This place is great! Wouldn't have known it was there, if it wasn't for the big sign that points the way on the bus stop on the corner of Mt. Vernon & Cooley Dr. The people are very friendly and their jerky is great! My favorite is the Original Peppered Beef Jerky and the Applewood Smoke Style Bacon. But they have a big variety of flavors. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

OMG this place has some of the best beef jerky I've ever had in my life it's extremely fresh and has a great flavor every bag comes with a dental floss which is absolutely wonderful because if you eat beef jerky you know after you eat some you want to floss your teeth, they have great prices an great selection of products, they even have cool t-shirts the people there are very nice and welcome you with a smile my mom found this place years ago and we go back at least once a month to stock up, we also get their beef jerky for stocking stuffers and we love to give beef jerky as gifts to people who are like us and indulge in beef jerky I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys beef jerky.

I have been buying from Carnivore Candy since I first saw their cart in Downtown Disney, which, sadly, is no longer there. although it's been a couple of years since i bought from that cart, i have been buying online ever since. Their product is fantastic, always fresh and never disappoints, with many flavors and spices. But what they also have is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I recently ordered several bags, but the shipping addresses got mixed up, and it went to a former location of mine. I called them and spoke to someone once I realized the mistake, and they not only called me back to apologize, but they were kind enough to add a few extra complimentary bags. Being in Customer Service myself I totally appreciate what they did for me, keeping the customer first. Thanks to Rob, Jae, Jade and Sue. You folks rock, just like your products. Thanks folks!! This is some of the best jerky you can buy at really great value. They sell a wide variety of flavors at different levels of heat, my favorite being the honey pepper! The jerky they make is super tender with a good level of moister. All of the flavors I have tried were top notch, you're not gonna get dried out, tasteless, shoe leather. Be aware that this location is in an industrial business park, so it doesn't look like a store front, just look for the sign that says fresh jerky. Once you walk in, they have a clean atmosphere with a wall display of all the flavors they sell. You are greated with a warm inviting smile and they are super happy to help you select some good flavors. Awesome service to go along with a great product! This is definitely somewhere you need to visit if you are a fan of great jerky. 5 bags of jerky for $20 is a great deal! They do accept credit card, which is super convenient. I will be visiting here often! read more

I called in and was left on hold for over 10 mins. Then they hung up on me. I called back but again was put on hold for over 8 mins. this time and again I was hung up on. I just wanted to ask a question. Won't be buying from them anytime soon. Don't even deserve a 1 star as far as I'm concerned. This company makes Jerky like you have never tasted before. No other jerky compares. I can't pin point any one flavor, but the Hawaiian Pizza flavor is excellent. I personally eat way too much beef jerky. Honestly I like what they are trying to do. I've tried everything they have except the one with the reeper pepper in it. The product needs work though. I know it's $6.99 a bag which is fairly cheap for the bracket they are trying to play in. I just feel it's lacking. I don't want to bite into something and feel like I'm doing the cinnamon challenge. The bacon flavors are odd tasting but from a bacon stand point are damn near perfect if they ever tweak the recipes they will be awesome. read more

You know that jerky company that Bigfoot advertises for simply because their product has the same consistency as the sole of Bigfoot's Birkentstocks? Carnivore Candy is not that company. This is a family-run operation that gets its beef from select California ranchers, and, through some magical process (and a sprinkling of love) turns that meat into the most tender and flavorful jerky you can imagine. Stop imagining and buy some! Each bag contains delectable slabs of shrunken-head-steak-goodness. A few years ago when I first started buying my protein-pez from Carnivore Candy, they were working on perfecting some chicken jerky. Honestly, not my thing: if I want chicken jerky, I'll RSVP for a wedding reception dinner for some distant cousin. But then, the Boyd Family set to work on alcohol-infused beef jerky, creating one of my favorites: whiskey jerky! They told me each batch gets a whole fifth of top-shelf hootch. Booze and beef....only one B could make it better. And the Family did it: Bacon Jerky! And not just any bacon jerky, but Sriracha Bacon Jerky (and other flavors). Yes you will eat the whole bag at one sitting, so buy an extra. And today, when I stopped by to provision for an upcoming road trip, I got tripped out by Carnivore Candy's newest flavor offering: Smoky Sriracha Beef Jerky! Oh and they are now selling a totally cool tee shirt. With limited funds, I made the (not-at-all) hard decision to skip the shirt and buy more jerky! The Boyd Family is the Willy Wonka of meatfectionary. But don't take my word for it: heck you most likely don't even know me! Tell you what...buy some yourself and try it. This is a terrible company. That sacrifices the well being of their employees for their own greed and to keep their pockets full. They do not take care of their employees , treat them like dogs, pay them like shit, and punishes the wrong people. As long as you're cool with the bosses you can do whatever you want including but not limited to taking as many days off as you want, coming in as late as you wish. Please please please do not do not do not support this company as they are a bunch of crooks. Their methods for producing their products are not sanitary as thing are not kept clean unless the health inspector is there. They cut every corner they can. Do not support this company. read more
