Ok. Found these guys on KSL.com. Called a bunch of companies, got only a few responses. One of the…read moreresponses was from some sprinkler guy in Utah County who told me to go to the "services" section of KSL.com and I would find dozens of sprinkler contractors because he wasn't about to come to Sandy to do a sprinkler job. These guys were the ones I picked. Needed a new sprinkler system. Bought this place in 2011. Figured I could either fix the sprinklers myself or drag around a hose. That got old two years ago. Just now got the money to start from scratch. Phil is the owner, Chris is the sales guy. Jason or Justin or Jared was the lead installer. Took them two weeks, not including the turf repair I'm still waiting on. I don't know what they use for an address. You can ask them for their tax ID number (EIN). They do a bunch of work for the LDS Church and from what I've heard, they're pretty damn picky. $400/zone. I got 7 zones. Probably could have done with less but it was worth the extra two or three zones to make certain I got what I needed. I bought a Hunter Pro-C Controller, Solar Link and the Roam remote controller. sprinklersforless.com or something. Paid $400 for all three, got a free t-shirt. These guys installed it. They trenched because I've got a lot of old-growth trees with roots everywhere. It took about two weeks to complete aside from the re-seeding that's coming soon. They worked long and hard. There were two guys on the job at all times. Phil knows what he's doing and they've done a very professional job. Perhaps you can do this yourself for less. I know you can pay twice as much as I did given the bids I received. There were two or more companies that came out to bid and never got back to me. I would recommend these guys to my mother, grandparents or even my aunts but my parents, grandparents and one of my two aunts are deceased. My other aunt has Alzheimer's and I'm here to tell you that's a shitty disease by any measure! Yeah. Five stars are four and a half stars too few. I mean that. After being a loyal customer to Turf Plus for several years and happy with their service, I am now…read morevery disappointed in the way that this company operates. Approximately 3 months ago, Turf Plus was aerating my neighbors lawn and hit our fence with their machine. In turn causing damage to our fence that needed repair. I called Turf Plus immediately after it happened, and came to an agreement on the cost of repairs for the fence. Turf Plus shortly after sent us a check for $100 and we repaired our fence, after all accidents happen. Last week I scheduled an appointment with them to service our lawn. Told them what times I would be available and scheduled it for the following Friday. Friday morning, I called and spoke with the receptionist before the technicians left and told her that I needed them to come in the morning instead of before 1 PM or after 4 PM. She told me that it was fine, that she would have the technician call me. The technician called me a half an hour later, to tell me she would be coming to service the lawn between 5-7 PM. I told her that the time would not work, that no one would be home. She then asked me to leave my fence open, so she could still come. I explained it was not possible with our dogs and that we would not be returning soon enough for them to be let back outside. She then stated that I needed to reschedule for the following week, I told her that I couldn't because I will be having a baby. She told me to call the receptionist and see if I could be rescheduled. I called the receptionist and explained the situation to her. She told me she would call me back. Shortly after, I received a text message, not a call back. The message stated, "Hi Mrs. Shepherd this is Dana the manager with Turf Plus. I'm sorry we're unable to please you. Please find another company to service your lawn." I was shocked! They didn't even try to reschedule me! I called the receptionist back, Dana answered the phone. I asked him if he thought is was appropriate to send me a text, he stated that it seemed like I was unhappy. I explained to him the several conversations that I had, had with the other employees earlier, which he was unaware of. That I would have preferred to have been rescheduled, to which he replied that I couldn't the following week. I agreed and told him I was having a baby, but that I wasn't going to be in the hospital for forever. He then stated that they weren't making any money on our business, because he paid us for our fence they had damaged a few months back. I told him, that their technician breaking our fence had nothing to do with me, that we were still continuing to do business with them, and the amount that they paid us was their offer, not mine! Anyway, needless to say, we are no longer doing business with them. Unfortunate that it is poorly managed and due to improper communication between their staff. They have lost a loyal customer, who has referred many people to them.

I paid Davenport Foundation Repair $6,762.99 for concrete stabilization and a 1,183-square-foot…read more"Concrete Protection System: 2-Part." Unfortunately, I continue to have significant unresolved concerns about whether all of the work I purchased was completed. The proposal separately described targeted PolyLEVEL stabilization and a 1,183-square-foot 2-Part system that included PolyLEVEL under the concrete slabs and NexusPro joint sealant. Before I purchased the project, the salesperson explained that the targeted PolyLEVEL work would involve injections through the concrete slabs and pool capstones for stabilization. He separately explained that the 2-Part system would involve additional PolyLEVEL injections beneath the concrete throughout the treated area, followed by NexusPro joint sealing. The extent of these additional injections was presented as an important component of the system and part of the justification for its cost. I was present during the PolyLEVEL installation and did not observe the additional injections being performed in the manner the 2-Part system had been described to me. When I later raised this concern, I was told that the injections had been performed. I subsequently inspected one control-joint location where the NexusPro application was already incomplete and did not find an injection opening or visible PolyLEVEL foam there. I therefore asked Davenport to provide installation records identifying where the PolyLEVEL associated with the 1,183-square-foot system was actually installed. I have not received that documentation. There were additional incomplete areas. Some PolyLEVEL work did not provide the coverage that had been represented. Planned injections around the pool capstones could not be completed, and the salesperson later acknowledged that omission and offered approximately $220 back for that specific work. That refund has still not been issued. I also found that no PolyLEVEL injections had been performed in the area extending toward the basement stairs, despite that area being shown within the project drawing. There was also a separate, clearly visible problem with the NexusPro installation. Portions of the control joints were left untreated because storage chests and unattached cinder blocks were sitting over them. I specifically asked Davenport the day before the work whether I needed to move anything and was told that I did not. After later moving the objects, I found that the joint sections underneath had not been sealed. Davenport subsequently acknowledged that these sections had been left untreated. I sent Davenport detailed written notices asking for the installation records, clarification of which PolyLEVEL work was performed under each part of the contract, a financial adjustment for incomplete PolyLEVEL work, the previously offered capstone refund, and completion of the unfinished NexusPro. Update 10/06/26: After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, including email correspondence and a certified-mail letter, I have not received a substantive response addressing the remaining issues or providing a timeframe for completion of the acknowledged unfinished NexusPro work. I would still prefer to resolve this directly, but at this point I am proceeding with the remedies available to me. I will update this review if Davenport responds and resolves the matter.
