Update. I see the business owner commented asking me to contact the office. When all this happened, I did contact the office and the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude. I called back and got someone else who promised to have a manager reach out. I never heard from them. Also, not only was I not advised of the upcharge by the crew on site, they forged my signature on the work authorization for the cleanout which I saw when I received my invoice. I can't say enough good things about this company! We were getting the runaround from the first company we used and was without toilets for almost a week. I called them late on a Friday and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Had a technician to us on Saturday morning, came back out on Sunday and had us up and running in no time. We had Carolina Septic Pro from Concord NC inspect a septic pump that failed. They had installed a new Liberty pump 2 1/2 years earlier except now the pump was no longer working. They said the pump had failed and that we needed to replace it. They gave us a price for emptying the tank and replacing the pump for $1300. They would not offer and discount or honor any warranty on the pump claiming the pump only had a one year warranty. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told he was "out of the country". The woman handling customer service definitely needs definitely needs additional training in customer relations. We had another company come out and troubleshoot the problem finding the pump at the bottom of the septic tank was unattached to the pipe system. It turns out a blown 2A fuse in the control panel was the problem. read more

Needed my septic tank replaced after another company did the inspection and said it was in good shape, just had a cracked lid and one valve needed replacement. I bought the house and moved in, the next day the toilets were backing up. I called and spoke to Mary who was very patient and kind, and she got a truck out the next day to pump the tank. David came out and showed me the tank was in fact crumbling, which the other company somehow "missed," and after pumping showed me that it had a huge crack along the side. I was a little overwhelmed being a first time homeowner, who also never had septic before, and who was also juggling foundation repairs and other things, but David was amazing. He was so patient, went over the process and timeline, how to get a permit from the county, when they'd be able to schedule the replacement, and answered every single one of my questions. I got the permit and then had to go back and forth a couple times on the schedule -- mostly on my end trying to get the foundation work out of the way first -- and during this time I also spoke with Alex and Peter via phone and text. They were both great also -- friendly, knew who I was immediately when I said my name or the address, both very prompt about follow up when needed. I put it together later on that Peter is actually the owner as well. The two guys who came out to actually replace the tank were also great. I only got one of their names, Gage, I think, but both were friendly, polite, hardworking, and they had everything set up and working in no time. The inspector had them add a distribution box they weren't expecting (because she also had them move the new tank further away from the house than the old one had been) but they took it in stride and figured it out without charging me any extra than what we'd already agreed upon. Overall, because of their quality work, I don't think I'll need this company again for a while, but I'm not calling anyone else for my septic needs ever, I can tell you that. read more

I would highly recommend Carolina SepticPro of Concord Nc. I was having some back up in my guest house and when I called, the lady that made the appointment was very informative about prices. When the young man came he was on time and very knowledgable about my problems. He was able to pump and clear my drain-field, as well as, install risers for future pumping. This business, Carolina Septic Pro (CSP) unscrupulously removed our Google review after the owner, Peter Vinci, responded with a libelous message that included claims that the county issued the wrong permit (not true) and that we have a meth lab on our property (even after we were searched and it was determined he made a false report). He also fabricated fake email addresses and posted false reviews on our company's Google site, despite having never been a customer. We are posting this in hopes that other humans in this world aren't treated the way we were. BEWARE! My husband's father passed away in January from cancer and we inherited his property that needed a good bit of work. The septic system was one of the main hurdles. We hired CSP on 3/1/22 to install a septic tank and drain field per the county issued permit which was a 25 percent reduction accepted system which requires standard size chambers per the infiltrator water technologies NC installation manual. We paid this company a total of 15,342.50 for septic tank and drain field installation. CSP installed low profile drain field chambers rather than standard, and what they installed failed inspection. They covered the system and told us everything was done on 3/11/22, so we paid them the balance due. On 3/14/22 we received a call from the county that they installed the wrong chambers, were not supposed to cover the system, and needed to have the proper chambers installed. Peter called us and assured us that they would get everything corrected and told us they would put seed and straw down after the work was corrected for the inconvenience of his company's mistakes, something he repeated in the presence of the county inspectors. He brought his aggressive pit bull on our property without our permission for the second pre construction meeting. The company did not come back out until 3/28/22 to begin corrections. At that point, the pace of work became very slow and sloppy. The workers left trash all over my yard, both personal and as a result of construction, so we messaged Peter pictures of the trash and the way his workers left our yard. At that point, Peter became very aggressive and combative and sent very vulgar, homophobic, graphic and threatening messages to my husband. He said he would call the cops and CPS to falsely report a meth lab on my property. He followed through with his threat and made a false report to harass us and defame our character (we consented to a thorough search of our property, as it was a false report and we have nothing to hide). He refused to communicate an accurate timeline for job completion with us. Peter is now saying he will not be putting seed and straw down because we sent him pictures of the trash his workers left. Today, 4/11/22, more than a month after CSP mistakenly installed the wrong chambers and after weeks of having our system open to the elements, his crew is on our property finally completing the job while being babysat by the Union County inspector. This job, if completed in a timely manner and with the proper staffing and equipment onsite, should only have taken a couple of HOURS, according to Union County. My husband had to personally move the trash that was strewn throughout our yard for two weeks onto their dump trailer. The workers had to use our tools to finish the job as they came unprepared without any shovels or rakes on their truck. At the end of this all, Peter is threatening our family with a lawsuit (for what we aren't exactly sure as we paid his company in full and fully held up our end of the contract), and in return we were treated in ways that would be inappropriate in any arena. This company should not be in business. We have an incredible amount of documentation to prove everything we are saying is true. This whole situation and the way we have been treated by this owner has made the loss of my husband's father even worse and has caused much mental anguish. read more

