine the last thing they wanted to see was me walking up. I was wrong and Julian and his staff were incredibly accommodating, courteous and informative and after diagnosing the issues and ordering some parts for the next day they still stayed late Friday, again Saturday and even came in on Sunday to finish up so we could get to our destination in time for appointments. Carrillo Brothers saved us!! My husband and I were traveling from San Francisco to Wisconsin in our Mercedes with our 4 fur babies and we fried our alternator on the Salt Flats... rookie mistake. We thought we were going to have to dump the car and find alternative transportation. Luckily we were able to bring the Mercedes in first thing on a Saturday morning. The Carrillo Brothers drove all the way to Salt Lake City that same day to go pick up a new alternator. They fixed our car the same day, and ended up needing to replace one of the cylinder cables as well. After that, the car was running perfectly and we were able to get on the road again first thing Sunday morning! Carillo Brothers could not have been better!We hit a boulder going 80 mph on Interstate 80, crumpled our front right rim, obliterating the tire. Limped into Wendover & ended up at Carillo's. Not a 15" rim to be found locally. We were not eager to wait for a new rim to ship from SLC, so the OWNER, Manny, made a couple calls, and personally went out & found a used 15" rim for us. He had a new tire on in no time, and checked our front suspension, made sure we were safe to go. And the guy only charged us $20 for his labor! We would recommend Carillo's to anyone. read more
