The deep red colours ran, the leather backing separated, the once beautiful rug ruined without the decency of a return phone call. There was no offer of compensation once it became clear that the rug could not be salvaged. I contacted Fresh and Clean many times in the past year, but still, no response from this shabby unprofessional. I will take legal action for compensation. Once here, they took excellent care of my property, protecting the exposed hardwood floors, and were also transparently honest, talking me out of cleaning two side chairs that, truthfully, weren't at all dirty and would have required expensive dry cleaning to protect the designer fabric. Richard and his colleague took their time, working assiduously to clean the stair carpets. I called Allpro Carpet Cleaning and booked an appointment to have them see what they could do. The gentleman from Allpro arrived on time, was very friendly and seemed quite passionate about cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing my mattress. They had several service levels you could choose, from just a basic clean steam and extract, to a full featured sanitize. I opted for the full service as I really wanted to ensure a clean fresh mattress. He was finished in about 30 minutes at 3PM and I was sleeping on my dry & clean mattress by 11PM. After a couple days, I was still not satisfied with the smell of the mattress (it was a memory foam pillowtop which could easily hold on to stuff more than a traditional mattress & no one else in my house agreed that there was even a smell but I could smell it) so I called them back half expecting to have to fight to get them to return and work at it some more. Not only did they return within a couple days, they happily executed another more thorough clean and brought with them a special enzyme shampoo which effectively eliminated all odors. They send three people and stayed about 1 H 40 M. The good: I was interested in giving green cleaning products a try and Aspen Clean uses all green products. It makes a HUGE difference because it doesn't mean make your home smell toxic. In fact there's no cleaning product smell at all. They did a decent job with the clean, only a few small dust particles were found. Most places were clean and sparkling. The not so good: price was obviously one as its not affordable for ongoing biweekly cleans. Cleaning products while non toxic did not clean soap scum on edges of bath tub and one of the toilet bowls was still yellow. Not sure if they simply forgot to clean it or if the product is just weak. I ended up pouring store bought bowl cleaner in and cleaning it myself and it ended up white and sparkling. Lastly the team was over an hour late after giving me an hour window to come so I ended up waiting over two hours for them. Verdict: worth a try if you're interested in trying green cleaning services. Not having that toxic smell really makes a difference.
