If I could them no stars I would. I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Tucson 11/10/23 along with being encouraged to purchase the extended warranty (which I did) and literally since that day I have had problems with the vehicle. I worked with the salesperson named Jim and I really thought he along with every other employee there had integrity but boy was I sadly mistaken. For starters very 1st day I purchased the vehicle the mirror is broken, and a piece of the roof rack is missing. I was immediately assured the part for the roof rack was ordered but it takes a while because it was coming from Hyundai. I was also told that the mirror would be ordered, and I would get a call when the parts came in. When I got home, I opened the sunroof, and it wouldn't close and I also smelled a burning smell, so I drove the car back to the dealership. I had also found dirty used masks in the glove box along with all the past owner's purchase paperwork (which I still have) and under the passenger front seat there was breakfast sandwich wrappers. You could tell the car hadn't been detailed at all. So along with everything else wrong I told Jim about these issues also. The excuse about the wrapper was that maybe the person that test drove it last left it, but I was the last person that test drove it because I remember he said he was taking it out of inventory because I said I wanted the vehicle. The ended up getting the sunroof closed but I was told a part had to ordered for that also and again I would get a call when the parts came in. Later that even after going through the vemorrowhicle more thoroughly I texted Jim because by this time I'm annoyed and upset. I explained that the passenger door didn't close completely, and I could stick my hand through the lining and air was coming in. I also told him there was a crack in the windshield and that I felt taken advantage of and they I felt he knew all along the vehicle wasn't up to par but sold it to me anyway. His response is "We will take care of everything". I bring the car back and they end up having to change the valve cover gasket because the car is leaking oil (hence the burning smell). So, you mean to tell me, you had a car on your lot, that your mechanics serviced but didn't know all this stuff was wrong with the vehicle? I call BS. I can't even count how many times I came over there about this vehicle to speak to someone and got the runaround. I told them that I am in the middle of Chemo treatments, and I can't be in NY during the winter due to the cold, so I needed my vehicle fixed but nope, I was told time after time the parts were not in. From the very first day I told them I heard a knock sound after I turned the vehicle on and then again when I turned it off but for whatever reason I was just ignored. I literally cried, cursed and damned in the place because I was so angry and tired of the runaround, but I always seem to get the same answer, "I will leave a message for them and have them give you a call tomorrow" but of course no call ever came. So now let's fast-forward to March/April, I finally had my husband deal with them about the parts. I was told to drop the vehicle off and I had the list of everything that need to be done and when I got there the mechanic said the only thing, he knew about was the roof rack. So, you mean to tell me I've been waiting all this time and they've been lying to me because the only part ordered was for the roof rack? Jim also told me that when my vehicle came in for the repairs that it would be detailed and filled with gas because of how it looked when I purchased. Another lie told because no detail, no gas, my mirror still hasn't been replaced and now the motor has a hole in it. 7 months and the motor has a hole in it and no one wants to pay for it. Not the extended warranty and not hyundai because they both say it is due to sludge. Isn't it ironic that Hyundai said if the valve cover gasket was changed, they would have seen the sludge, so you knowingly sold me a piece of shit car. This vehicle has now been stationary for 2 months, but I still have to make my payments, and you think I would ever tell someone to purchase a vehicle here? The only good thing out of this is I have a family member that is very close with the AG and my case should be able to get heard pretty quickly because trust me you are going to stop scamming people like this. read more

I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and after this last experience would never recommend anyone to go there again. I am also wondering if this has happened to anyone else by chance. I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer was never told it was a prior police vehicle which btw in NYS it is illegal. Company stated they are not held reliable because the car fax states "government "and that I have no proof and nothing to state otherwise all the while no dealership wants to take it in on trade because its value is so far off what it was sold to me for and well it was a prior police vehicle. I bought a car after being assured that the issues the vehicle had would be taken care of before I picked it up. None of the issues were fixed. Thats bad business. additionally, there was no warranty offered to me. When I called and spoke to an employee, they decided to laugh at me. how professional. I suggest seeking additional training for the staff on how to handle these kind of issues and concerns and additionally, being honest with customers would benefit their business. