Very personable and friendly. I had a great time just visiting with him even if I hadn't bought anything. The shop is an old Victorian style house (supposedly haunted...see pic of article from the Gateway). The first and second floors are laid out like a typical house. Each room showcasing a selection of merchandise. There are some locked cases on the first floor you will need to ask staff to unlock. Typical setup as any other antique shop. I found some old vintage pocket knives that had belonged to the current owner's husband that I was able to buy at a very reasonable price and a Keen Kutter pocket knife that was a little more expensive... There was a Keen Kutter Kutlery display case upstairs that I would have loved to have taken home... ! It was pretty big, we had no room, and it was $400. The selection of items here ranges from retro, some modern, to vintage or antique. Clothes, hard goods, some larger furniture, and a lot of smalls... You definitely get a kind of creepy vibe on the second floor, but not that much different than any other old home from that era... My maternal grandparents lived in a very similar house. The upstairs always seems strangely quiet to where you hear every creak and groan of the aging construction, you hear the wind when it's blowing, and the temp varies from downstairs and from room to room. We didn't meet "Helen"...and I'm okay with that.

However, Brooke was patient, professional and even maintained the original quote. When the company scheduled to move our IT wires cancelled last minute she was amazing and found us another contractor. Carpet installers were efficient and installed in fewer days than scheduled. Project was changed midstream to require new base in additional areas and they took care of the difference without difficulty. They were professional, patient, efficient, and overall provided great service to a difficult client. Wish I could give ten stars. Will use for future projects.

We were all just trying to find our products and deals. It seems that everywhere I go these days, someone is angry or screaming at others in stores over COVID - this was not the case here at all and I was so happy. The cashier was very helpful in assisting me with the keypad machine to enter my phone number to get my coupons. I saved a good amount of money and will definitely be returning when I am in town!
