We came here for the Sunday, Nov. 7th 2021 matinee showing of ETERNALS...This multiplex is a huge improvement of what St. Croix had previously for cinemas at the Sunny Isle shopping complex--new, clean, stadium seating and state-of-the-art surround sound...
...however, the customer service can certainly be improved:
1) We asked the ushers where the restroom was located, and were told there were none! I knew this was impossible and of course once we got past them we found the large bathrooms with no problems. Do the employees know, or even care, to direct their customers with such questions?
2) The poster outside for the latest James Bond movie was displayed in the Lightbox BACKWARDS. Someone actually put the one-sheet inside the glass case without even the pride or care to see if it was placed correctly (as a marketing film executive who actually worked on the last several Bond films, this really annoyed and insulted me).
3) My friend and I bought a large popcorn that we wanted to share, but because of Covid we requested an extra bag so we could divide the portions and not eat out of the same container. We were told no, because of 'inventory,' and that we would have to buy a full-priced extra serving of popcorn just to get the extra bag (we were asking for a paper bag, not a gold watch!).
4) Small complaint, but for a movie theater of this size not to carry ice cream products (especially in a warm, sunny, hot climate) seems wrong.
I am not saying 'the customer is always right,' but seriously--the above issues are not asking too much! I would love to know what the manager might say to know this-I would hope they would care enough to address for future patrons. read more
