My family and I came here for the first time last night and we were really impressed. First off this is an adorable little shop. The young lady that served us was so kind and helpful, and also really patient as we were trying to decide what we wanted. They had so many options, it was he's to choose! We ended up getting bread pudding with maple butter sauce, peach cobbler, flourless chocolate peanut butter cake, a birthday cupcake, and my daughter got a scoop of ice cream. All of that was only $23! We got home and had the peach cobbler, and bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be making this our "go to" spot for sweet treats. read more

Brianne was an absolute joy to work with! We hired her to make our wedding cake and cupcakes, and everything turned out beyond amazing. Her baked goods are not only incredibly delicious, but also beautifully presented--we received so many compliments on both the taste and the look of the cupcakes. From the start, Brianne was kind, responsive, and genuinely excited to be part of our big day. You can tell she puts her heart into her work, and it truly shows. She's reasonably priced, super talented, and just an all-around wonderful person. Honestly, any review under 5 stars would be a mistake--Brianne is a star and we'd hire her again in a heartbeat for any event. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Small owned cupcake business. I've only been to this small business 4 times. Ima make this a short review. I made a special order and I wanted to purchase extra on the day of pickup. The young lady asked me to call the day before so they could make extra for the window. I call the day before my party and a different young lady says that I need to pay. (But they don't know the items I want) They offer to make me an assortment. (I kindly declined) The mother of the small business with a stale/stern (she must have thought she was going to deal with someone unruly) tone informs me that if I order in abundance that they won't have anything in the window which would be a disadvantage for them. (Strange you'd think that they'd want to sell out) In the end I just said I'll take my original order and nothing extra. I did not feel like my needs were met, which is a shame. I really wanted to use their small business. This strange interaction has left me puzzled. I did exactly what was asked of me and now no one wins. Thank you for taking the time to read this. read more

Loved the decor/atmosphere, and the friendly young gal behind the counter. First time in store and she was so helpful. Got the pumpkin caramel macchiato for $3.50 plus tax. I mean really?? Only $3.50 for a delicious gourmet cupcake. And there were so many yummy looking flavors. It was delicious just like I knew it would be and moist not dry. It was decorated simply but beautifully. Hubby and I went to park and split it to share. Thank you. I will be bringing my granddaughters back soon. read more

I ordered a cake for my wife's college graduation. The ordering process was very simple and they were quick to respond with information. The cake itself was so amazing. The cake part was so moist and tasty and the icing was light and not super sugary. I ordered the 9" and had 25 people have really big pieces and all enjoyed it. 100% would recommend! read more

I have been using Carolina's Cupcakes for the last couple of years and they never disappoint. They have made amazing accommodations for me and never shy from the challenge. I once asked for a dairy free version of a cookie kit, not only did they make it happen, but it tasted amazing and made a fun Christmas activity for a 3 year old. I also wanted to surprise my husband with his favorite cupcakes, red velvet, and asked a couple days in advance if they would be on the menu. Knowing that the menu changes daily, I was willing to pay for a special order. Instead, they made to sure to add them to the menu for that day so I could get them. I'm always greeted with a smile and leave with a smile. So thankful to have this business so close and so glad it's a fan favorite for the house. read more

Absolutely love this place! Good good good! Easily my favorite local place to grab sweet eats!

This place is a gem!! My husband and I stopped by this bakery almost everyday we were in town. The service is top-notch as well, so friendly. If you're in town, you must check out the flavors of the day. If you're not in town, they are awesome taking phone orders and having it delivered locally, especially if you have a loved one at Cherry Point. read more

Best cake in our area!! Great people who actually bake from the heart and you can taste it too! Love the little shop. Always clean and bright! They don't only have cupcakes, they have other baked goods and ice cream!! Great service! Very warm! read more

By far the worst cupcakes I've ever had. They were rock hard and the icing was so thick I couldn't get my fork through it. Ended up throwing away 1 1/2 of the two I got. Not to mention the young girl who sold them to me was not the nicest. Definitely will not go back. I'll just drive to morehead for happy cakes from now on. read more

My daughter was getting married in Atlantic Beach & being from out of town we were not familiar with the area at all. Based on Carolina's Cupcakes website & reviews I decided to use them. I ordered several dozen mini cupcakes in an assortment of flavors to serve at the reception along with the wedding cake. The girl who took my order was very friendly & helpful. The frosting was piped on in different designs & swirls- making them SO pretty! And they were absolutely delicious! The cake was moist. They were exactly the right amount of sweet & you could taste the quality ingredients used like the butter, the chocolate, coconut! And the red velvet was the best I'd ever tasted- that frosting was amazing! Thank you Carolina's- your cupcakes were a hit with our guests! I would highly recommend them for any occasion or event or if you're just craving something sweet! read more

Cupcakes were amazing, and the customer service was even better! I'm so glad we finally made it in. It's a new family favorite! :)

Let me just say this, I LOVE CUPCAKES!!! I love them!!! I want to try all of them haha but really, not only is Carolina's Cupcakes delicious, the owner is simply amazing!! She takes the time on her fb page to interact with her customers and asks us what flavors we would like to see in the shop. Then, she will do her magic and make them happen!! I have yet to taste anything other than cupcakes, but she will make muffins, banana bread, cookies, and brownies and they all look amazing!! I love the location too, it's kinda in the middle of Havelock. If you have time, be sure to stop in and grab a few goodies! My favorite is cookie dough and wedding cupcake!! read more

I made a Yelp account just to post a comment about Carolina cupcakes. I've had a lot of cupcakes in my life (I have two kids, so countless birthdays) and Carolina Cupcakes has the absolute BEST cupcakes. Probably in the world. I don't even like frosting and whatever they do over there is magic. I had a French toast cupcake today (which lead me to making the Yelp account) and it was delicious. The frosting was sweet and salty and melted in my mouth and the cake was fluffy and moist. If actual French toast tasted like this, I would eat it more often. You guys are amazing! read more
