Professionally operated and the staff keeps things moving along. Only lost 1 star for the lousy website to reserve a lane - but hands down this is the best place to go if you can't shoot in your own back yard.

They have a finicky website you need to use to make a reservation, but it's not too hard to figure out. The range is also not fully heated or cooled, so you need to dress accordingly. But I thoroughly enjoy going to this range.

He is patient, kind, and well informed. I took his class while pregnant and he worked with me to get back to the range and make sure I was confident with my weapon. In his class everyone was treated with respect and every question was answered tactfully and honestly. If you're looking for training or a CC permit class, this is your man! Thank you for everything, Jon!

On October 19, 2019, I attended Jon's class and spent 10 hours as required. I passed the written…read moretest with 100% correct and passed the field test. At the end of class, he stated that he did not have our certificates and he would mail them by the next Wednesday. I tried contacting him and he finally texted me on Oct. 30 stating that he received the certificates on Monday October 28, 2019 and he mailed them on Oct 29, 2019. Since this time, I have sent 5 text messages, 4 emails and left numerous phone messages. He refuses to answer or respond to any of them. I called the Apex police dept. where I believe he said he worked and they told me he hasn't worked there for ten years. Today is December 6, 2019 and I haven't heard from him or received my certificate. I believe that I have been scammed. I purchased a voucher through Groupon and will try to post this message there also. Beware of this company.

The premise here is to use modules that fit into real weapons giving you real feedback without real ammo. 100% safe. When you pull the trigger a laser fires from the module, and CO2 cycles the weapon. Nice! NO CLEANING after a day at the range. One can also see one's performance level and diagnose issues in aim, reaction, etc. They have tons of scenarios from plain target shooting at different distances to self-defense scenarios to a full-out ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE (MY FAVORITE). The facility is very nice! It is temperature controlled, light controlled, and the screens are bright and crisp to display the "targets". You can shoot individually or in teams. The staff and owner (Ted) are very professional and friendly. You can just "go-wild" hunting zombies or bad guys, or get assistance from the staff on becoming a better shooter. There is a good restaurant co-located for snacks and such. For hot or rainy days, this IS the place to be. It's very popular, so make sure you call Ted or one of his crew before you go as their resources are limited. This is the closest you can come to military / police style training in million-dollar simulators, and other than 360* action, very little deviation. This is far less expensive than hundreds of rounds of ammo, cleaning costs, driving to a range, etc. Does it sound like this customer is addicted? I am!
