I needed a last‑minute alteration for my daughter's prom dress, with a very tight timeline--she was leaving for Mexico and returning the night before prom. Carole kindly squeezed us into her schedule and, as always, did an absolutely amazing job. Over the years, Carole has altered two prom dresses and two wedding dresses for three of my daughters, and every single time her work has been flawless. Her craftsmanship is impeccable, her prices are more than fair, and she consistently goes above and beyond. I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed for my brother's wedding on August 10th. My dress came in late and I was panicking that D.B. (The huge chain bridal store) wouldn't get it altered in time. Especially if they couldn't even make sure my dress arrived on time. I messaged Miss Carole on messenger and explained my situation. She was able to get me in almost right away and she had my dress finished and ready to go within 4 days. I was very impressed. The price was very fair. I wish I had the extra money to give her a nice tip. But maybe when I do have the extra cash, I'll send it to her in a thank you card. She was very pleasant, her little shop was great. I love that she has her business at her home. When I went into try to finished product on, she came in and asked what I thought and she saw the smile on my face and I told her it was perfect and I knew it was going to be perfect because her reviews are wonderful. She was very pleased to know I was extremely happy with her work. If I could give her more than five stars, I absolutely would. I left my dress with her last Thursday (July 25th) and I picked it up on Monday the 29th (yesterday). For those of you who aren't sure whether you should go with her or not, please do. you will not be disappointed. She's had many many years of experience. I think she said about 60 years. My daughter and I have used Carole several times for Homecoming, Prom and a wedding guest dress. She is so sweet, patient and does awesome work!! She works very quickly too, the dresses are usually done within a week of when we dropped them off. We drive 40 minutes each way to see her, although there are people closer to us that could do the job, but we trust Carole! read more

I found Carole through Google, & am very happy I did! I had an old nightshirt of my dad's that I wanted to use to make into something for me & my sisters (our dad passed away, so wanted to make a memento using the material). I found some small pillows, & had Carole cover them. They turned out wonderful! She did a great job, & was really quick, finishing same day (luckily I caught her after she had just finished a project). She was VERY accommodating, allowing me to come early, & pick up after what would technically be after hours. If I could give a zero star, I would. I booked my appointment 2+ months before my wedding. She insisted that when she alters dresses that she only works on that dress so it'd take her 4 days to make adjustments. My appointment was set for 2 weeks before my wedding date. I was to have straps added, sides taken in, and a simple bustle added. After arriving to my appointment and Carol pinning me in (with straight pins), I changed back into my clothes and she tells me as I'm about to leave that she thinks my alterations are more than she expected and she's going to have to "bow out". When booking my appointment, I specifically mentioned all alterations needed and what my simple david's bridal gown entailed. If it hadn't been for altering my wedding dress, it wouldn't have been such a huge deal... But it was 2 weeks before my wedding day and I had waited 2 months for the appointment. If your alterations are important, I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

Carole hemmed my bridesmaid dress and it was perfect. She told me she was actually kind of busy at that point in the season (early August) but still had my dress done in about 5 days. She is also very kind and makes you feel comfortable in her office which is an extension of her home. I will go back! read more
