They do have a Facebook page that they seem to keep updated, so I'd check that put. As soon as you walk into the shop it smells like heaven. There was a scensy with a lemon flavor that was very inviting. The wax melts were available to purchase. The room is filled with goodies. Prices range from cheap to some items being a bit on the pricey side. I'd have to say there will be something for everyone. There are so many little rooms so I won't spoil the layout. This was a lot of fun to browse through, as well as supporting local business. We can't wait to go back to That One Place!!!! The lady at the counter was SO sweet. I wish I would have asked for her name. Thank you for letting me take pictures so I can show others this beautiful shop. My only suggestion would be putting a sign off Bluff so people know where it is, I can see how people might not be able to find it. It is between College/18th, and Bluff Elementary. There's boutique soaps, fancy candles, artsy decorations, accessories, the list goes on and on! I just happened across this gem when checking out Krumpets for the first time. What a partnership to have these two neat shops in the Fulton/ Clinton area... And just across the street from one another! They were open the day after Thanksgiving and had quite the Christmas spread. Really pretty and put me in the mood for the holidays. This is a shop you could frequent on the reg and always find a new treasure tucked away on some magical shelf. It's definitely a must when purchasing a gift on the fly. Grandma Nell's, to me, is more like a boutique (without the clothing), kind of upscale, where Riverfront Antiques is an actual antique store. Riverfront Antiques to me is more of a classic antique store. Everything from larger furniture, to vendor booths with smalls, to an upstairs room with crusty, dusty, and rusty items. It's well organized and while I didn't buy anything here it's a place I could see checking in on once in a while if I was in the area... I imagine inventory changes now and then with each vendor. The one thing I didn't like. The woman at the counter was on the phone from the minute I walked over from Grandma Nell's to the time I walked out the door to exit Riverfront Antiques. And I was in there for quite a while... I didn't try to listen so it very well could have been a business call. It's just a pet peeve I have so it's something I notice. Like if I'm at the counter at Dunkin' and they are taking care of the people in the drive through first while I'm standing there. Like... Hey! I'm right here! Maybe at least acknolwedge a guy? Applied for Kohl's card, my information was entered incorrectly so I was denied. Didn't realize it…read morewas wrong till I received the denial letter. Had to go back in the store to reapply was entered correctly and was instantly approved but took 2 hits on my credit report because of 2 inquiries. Won't get card for 4 to 6 weeks. Since I just moved back to the state only have a temporary paper license and they can't look up my credit card with a temp license. Not impressed with there operation probably why it took so long to apply for a Kohls card. Options are limited for shopping here.

You can tell the small group of employees are a tight-knit group that really do always try to put their best foot forward. I've looked through the items this auction house offers multiple times and I'm always really impressed with their array. They have everything from furniture to home décor to tools to lawn equipment to gardening supplies to toys and games and collectables. Literally everything. Whether you love antiques, resell items, or want something new for your home at a ridiculously affordable price; this is the place to get it. They hold auctions weekly and are always very professional in the way they handle everything. Everything is clearly and neatly displayed and pictures are even posted on their Facebook group so you can get an idea of everything they are offering and decide if there are items you'd like to bid on up for grabs. Most auction houses now-a-days are still a bit 'old school' so I REALLY appreciate the fact that they advertise a lot of their items online so I can get a fair idea of what they are offering before I make the trip to Clinton. I haven't seen any other auction house that also posts great high-quality photos of their items online. I've discussed with Justine about her selling my items, and she's been very honest with me about the way she does business and has offered me her services in a fair manner. Compared to other auction houses I've spoken with, McGinty Auctions definitely has the friendliest reps and they're always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in ensuring all of my questions are answered, and my concerns are addressed. Every time I call they pick up their phone and they're more than happy to talk me through everything. Whether you're looking to sell a lot of your old things, or you want to bid on some new things- this auction house is by far the best in the Illinois / Iowa area. I've been to a few different auction houses and this one always stands out as the one that offers the best service, the most diverse array of items, and the best prices. They have A LOT of furniture that can be upcycled for a profit- and also a ton of great items to sell on eBay. Totally worth visiting when you have some spare change to spend. Reschedule was necessary due to life-threatening weather conditions. Not a single walkway, drive or entry had been plowed on the new pick up day. Seemed very unprofessionals and ill-equipped to be offering internet auction options.