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!! My husband and I purchased a car less than a year ago for our son to get back and forth to school (suny) and work. We received a call on the 20th our son was stranded on the side of the road. He heard a loud noise and the car wouldn't run. My husband had it towed to carriage traiders as that's where we bought it. After inspection they told my husband that a rod had blown through the back of the engine. They told him that because he hasn't brought it back in to them to be serviced it wasn't covered. My husband told them that he had serviced it himself (changed the oil) and asked about the extended warranty we purchased. After a lot of back and forth he got the number for the warranty company and was told that because he changed the oil himself that the warranty was void. Now we have a car that is worthless that I am still making payments on. I still owe $8000 on it. To top it off I'm now being told that I can't even take it off the road or drop the full coverage insurance until it is paid off. They should be ashamed of themselves!!! Taking advantage of people like this. We all know this didn't happen because my husband changed the oil. They don't care though they don't have to pay out the money. That's all they care about. "Steer clear." I bought a car from them 3 years ago in very desperate need of a car after college, knowing little to nothing about car values, warranties etc as this was my first car buying experience. The sales process was very smooth and low pressure, however everything after that was downhill. After purchasing my check engine light came on after a couple months. Ended up being a fuse. After that came replacement of the caliper and rotors on the rear. Then my passenger coil snapped and ripped into my tire which, the coil was covered under my warranty, they would not replace the tire. A couple months after that I had to replace the same rotors. And then they told me a spark plug broke off and fell into the piston. You cannot break a spark plug without touching it, and I did not bring the car in for this issue. I was told I needed to pay for it. I did. 1.5 years after the coil was replaced it snapped again, I took it to a different shop and was told that there's no way a NEW coil would snap after 1.5 due to rust. I paid $2000 for a warranty and they didn't put new parts on my car - they used old ones which failed. My mechanic also told me that I paid about $4,000 more than the car was worth. In addition, 3 years after buying the car I've replaced the rotors and caliper on the rear twice. 2 of the same Snapped coils. I feel dialed my this dealership and felt that my lack of knowledge in the car buying and car servicing processes were taken advantage of and I would not recommend this place to anybody desperate for a car and little knowledge of how to stand up for yourself. read more

DONT BUY HERE!! They sold me a ford f150 that was almost totalled in an accident, then never disclosed to me that it was an accident. I found out from another dealer when they ran the carfax when I was trying to trade it in because I need a vehicle that actually runs for work (I paid $24,000 for this truck that broke down a month after buying it). Then after I called them out with the carfax after i went to trade it in they said they "didnt see that in that carfax". I paid an extra $3,000 for a warranty which is good because the transmission died a month after I bought the truck. They put a shitty rebuilt transmission in it and i ended up losing almost $5,000 on the truck in just 5 months. Dont trust these people! Went in today to TEST DRIVE ONLY. At the end of the visit I was ensured by Roger the car sales man to fill out the credit inquiry paperwork to save me a trip back after I DECIDE WHILE BEING GONE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS WHAT I WAS GOING TO PREFER WHAT TO DO. Told him as my father was sitting beside me I DID NOT want my credit pulled as I was going to think things over but to keep the paperwork there for when I called back to ok it if I wanted to. After it was filled out said he would speak to the finance manager. After sitting there for 15 minutes waiting, he told me the finance manager would speak to me. Go into his office and low and behold they pulled my damn credit behind my back. That completely was a huge turn off and disrespect of everything we just went over. Just because of this alone..... and my trust broken in 15 mins I will not be back and my business will be taken elsewhere. Shady and pushy. Soft inquiry or not on a credit report.... Very disappointed. The morning after I purchased my vehicle my car alerted my tire needed air. I figured the car had been sitting so just needed air. This happened again a few days later. I thought maybe I just didn't put enough air in the tire, didn't want to put too much air. Christmas morning needed air. Finally figured that something must not be right. Woke up to completely flat tire. According to Carriage Traders, I have road side and car is under warranty. I called them and instead of helping me, they insulted me! I was told, "you have to bring us the car. How do we know you didn't run over a curb". After a very angry call, I knew they weren't going to help me. Called my own road side assistance from my insurance. I brought the tire to be checked and they said I DID NOTHING TO THE TIRE! Extremely UNIMPRESSED!!! Purchased a 2007 Monte Carlo SS, my sons first car. To start, I had a scheduled appointment to see and drive the car, but the tank was empty. We had to wait a 1/2 hour for a different sales associate to bring back the company gas card. Secondly, I was told by the sales associate Roger, the power seat would be fixed before we picked up the car, 4 days prior. Upon pick-up, the seat was not fixed, he advised they could fix it for cost only, it was not covered. This was after I made the trip there from Albany, nobody bothered to call. He then told me that it did work intermittently. To top it off, they only fill the gas tank half way.