I should have read the reviews on here. I am $650 poorer by using this company and no closer to a solution. I bought a new house with a 20 year old septic. I wanted to get it "serviced" and checked out. The tech pumped out the pump tank, not the septic. Didn't dig it up, or inspect it, and didn't attempt to find the D-Box. Charged me $500 to pump a 1500 gallon tank. Told me all my equipment was fine (it's not...) Then a few weeks later I have a terrible smell. Notice excessive moisture on the lawn. Call them out, they say "sorry it's a wastewater issue, you have a leak, and we can't touch it, call the county inspector and we need to charge you $150, because we came out.) That rubbed me wrong, but I paid it like a fool. Then the inspector comes and tells me they didn't even dig up the septic tank, the issue might be at the D-Box, the alarm doesn't work, and where they told me my field was, was in the wrong place. I called the owner with the county inspector on the phone - he wouldn't take responsibility and just defended himself instead of offering solutions or admitting his guys didn't do an adequate inspection the first time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, find someone else - learn from my $650 mistake. read more

Updating my review finally. They called me a year after service out of the blue to demand I pay them a $200 fee. The fee was because their guys came out and couldn't find out tank. During that initial visit they called someone (who I assumed was a manager or owner) they said they'd waive the fee. All was fine and they serviced our tank and we paid in cash. Then we get a call a year later about the fee. I was shocked and explained the situation. I remembered bc I was shocked and really appreciative of the fee being waived. The lady on the phone was unbelievably rude and short. She said to me "so your refusing payment!?" To which I basically said I wasn't bc I didn't owe anything. She then said "we'll don't ever call us for service again!" And hung up on me. Yikes. read more

We've used them several times before with no problem. Last time, they only pumped the liquid side of the chamber even though I asked about having the other side pumped. I had someone come out because I wanted to have my tank emptied, wasn't having any problems just wanted to be pro active. The old man watched them and they claimed there was a hole in it and they couldn't empty. Once they took my 150 dollars, and left the old man says you know I saw them yank back to pull a root out with that machine and it appears that is what caused the whole. When he called to talk to someone, she was VERY rude and defense talking over him, telling him nice try and very defensive, and hung up on him. I then attempted to call myself and asked for the owner, I was told he would get back to me, when he hadn't by end of day I called back. The woman who answered this time told me he is unavailable, not sure what that means as she wasn't saying much else, but as I voiced my concerns, she became VERY arrogant, talking over me, snapped when i asked a question several time because she wasn't answering it etc. The company I am having come look at it now, because of on top of what we believe was that machine causing the hole, they wanted to charge me over 5 grand to replace it, this other company knew right away the name of this company and has stated they had to fix issues before. As a crafter who also may sell items, if a customer has a concern, I would hear them out and investigate it , not become defensive and argumentive. The company should have had someone come and look at what occurred, and a trained eye would have known what happened. I am 57 yrs old and I have NEVER dealt with such unprofessional folks in my life! So now i have to decide on whether to go to court or bite the expensive for damage it very much looks like they caused. I am not rich, and i would think that at the least this company would have sent someone out to look at it and investigate, rather then have to deal with defensive nasty receptionist who basically yelled over the phone at me "I don't know" when i asked three times if she was telling me there is no way they caused that damage with that machine while digging. After Carolina Septic Pro came out to my property I felt confident from the knowledge this company and the workers gave me. After they performed a septic inspection as well as a pump out for real estate purposes they they recommended a rejuvenation package that was completed. I would give a negative ten if possible. They tried to get us to replace pump at whopping cost of $2000, yes two thousand, more than double what anyone else would charge. And for an extra $1500 would warrant for 5 years. Our house is 5 years old and the pump is fine per a different company. They were also going to return to finish pumping. New guy says its done so they probably meant to return and use our tank to dump some other homes waste. Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call these people the NC Attorney General is after them. read more

