Over the last few years I've booked here about 6 times. I don't consider myself a studio…read morephotographer and mainly shoot events. But each time I've come here for client work, it was a great experience. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Studios are clean and organized. Rates are solid. I've been to a handful of other studios in Miami but HGAB is definitely my preferred spot. Parking can be a bit annoying sometimes if it is a busy day or if you have a large group. That's probably my only complaint. Definitely recommend if you are a novice or an expert. You can get it all done here.

I've booked Studio A a number of times now for portrait work. Studio was clean and spacious. Easy to book online. They leave time between each shoot for cleaning and resetting. If you forget equipment or are looking to get creative, they have gear, backdrops and props available. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and their customer service skills are always 10/10. I have no doubts bringing clients into this space to work with me.

Since then they have expanded, adding tons of space for more equipment, as well as a gallery/gift shop selling handmade books and prints. Compared to some other South FL art studio/workshop prices, the ones at IS Projects are reasonable and are also a perfect way to try your hand at a new art form. I love knowing there's an art studio like this in the area that offers hands-on learning. Just about every weekend there's a workshop so check out their web site's calendar. Plus if you're unsure about which type of printmaking you're into, they have free demonstrations the first Friday of the month as well as during the FATVillage Art Walk.

No explanation, just an email for a refund. Now, while I appreciated the refund, an explanation would have been very welcomed as well as information about the workshop being rescheduled. Had I printed the receipt out earlier in the month I would have driven almost an hour to the IS Projects location and found the doors locked. A phone call would have shown some excellent customer service attitude. In conclusion, I can only suggest that anyone that may sign up for these expensive workshops double check their email to make sure that that their workshop is not cancelled Willy nilly with no explanation. Too bad about the lousy customer service and lack of professionalism.

We chanced up this gallery when looking for Atomik's ex warehouse studio gallery. We found the big…read moreObie orange goofy smiley face swallowing the facade but suddenly a whole new gallery inside! We were welcomed in by Mr. Work the young scientist cum artist cum entrepreneur and the one man show for Mark Diamond a well known lenticular artist who has made Miami his home. The space is a Work in progress but he and his partner are off to a good start banking on this quaint dead-end street. It is located off the beaten path of the already crowded, indeed saturated, graffiti ridden walls, sidewalks, fences, hell stand still for more than a minute you could get tagged in this hood. Across from La Tropical, and a stone throw from Oasis they complete the trinity of a damn good time. Love their ideas and with Work at the helm, this renaissance man just may turn Wynwood back to its glory days wheee people came to this area for the art.

Came here for a friend's birthday. First time at a paint n sip party. I really didn't know exactly…read morewhat to expect. It's a real small boutique with many items to sell. The area for the painting was kinda small. I noticed that my friend brought all the food, drinks & paper goods. The actual painting was fun- everyone did their own thing. Personally, I thought we would get more instruction. The easels were set up with different color paint nearby & we choose our size canvas. We did have a picture to work with. To inspire us. Final thought- I did enjoy the experience, however I'm not completely sure I would do it again.
