It was also strange that they called my emergency contact when I didn't answer a text asking about a Feb reservation. And I mean with 2 hours of the text being sent. Emergency contacts are not for reservation confirmation. I found this to be a bad judgment call. We won't be back. And we told them this so maybe that's the reason for the passive aggressive behavior? Anyways I'm not thrilled with the care my pups received.

We have been seeing Dr. Winfrey with our dog for 6 years or so…read more Most of the time, we've had routine shots and check ups but we have had a couple instances where we had more serious problems from an infection on her foot to inpatient stays. The care our dog was given, the clear directions I received for follow up care or questions and the very reasonable prices make me a huge fan. We've always been able to be squeezed in for more immediate issues as well. In 2017 our dog was attacked and nearly killed. I brought her in wrapped in a towel and covered in blood. She stayed at the clinic for 3 days before they were confident enough to even tell us that she should have a good chance of surviving. She had 30 staples on her face and I couldn't even count how many where on her belly and sides. I was frantic and second guessing their choices in her care, even calling other vets to get ask questions, but the staff at Brown Vet Clinic were kind and helpful. The one thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars was when I did come in after a quick call to let them know we were coming with our dog, I had to sit in the waiting room for a few minutes before we could get her back to a room. So I had our dog, bleeding and nearly dead, wrapped in a towel on my lap with 3 young children in tow. I don't know if the staff didn't realize the situation but that was the only issue I've had with the clinic. Overall, I highly recommend this vet and plan to always bring our animals here.

She told me they couldn't take me in at 9:00 but could See me at 1:30 so I agreed to that appointment. I took him there at 1:30 that afternoon when I got there, they said that I didn't have appointment scheduled, I told them I made the appointment at 9 o'clock that morning! And they responded very rudely and disrespectfully saying that they don't start appointments again till 2:00! Someone in the office scheduled that appointment but didn't have the integrity to say that they were wrong im a retired veteran in the area! Served 21 year with the United States Army Band!!! I called and asked for an appointment the next day for my Goldendoodle puppy, due to her (the person that helped me, I cannot remember her name, I believe it to be the owner. ) being in Rolla and having a vet appointment the same day. I did not think that I would be able to get an appointment due to it being so last minute. However she stated she would make it work and then told me to bring my puppy in right after the appointment. I was very nervous about having my puppy groomed due to it being my puppies and I first time at a groomers, and not being sure how good she would look after the fact. I showed up after the vet appointment and met with her, very friendly staff and they recommenced me how short I should get her hair, as it being my first time, I was not sure what would look the best so I asked for their professional opinion. I left my puppy with her and left, returning a bit later. When I returned at 5 P.M., which is closing time for the store, she told me that it would be around 6:30 pm, due to it taking a little longer than expected. She was still very nice when I spoke to her, even though she was staying after due to me trying to schedule an appointment last minute. So I left and returned a short time later. I arrived at the store at 6:30 P.M. and seen she was still cutting my puppies hair, I did not want to enter the store and cause my puppy to get excited and make her job worse, so I sat in my car and watched. Even though my puppy was being very puppy like, she never got frustrated with my puppy. When she appeared to be done, I went and got my puppy. Even though she was an hour and a half after hours due to my last minute planning, she was very nice and professional. I will defiantly be returning to her and would recommend her to anyone that is skeptical on which groomer they should pick for their puppy or older dog. The best price and experience I could ask for!

I actually had the pleasure of working beside her when I was in college, and it's a big reason why she's the only one I trust with my big boy. She is a phenomenal groomer and has so much patience for her customers. She would NEVER harm a dog, and is awesome with all breeds and all sizes. Her location has an open floor which is awesome because it allows customers to see her work and earn her trust. My pup LOVES her and it's nice to be able to trust he will be taken care of. This is a family owned business and her husband and daughter are also highly involved, so expect to see them around! I wish I could bring her with me to St. Louis, but instead I'll just keep recommending her to all my friends and convince everyone else in Rolla why Sarah is literally the best Groomer.
