I read the other reviews and noted that everyone commented on how clean the house was, however that was not the case for us. The floor was filthy and had food on the floor behind the table, the dishes were dirty, the blinds in one room were broken so unless you wanted to be up with the sun, the room was unusable. 2 showers leaked water as the molding was broken...Worst of all was the ants all over the kitchen floor and spiders in one bedroom. We could not walk barefoot because of how many there were. Yes, we took pictures of all the issues and sent it to management. They did offer to spray for ants, however there was no non-toxic options and I did not want my family, which includes 3 young children, breathing that in. We just kept killing them. There was no offer to clean the home, fix the broken items or refund the greater than $500.00 cleaning fee, given that we spent hours having to clean the home and rid it of bugs. We even have picture of the bites. All Jen would say was that this would be resolved for the next renter, which does US no good. She also incorrectly stated that we refused to let them fix these issues, which is a lie. Landscapers were there for hours one of the days, the jacuzzi maintenance company was there one of the days. The only refusal was for a toxic ant spray. She was highly unhelpful, borderline rude and arrogant and clearly has no concern for how the renters experience is. The home is a beautiful property, however was not prepared for our arrival at all, despite booking weeks in advance. We were even given the wrong code to enter. The entire experience was stressful and the attitude and response from Jen is what made it that much worse. I will be sure to avoid any property managed by this company in the future.

We know this property inside and out. In this review we will give honest feedback and pro tips on how to get the most out of your Villa # 7 experience. Property Overview Villa #7 hands down has been one of the best places we have every stayed in Puerto Penasco. The house is super luxurious with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths this place is fit for a king or queen and their family! There is a grill to cook your meat of choice, a kayak to fish or explore in the ocean, or cable tv if for whatever reason you would want to stay indoors and cool off. Villa #7 (Casa de Hamman) has great appliances and amenities to fit any family. There is a HUGE 10 person hot tub, 2 grills, 2 patio sets. Best part: It take 1.5 minutes until you feet hit the sand. The house is literally just yards away from the beach. Pro Tip: If you want to catch hundreds of fish take kayak out in morning and fish over the reef with squid purchased from fish market. Pro Tip #2: If you want to experience wildlife take kayak out early morning 5-6 AM paddle out a ways. Our family swam with dolphins and sea lions. Owner Overview Shaun Hamman is the owner of the property and ALWAYS wants to make sure that you enjoy your stay. He even offered to have ice set up to be delivered to the villa prior to us arriving. On our first stay for some reason the coffee pot was missing. Shaun ordered one to be purchased immediately so that my father and I could continue to feed our caffeine addictions. Great guy and he really cares about your overall experience. Property Manager Overview Oscar Lopes is the property manager. This guy is absolutely incredible. It doesn't matter where you stay, there will be hiccups along the way. What matters is how it is handled. Oscar handles any issue with absolute class and completely empathetic to any of your concerns. This guy takes concierge to a whole new level. If you want to make sure you are taken care of rent from villa #7 and Oscar will ensure all your needs are met. Conclusion: If you are looking for the perfect place to rent a beach house, go down to rocky point and rent from Shaun Hamman. This owner has his act together and the property leaves you wanting more. Minor hiccups from the stay were patched well from Oscars great problem solving abilities. At first glance, the two story home, with a converted basement is in a much older neighborhood. This is obvious from the condition of the neighborhood. The home looks, at first impression, that it's imply got painted with huge coat of white paint or maybe it's still primer. I noticed right away the outdoor lights on the walls not on nicely. We had seniors with us, and the stairs are very dangerous for any guests with seniors as there are no hand rails. The basement conversion rooms, game room, bathroom, bedrooms, etc. the room we were in had only one outlet no where near the bed. We wondered why there was a box fan in the little room. Well because at night that room gets stuffy and warm. The bathroom down there was okay and nice except the decorative clothes hangers, one was almost broken. The game room wood / decorative support beam going across the ceiling had some splashes of paint. Most all of the window curtain rods looked like they really threw them on there fast and not well done. The kitchen didn't have a real coffee pot and the dumb pod thing they had worked horribly. The kitchen also was simply missing a good amount of pans, necessities. The propane tank in the BBQ was empty, so we had to swap it out with the fire pit one, then eventually had to finish our BBQ inside because the BBQ just was t working well.