Contacted Carolina Septic Pro and they were here within 2 days. Anthony and Randy were very professional and with a little digging with their state-of-the-art equipment found the problem. Not only did they find the problem(terracotta piping) they also pumped out my tank and pricing was very reasonable for what was done. They advised me to contact my County Health Inspector for an assessment. I had the unfortunate experience of learning the leadership of this company does not act in an ethical manner, and does not hold to its word. As for service, they seem to be newbies trying to learn the trade. I had two tanks to pump - a large and a small. One tank required a pull of 90 feet of hose to reach, but the operator chose to drive his heavy truck across our walkways and buried the truck deep in our landscaped area. Six hours later, they extricated the truck, leaving me with a muddy, torn up lawn. They had no time to pump the smaller tank, but Randy promised to return and pump the second tank for $250, and he shook on the deal. On Jan 16, they did not show for a 1:00 appointment, but re-scheduled for 11 am on Jan 17th. Another no show. A second day wasted. When I called, the receptionist told me they wanted $400 to pump my small 500 gallon tank, due to the length of hose they needed. Randy knew from the first visit exactly how much hose was needed, because we walked the distance together with a measuring wheel. I sent a picture of Randy's note with the promise to pump for $250 to the receptionist, and asked to have him call me, but no call was forthcoming..I called a company that had pumped this tank previously, and they agreed to come the next day for $175. This was successful. I will not be using Carolina Septic "Pro" in the future. read more

On 11/6/19 Carolina Septic Pro was hired to pump my Septic tank. upon looking at the tank, the person said that the tank was over full and needed extra pump service. The initial quote of $300 would now be $450. After about 25 minutes of working they were done. They collected their $450 and left. On 1/9/20 (2 months later), my HOA did their semi annual inspection on my tank through the company they use. They found that the tank needed to be pumped. At first I questioned this as i spent $450 only 2 months prior to have it pumped...EXTRA. They offered to come out and re-inspect free of charge while i watched and saw the levels. They were very good in explaining where the level should be and where they should have been. It was indeed still above levels. When i contacted Carolina Septic Pro i was sent to an answering service where i left a very distinct message that i wanted my money back immediately. The next day a woman called me and i explained the situation. I sent her the report so she could verify that this was indeed the case. I received a call from Pete who was extremely combative and arrogant in approach. I explained to him that the crew that came to my house did not perform the work that was paid for. He became adolescent in tone and as well as demeaning and aggressive. He stated that he would not refund my money as they did perform the service. They may have motioned to perform the service but absolutely didnt. Pete never made an attempt to come to inspect the claim or send anyone on his behalf. I reviewed his company on Google and he then began to bombard my cellphone with text messages further mocking my complaint. i called the business again on 1/31/20 to further pursue my refund. I spoke with a lovely woman who was appalled after i explained my experience at peters demeanor towards me. I explained that all i wanted was a refund so that I could actually get the work properly done. She assured that she would discuss this with Peter. After further speaking with her, I found out that she was his Mom. She was obviously embarrassed that her son would treat a customer in that manner. I thanked her for her help. I received a call 30 minutes later from a private number and was again attacked verbally by Peter. He made threats and hung up on me. The text messages in the past were abrasive and demeaning, but calling my home to threaten me, crossed the line. This company should NOT be a part of any accreditation class. They are thieves and bully's to those that catch them in their scam. They did not do what they said they would and then badgered me when confronted with it. Do NOT call these people unless you are 100% sure of where your septic tank is located! I paid $150 (half of quoted pumping price) for them to come out and tell me they didn't have tools/skill to locate it. I purchased an older home and I thought I knew where tank was, but the technician said it could not be located there. He poked around around with his rod and told me to call a plumber with a camera probe to locate it and to call them back and they could deduct this from the next visit. He seemed very confident in this and knowledgeable so I wrote the check. I got verification that the tank was located exactly where I thought it was so I called back. I was told that the $150 was a service fee and I would have to pay again. First of all, I should have been told this upfront; a service fee should not be half of the price. $75 would have been plenty...but instead I did the work and they did nothing. Now I have to either pay at least $450 plus what I paid to have it located. read more

Most dishonest people I have ever had experience with. They quoted us a price then when they came out they said a different price. They didnt not complete the work quoted charged $1200 to pump septic tank and thats it. They left my yard a mess open holes with exposed pipe in January cut my hose pipe in half broke my pool and did not do work quoted like installing a drain field filter but still charged us $1200 and were here an hour and a half. When i called the woman told me it would be 200 to pump tank and a worker would call me shortly with time of appointment when anthony called back to set time he said he would be there between 4 and 6 and it might cost 500 to pump if its difficult now price more than. Doubles i told him i thought the tank might be bad and to look at it before pumping and let me know of it was worth fixing or hooking to city sewer well he never showed up and text me his pump broke can he come tommorow i said ok next day he goes pumps it then tells me tank is broke he quoted 4500 for new tank i told him i would just connect to city sewer he said he could do that but it would be more expensive little did he know have already had several quotes well under 4500 well then he got angry and said he was gonna turn me into city and all this and pumped the shit back in my tank and overflowed it in my yard and all over side of house and on ac unit and called me a faggot and all kinds of things guys just a fast talking crook dont do buisness here! read more
