We wanted flooring that was low maintenance and did not hold the smells of being pet owners. The choice of contractors that restore hardwood floors in our area seems to be limited. We attempted to contact several contractors and Eddie was the one who responded promptly. Eddie came out to give us a estimate and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about his craft. He recommended a stain that would be best for our floors after years of abuse. Eddies price was right in line with what we thought it would cost to complete the project. It was refreshing to see that he was not one of those contractors that would try to "highball" you on his pricing!!! After my wife and I agreed to his estimate we scheduled a date to get the work done. He was scheduling a month out at the time, but it was well worth the wait! Eddie explained that it would take three days to complete the project. Day one sanding and staining. Day two poly coat. Day three knockdown/buff and final poly coat. We were so pleased with the results that my wife and I just sat in our chairs starring at the floor in amazement. We didn't even want to walk in it because it was so beautiful!!! I will upload photos of before, during and after the project was finished. Note the dark stains on the floor from pet stains from previous owners and our puppies. Thank you Eddie and Anthony! Rick did a beautiful job on my floors throughout my home. However, after a few weeks, I noticed that the flooring in my kitchen was buckling. I called Rick and left a message--no return call. I tried calling him again about a year later--no return call. I finally contacted another company to have the kitchen refinished. The new contractor said the floor was not dry enough the first time it had been refinished. The new contractor said he could do th e job($400) but would like to make sure he got the right color stain. I tried calling Rick Burris again...still no return call. This new contractor knew Rick and he tried calling...he finally got a response today (the day he is refinishing my floor). So, I know I was calling the correct number because I checked! Although I like the look of my refinished floor in the rest of my house, the kitchen really did need to be redone and I don't appreciate a contractor who does not stand behind the work he does. I signed a $4,000 contract in mid-September 2025. I was on a tight timeline before getting new concrete poured. Zack promised a 2-man crew. Only 1 guy showed up. I would have never agreed to this if I knew. Hanging 20-foot gutter sections solo is ridiculous. It took him two days to fully install. He focused on leaf screens instead of downspouts. I warned him it was going to rain. It poured heavily for 8 hours straight, dumping massive amounts of water directly into my foundation because the downspouts weren't on. It caused me so much anxiety about basement flooding. Weeks later, when my concrete was poured, the new gutters leaked and stained the brand-new concrete. Zero Customer Service: When I complained, Zack said he was too busy with other installs. Once he got my money, I was no longer a priority. A second crew came but failed. By early November freezing weather, new leaks appeared. Zack actually told me "leaks would always be there." If I wanted leaks, I would have kept my old gutters! Update (1/16/2026): Zack sent a 3rd crew who spent 7 hours completely rehanging the entire system because the first guy's work was so bad. Zack blamed his subpar subcontractors, which doesn't reassure me as a homeowner. It's YOUR job Zach to hire good workers. Not make excuses for your poor judgement in hiring them. I raised my review to 3 stars to see if it would hold up for the year. Latest Update (7/14/2026): They are STILL leaking. Every single corner silicone seam is split. Zack had the audacity to blame my brand new roof replacement as the cause of the leaks. He demanded "documentation" before coming out to fix the leaks AGAIN. If he looked at his own photos from September and compared them to the 4 times he's been out here, he'd see the shingles are a completely different color. To top it off, one section of the leaf guard is mismatched and randomly thrown in. When you are TOO INEPT to trouble shoot your install problems, blame the homeowner. Unprofessional. Never recommend! Negative -5 stars if it was allowed!
