I was given bad advice on updates to do to my home. One realtor came to my home one time to give me feedback. Was told "take sauces off of countertops ". I had sea salt, pepper, and a decorative olive oil. I took off the "sauces". That was what I was told. Until feedback said the AC was old (worked like a dream as I kept my home at 72) and roof was old. I've had a roof that leaked. Mine did not. This company makes excuses for their ineptitude. I was selling at the height of sales. No sale. Instead they wouldn't let me out of contract for 2 and a half weeks. Even after I paid $500 to be let out of contract, they took 4 more days which delayed my floor remodel and my re listing. They are not to be trusted.

She told us she was a former teacher, which explains why she is so organized and able to go over important information in way that is easy to understand. She is an excellent communicator and was able correspond with the listing agent in a timely way to find out any information we asked about. She is a local and knowledgeable about what neighborhoods are safe, which was a huge plus since we only moved to the area a year ago. She really listened to our preferences and was quick to send us listings that met our criteria. When we found a listing we liked and wanted to compare it to the first property, she was very accommodating and flexible with our schedules. She showed me the property in the morning while my boyfriend was at work, and when I liked it she scheduled another tour for after he got out of work. That property went into a multiple offer scenario, and she was able to help us end up on top. After our offer was accepted, she was able to use her network of connections to arrange a home and CL100 inspection. When we found out that the seller didn't disclose minor flaws, Kat was able to negotiate with the sellers agent to get them fixed for us. Like many couples, my husband and I enjoy perusing Zillow over Saturday morning coffee. We had a good idea of what we wanted - a much larger lot, an elevated home, and water views. One property caught our eye, and in early January I reached out to John to see if we could just casually go look at it. Ha! I should have known that there is no such thing as casually looking at real estate. As soon as we saw it, we knew we wanted it. We did look at a few other properties as a sanity check, but they just didn't compare. We decided to move forward with an arduous negotiation that left us all on pins and needles. Through it all, John was very responsive and offered well-timed and much-needed comedic relief. We ended up under contract on our new home at $75,000 under asking. Next, we had to sell our house! Peace of cake in this market, really, but John made the process smooth and nearly effortless. He sent over very kind gentlemen to clean up the yard and lay new mulch. He also sent over a very professional and talented photographer that captured our home beautifully. We have two young children, so it was important to us that showings be scheduled in advance and be as unobtrusive to the children's schedule as possible. which is a request that John took seriously. When it did come to showings, we ended up scheduling 4 a day before we were officially going to begin showing the home...and ended up with 4 offers that night, 3 of which were over asking. A neighbor complained and for this, his rent was raised by a hundred a month. Since he had a month-by-month rent instead of a year lease, there was nothing he could do. They have also posted notes of a "rental inspection" on a set date, then never arrived despite several apartment complex residents taking time off from work to be present. I would not recommend. Avoid at all costs. Won't deal with credit cards.
