Having lived in our home for over 20 years, we've worked with many contractors, but this was the first time a project went perfectly smooth. Daniel and Kendall truly went above and beyond. Every time l'm in my new office, I am so happy I just want to give them both a big thank you! They delivered exactly what was promised and more. He gave us a good estimate and had me send over photos of the really bad stains. He assured us he could get all the stains out without any problem and boy was he right! When he was done, ALL of the stains were gone!! Every. Single. One. Even that nasty red wine stain in the living room. Gone!! Our carpets literally look brand new, even a few weeks later. (Thank you, Ted!!) Ted made this a great experience for us and we've decided to get our carpets cleaned 3-4 times a year from here on out! He was so helpful in explaining the process and doing the mitigation and remediation work and was just a really friendly guy. Fast forward to rainiest winter ever which caused major water leaks in our bedroom and down through our living room ceiling. I immediately called Erik and he came over within the hour. He setup a containment and began the process removing damaged areas and starting the drying process. Well the leaks kept on coming and Erik has been at our house almost weekly since mid-January until just a few weeks ago. Always upbeat and helpful. Always responsive. When my insurance company just stopped responding to me in March regarding the additional work needed, Erik still came through. He brought his equipment and set up several more containment areas, brought fans and dehumidifiers and kept the damage from getting worse. We always felt he genuinely cared about us, our home and our well-being (it's stressful dealing with the damage, insurance, contractors and having your house torn up for months). I highly recommend Erik and 1800 Restoration. We joke that we never want to see him again - but should the need arise, he'd be the first person I'd call. Thanks Erik!

Let me start off by saying I'm moving out of a room I've been renting in a house for the last year…read more The house is OLD, almost a century, has been minimally renovated, and has had countless tenants coming and going for well over a decade while being neglected in regards to cleaning. One the tenants just vacated after living there for 10 years with a long-haired dog, and cleaning was NOT her forte. Loose fur, cobwebs, crumbs, dirt, and grime had collected in every corner of the house...it wasn't a very comfortable place to be residing, but I digress. I wasn't sure how much the job would end up costing or how "deep" it would be, but after getting a quote from APK, I thought their pricing was very reasonable and competitive, and I booked them for our move out cleaning and hoped for the best. The communication with Andrew was seamless from the start. I got a quote, an invoice, and a secured date and time within 24-hours of reaching out. He sent me a reminder text the day before the service, and the following morning, the team arrived promptly at 8am, just as I received a courtesy text from Andrew letting me know they arrived. I was already impressed with their professionalism, but again, unsure of how thoroughly they would be able tackle this job considering the circumstances. In walked Bruno and Thaly, with an extremely sunny and gracious demeanor as I shamefully had to be the face of this *very* lived-in home. I quickly showed them the space let them know I would be out running some errands while they were cleaning and went about my way. After a few hours, Andrew notified me that they would need a bit more time as some of the blinds were in pretty bad shape (not their fault by any means, I was just grateful they were willing to put in the work) and he informed me of a VERY reasonable increase in pricing. About an hour later (so six hours total instead of the anticipated five), I received another courtesy text letting me know that they were wrapped up, leaving, and closing the door behind them. I raced home eager to see the results. When I opened the door, I was absolutely blown away. I regret not taking before photos, but my goodness, the house was absolutely spotless. The kitchen linoleum (which I assumed was permanently stained by age and neglect) was sparkling. The wood floors were reflective. The windows glistened. The sinks were spotless. The light fixtures looked new. Whatever mystery sticky goo that had been stuck on the interior of the refrigerator for God only knows how long was history. The thick layer of grime that had coated every surface of the blinds was long gone. The usual stale aroma that was constantly lingering had been completely obliterated and for the first time in years (decades, even), the house looked was legitimately clean. The house was immaculate. Fortunately, I'm moving to a house with roommates who take pride in their space and make cleanliness a priority. They just got the room I'm moving into professionally cleaned, but we will 100% be utilizing APK for all cleaning services in the future and I'll be referring them to everyone I know. Thank you, thank you, thank you again and again, APK for giving me hope that I'll actually get my deposit back and turning this hell-hole into something so heavenly while displaying the utmost professionalism every step of the way. The absolute best of the best, I truly cannot recommend them enough.

He methodically took down section-by-section first by hand and then tougher areas with a bobcat. He removed the old wall's footing with precision being sure not to damage the concrete driveway where the wall and footing were connected. At the end of the demo, Alex then power-washed the entire driveway leaving the whole area cleaner than when he arrived which is amazing considering the amount of dust and debris that came from the wall removal.
