I've had dental hygienists that I've felt at times were vampires. Now granted some bleeding is be expected when they're removing tartar that's close to the gum line and they've really gotta scale the tooth area to remove all traces of residue. I was greeted at the front desk warmly and the office itself is very nice and welcoming. I was taken on a brief tour of the facility, so I felt really familiar and more like family. Even being new there was a really great mood and atmosphere, among staff and clients. They had some lovely photograph books of Italy and Sea life that I enjoyed viewing while my hygienist prepped the room. It's very state of the art and I saw professionals working on making crowns, and implants through the viewing glass. I noted the sterilizers and disinfecting station, and working in the operating room as a surgical technologist I was very pleased with how things are done from a patient safety and sterility point of view. I took advantage of a Groupon deal because I no longer have dental insurance. They couldn't have been nicer or more kind and compassionate in my quality of care. The hygienist Melissa took her time cleaning my teeth. They even offer aromatherapy and neck pillows. I mean I'm a no fuss kind of person, but if you are nervous or stressed you'll likely benefit from this complimentary perk! The cleaning was great, I felt comfortable and my hygienist was personable and pleasant. You just know she loves what she does and enjoys caring for people. I felt like I was family from the time I walked through the doors. I even got my teeth polished and I'm always amazed at that because it makes you feel amazing! Like my teeth were going out to the Grammy Awards or something. Dr.Hernandez couldn't have been nicer or more professional and he's very down to earth easy to relate to with excellent bedside manner. I had a small cavity and he took the time to show it to me in the mirror. Very patient but I'm glad he did. I am returning to take care of it this week. Great place I'd return in a heartbeat.

Appointments are very easy to get, prices are in line, receptionist is warm and friendly and of course we love our hygienist. One of the great things is the Dr. here will work out a plan for you on your future care with each issue tackled based on priority and affordability. I have never had a dentist take that approach. I have gone to other dentist who want to drill where there is no cavity. (It happens. Another dentist explained that sometimes unscrupulous dentists "...have a Mercedes payment due.") Other Doctors I could tell simply wrote me off, not telling me about work I need because they supposed I could not afford it. With a plan now, I know that over time I can afford to maintain and actually keep my teeth as I mature. If your dentist seems like he's rushing from room to room, not bothering to take the time talk to you about your dental health and it's importance to your overall well being, it's time for a change.
