After I checked in I didn't have to wait very long to be called back. The technician who did my exam was wonderful and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. Unfortunately I had to have a diagnostic mammogram so I also had to have an ultra sound and speak with a doctor but it went smoothly and fairly quickly. I would recommend them for your care.

I just got the supposed code to be bill. Terrible customer service and care. No one asked my authorization to additional test if they did some more. No information was given to me. They just told me everything was ok. Well, this is unacceptable, I told them in advance I didn't want anything done if it wasn't covered bc I have enough bills after my husband's stroke.

This is far more than the 12 month pmt plan payment set up. Also fyi the of $500 pmt was with same card the pmt plan was set up with. How funny went through. I stated I wanted to continue with a pmt plan. 7/18 I receive another bill asking for full amt. I call my charge has not been charged. They stated my card was declined. I stated my credit card company said it was not charged. (FYI this card has no balance so there is no reason for it to be declined). I told the women i set up a pmt plan and please charge the card on file. She states there is no card on file anymore. I would have to set up the pmt plan again. I did ! Call on 7/21 pmt will only allow full pmt. I call they stated they would look into it. On 7/23 log on to their pmt portal because my card was not charged. Now the entire account is $0 balance and there is not even an account that shows pmt history or anything . My card was not charged either. i call the billing office they stated maybe it was sent to collections . What!!! Stay away from this company. They want full or no payment up front. They do not do pmt plans. Anyone who needs an MRI or any imaging go elsewhere. Reporting to BBB. Also look at reviews for other offices they are reporting the same fraudulent billing practices. Ive got breast cancer with two young kids. This company should not be allowed to treat their patients like this.

Went here for a CT chest scan on Friday, April 17th. I checked in with "Tita" who I'd previously…read morespoken to on the phone, and she is delightful-- cheerful, warm & very professional. Can't say much about the tech or "nurse" who conducted my scan. I had to ask nurse 3 times to move the pillow so it supported my head, not my upper back (which had me gagging). She told me at a certain point she would give me a shot of contrast, and when she did it really HURT -- she is no Phlebotomist! I developed a black & blue mark at the site, and it's still sore four days later! Tech asked if was allergic to iodine, and I didn't really know but told her I was allergic to shrimp (lots of iodine). Tech said they had a "way around that, whatever that meant. Also, I had the impression the tech would be communicating with me throughout the procedure. Instead, there suddenly was this pre-recorded LOUD male voice barking "breath in, hold breath, breath out, breath. . . .";, i.e. no human contact. Thankfully the scan took only 5 minutes -- a LONG 5 minutes! When it ended the tech wheeled me out to the waiting room where my husband was. I was given no piece of paper with what to expect after receiving the scan, especially that contrast dye! I had to do all the post procedure research myself on-line, and that's where I found out why I was so horribly exhausted, stomach aching & dizzy. Making matters worse, I called yesterday to ask who would be reviewing my results there. This receptionist (named Adrienne) bluntly answered "I don't know". I asked her if she could find out, and her answer was "All I can do is print out your results, and you can come pick them up, bring your ID. I just wanted off the call and to see what she printed. Husband stopped there to run in to get them a couple hours later. He forgot her name, but one receptionist was not there (I'm guessing Adrienne). He said to Tita there should be a printout of my CT results for me (he brought my I.D.). Tita looked everywhere for them, there was no printout to be found, so Tita printed them. If it weren't for Tita I don't think I'd have a positive thing to say about Carolinas Imaging Services, Ballantyne!

This was by far an amazing experience. I was extremely concerned because I am a few days shy of…read morebeing 36 weeks pregnant, and I was afraid that the Prenatal Picture wouldn't be able to do the ultrasound. However, they assured me it was still doable, it's just that there would not much room for the baby to move. When I got there, I just really enjoyed how warm and personable Mary was. She is hilarious, and I love her humor. She helps to put your mind at ease. Unfortunately my daughter due to her size and having hardly any room to move was covering her face just a tad bit with her arm. I was already at that point so excited to see her. I would have been okay if that was the best shot that I got. However, Mary was extremely patient and tried persistently with tiny little movements to capture a better shot of her face. She was extremely informative throughout the whole process. I was able to see her toes, her ears, her hair, and her beautiful face. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation, the time, and the amazing experience with Mary. For my future ultra sounds, I will definitely be going here again.

I have an appt." Still staring.... Ok??? She actually says "I don't know you? You're supposed to say your name" SHE ACTUALLY SAID THAT... I say "did you ask my name??" I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER return to this place. You already have anxiety because your boobs are about to get pressed into a machine. The words "mammogram" & "breast cancer" will scare easily. However, my second visit for the Catscan was a completely different experinece. From check in to post exam the staff and explanation of things was great. So, I figured I'd average the two appointments and give them three stars, but I really think they might be a two. The staff needs to work on being a little more patient with questions, and not so rude, and if they are running 20 - 30 behind I think they should tell patients upfront, as I scheduled this in between meetings, so would have been able to call someone and move things around.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The lady who ran the tests told me I did not need to go to the Monday appointment since she was doing the same thing. I checked my computer on Monday morning and the appointment for that evening had not been canceled. I called and finally got a live person on the phone. She said that I did need to go to the Monday appointment. I did go, checked in, and paid a copay. After waiting over an hour, I asked if they had forgotten me since others were coming in and leaving. I was told no. After more than an hour and a half, I went to the receptionist and told her I am a patient person, but something must be wrong. This time she agreed. After consulting with folks in the back and working on her computer, she said that I did not need this appointment since it was already done on Friday. I was super upset. First, with the lady on the phone who told me to go to the appointment, and with their system that let me check in for an appointment that I did not need. I also had to ask for a reimbursement of my copy which the lady did. If I have future needs from them, I will make sure not to go to this location.

However, when I texted to schedule or inquire about scheduling, the owner responded to me and then accidently sent me a text that was meant for someone else that read "Is she trying to jinx herself" with laughing faces. She was obviously making a miscarriage joke at my expense because she felt it was too early in the pregnancy for me to be trying to schedule the ultra sound. She then proceeded to send me in coherent text messages and pretend she did not know what was going on and ended the conversation with "sorry I'm having a bad day". I sent a very professional email to the company to let them know about this behavior. I never received a response or apology. I don't think it is ever okay to make a miscarriage joke especially if you know the pain of miscarriage. This hurt me so incredibly much and I would never allow these people to be involved in my pregnancy.
