Dr. Brannon's research, which is well documented in his books, is indisputable. Two weeks after my first pellet placement in October 2020, my physical and emotional health, and my quality of life improved significantly and dramatically. I was depressed, sad, moody, fatigued and riddled with body aches and pains. Pellets address every single awful malady that I was experiencing. The office is conveniently located with easy parking and great hours. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I recommend Optimal Bio without reservation. You owe it to yourself to feel your best and to enjoy your life! I'm 71 years old.

Looks like 2 pellets were placed just below the skin. One broke almost immediately and was partly removed by staff. However an open wound persisted and another pellet popped out. The wound tract has not closed and has been open and discharging on my glute for over 5 weeks. I have not been able to exercise and have lost muscle and endurance due to the inactivity. Optimal Bio has done little to rectify the situation. I am still wearing gauze on the wound to catch discharge and hopefully keep it from getting infected. I am quite dissatisfied with the level of care and may just go to my primary care to address before it gets infected . When Dr Brannon was alive I don't think this would have happened but since he passed I feel like this complication due to a botched placement is just kind of ignored. It really makes me question whether the pellets are still the way to go

Angela is a treasure trove of knowledge. Her questions immediately made me know that she knows her 'stuff.' She is SO likeable! I was immediately comfortable with her. Angela told me her plan for me, and she provided me with every bit of information that I needed from prep to fee to after care. Finally, in late January my laser resurfacing appointment arrived. I was SO excited to take this first step in a three step regimen Angela had developed for me. I'm including pix of me with numbing cream applied just before the procedure, the ice pack that is applied after the laser, me in my car approximately 30 minutes post procedure, the next morning, and a few more if Yelp lets me. In short, the procedure was not painful or uncomfortable. Angela and I had agreed that she would be aggressive with the laser: I am a 'go big or go home' person. The after care instructions and products were superb. Five days post procedure, I could see huge improvement in the fine lines and wrinkles on my face and neck. I recommend Angela without reservation. She is a learned, informed professional who is a true talent in her profession. The office is centrally located in Raleigh's Village District. Parking is super convenient. The office is spotlessly clean and gorgeous. The receptionist is helpful and very friendly both on the phone and in person. There is no hard sell of any of the products they carry which is SUCH a relief after some places J have been. I am eager to take the next step in the regimen Angela has planned for me. My husband and I are thrilled with the results! I feel so confident and happy that I look my best, and that is Angela's objective. I'm so pleased that I took the first step and booked an appointment with Angela.

Dr Jeffrey seems to prey on the wallets of people in pain that have little hope. Read on to see…read morewhy. The staff there is awesome though. Casey was fantastic btw. I received a coupon to get an evaluation at Raleigh Spine Clinic. I met Dr. Jeffrey and had a consultant with him. I brought my MRI with me. I have severe compression with a herniation at L5/S1. At that point I had a burning pain in both my knees from the compression. Dr. Jeffrey talked to me about how decompression would fix MY situation and gave me a whole packet on it. He said that too many people go straight to surgery rather than decompression. He quoted that 98% of people do not need surgery and decompression fixes them. It also said, that this is not one of those situations where you have to do treatments forever. He said that 8 weeks is all I would need to be healed. He claimed that decompression gently pulled apart the spine and rehydrated my disc enough for it to heal completely. It did help while I was doing it, but I ended up having to take a week off (to go out of town)and the pain came back. Essentially, you do get temporary relief because it increases the space in the vertebra. But, that doesn't last long. He said my issue while I was out of town was because of the hard bed I was sleeping on. So, I went back to the decompressions. When I reached the end of my total sessions I still wasn't good. So, he extended my sessions. Still no fix. He called me his problem child. After that he said we would have to do maintenance, which costs me another $1700. But, he claimed at the beginning it was one and done. Seemed like I was taken advantage of. I came back for my final consult with Dr Jeffrey and brought a new updated MRI. The MRI showed no change in the disc at all. Dr Jeffrey then said it takes 6 months for the disc to heal. I was never told that and you would think it it would have changed some. The decompression cost me $5000. I didn't have that kind of money lying around, so I had to pull it from my 401k. At this point I asked Dr Jeffrey for some money back and told him I pulled it from my 401k. He had no empathy and offered me 6 more decompression sessions. Throughout this whole experience I had consults to how I was progressing. Each time Dr Jeffrey told me I was progressing nicely and the pain is the last thing to go away. He should have stopped me midway and said this may not be working for me and giving me some money back. It has been about 3 months since I was at Raleigh Spine Clinic. I was hopefully the Dr. Jeffrey was being honest and it would take some time for the disc to heal. But, still the same. I have surgery scheduled next month. I know I am not going to get a refund for this and I don't expect to at this point. The only thing I can do is try and help someone by telling them the truth about Raleigh Spine Clinic and Dr Jeffrey and maybe helping them not waste their money. Next steps are to contact the BBB and WRAL to see if they will speak to me. This false hope and manipulation needs to stop.

Never examined my rash or felt around my stomach to figure out where exactly the pain was coming from. We did agree to do blood work, but she would not let me know which blood tests she wanted to order and the cost for each. She just wanted me to show up and have blood vials taken--could be 1-5 vials. Who knows! I said this was not acceptable and that I wanted to know what tests were going to be performed and the cost. They said they could only tell that to me the morning of the blood draw. I said, nope...I would like to know ahead of time so I have time to research each test and decide which ones make sense to me. They finally agreed they would call me in a few days with this information. They NEVER did!! They called, but it was to schedule my follow-up appointment for a few months from then. They also ordered some kind of sleep test for me without my approval, which of course I would then have to pay out-of-pocket. I immediately cancelled the sleep test with the company. This is a money-making racket! They clearly don't care about patient care and cost to the patient. I will NEVER return!! Lastly, the front desk people are grumpy and unfriendly, and the place is dirty. Yuck!
