I have gotten botox, daxxify, Pico laser, 2 Enlighten Revepeels and am scheduled for micro needing soon. During my third session, I asked the technician to increase the intensity, and she set it to 20 j/cm2. Despite this, I experienced no shedding at all. So, for my fourth session, I again requested a higher intensity. The technician moved me to a different room, explaining that each machine has a specific intensity setting. When I asked her to go beyond 20 j/cms, she said she needed the manager's approval. The manager informed me that 20 j/cms was the highest setting they would use on my skin type (am black with caramel skin color) despite my explaining that this level wasn't working and I had no shedding at all. She insisted that it simply means I would need to buy more sessions to see results. This left me frustrated, because I am not a novice to laser hair removal and I used to have good results, but now I felt like I was being told to keep shaving and returning monthly for ineffective treatments without any noticeable progress. When I checked other reviews, I saw many similar complaints, indicating a shift in the business's priorities. It seems they're more focused on pushing customers to buy more sessions rather than achieving results. I am writing this review exactly 2-weeks post my last session, my hair is growing back and not a single hair has shed.
