The age of the roofs on the property is unknown and always being concerned for ANY leaks, I immediately got into Yelp to put out a project request to find a roofer. Storm Damage responded right away on a Sunday and was able to meet the next day to give an onsite estimate. Given the steep roofline of the barn house style roofing and immediate need given another upcoming storm, the quote was definitely reasonable. Given the short notice and upcoming weather, they put a tarp across the roof to prevent anymore leaking. At the first break in the weather 2 days later, they were on it and got to work. It's a tight area around the unit, so giving a heads up to my neighbors was important. That said, they cleaned up all debris on my side and my neighbors as if they were never there! Huge!!! I have a roof on the main property and a permanent shed left to do. I will be sure to call them back for the next jobs. Thank you guys!!!

I recently noticed a crack in one sash (manufacturing issue - no fault of Triad Installations!) and Paul was out that day to take measurements and coordinate a replacement sash through the warranty program. While delivering and installing the replacement sash, Paul even helped fix a strip of siding that had pulled off during a recent storm! Truly great service with every interaction.

When we met with Paul owner and then with his workman, they both said they could build the deck according to the plan. So we signed the contract. But then the workman showed up with the lumber already purchased, without a copy of the plan. They built a deck that did not match the plan. We paid them in full. We met with the supervisor and he agreed that it was not according to plan. We told them to just remove the deck and we would get someone who can build according to contract. They would not even do that. Our remedy is to go to court.

The project started first of April should have been finished in two to three weeks by their estimate. The room was complete with a few areas of touch up needed the first week of June. I never heard from the owner until July 4th and he finally made his way out second week of August two review the work, now as we head into September 11,2025, we are getting the project wrapped up. It would be very difficult to recommend a company whose owner does not care about your project, honestly, I am not sure if I hadn't made calls and threats, we would have ever gotten the room complete. Total incompetence and unless you have a lot of patience you should shy away from this company.

Hartness Home Improvements, a company to avoid by all means!…read more We signed a contract with Hartness Home Improvements in September 2018 to build an addition to our house including a new deck. A deposit of 1/3 of the total project cost was made to Mr Jerry Hartness. The project was supposed to start immediately and finish before Thanksgiving, but It never took off. Mr Hartness took the check and just disappeared. We tried to contact him several times by email and phone and every time he gave us false promises and sometimes lies. In December he finally came by our house and after a discussion on how to move with the project, he asked for more money to be able to continue. We were shocked that he could ask for more money as at that point the only thing he had done was to tear down the old deck and partially regrade the yard! This should not have cost not even 1/3 of the money he received from us. Obviously, we refused to give him more money and he ran way, and we never heard from him again. We contacted him several times to give us our money back, but he ignored our messages. I guess the only option left to us is the court!
