Honestly, I don't know why this place has bad reviews. It's a perfect little middle eastern/Mediterranean market in the are. They have mostly everything I need for my Armenian household! Lavash bread, feta cheese, fresh greens, pickled vegetables, lebni, grape leaves and much more! I'm grateful for this business and will be returning often! Also, for those who say the workers are rude..they're not. Sure, they may be a little serious but by no means rude. read more

I went on 2/13, ask for chicken quarter, the person reached under table and filled bag instead taking leg quarters from fridge display. Then I placed order for two pieces of beef boneless shank, the person gave me a bag with 4 pounds of meat. Today I decided to cook the beef and behold I was give something else for $29. Very dishonest and extremely poor level of service. I will never visit your business again!!!! read more

I love supporting the local Economy and seeing diversity. I worked in the area and this place stood out to me because sometimes a girl wants something cultural and had some time to kill. It had its typical ethnic groceries of Mediterranean necessities like meat and produce, however my necessities at that moment was something sweet and sugary. I'm one of those girls who spent 50 bucks on candies and chocolates so I stocked up on goodies that I know are imported that I will not find at the local American grocery store. And that's exactly what the guy at the counter said to me "you bought 50 dollars on candy". Possibly because I'm not the usual customer whom bought things conveniently like an extra pound of meat, a tomato to complete a dinner salad, or tobacco products. My visits were probably in 2018-2019 however I plan to return to purchase more candies in the future. read more

Excellent feta cheese, Sele black olives are some of the best! This market is great. Friendly staff. Store is packed with goods so aisles are narrow but I'm not complaining. I love this place. Produce is always nice. I like trying the different yogurts too. Definitely check it out. Worth it for the better price and quality of the feta alone. read more

RUDENESS ALERT! I was referred there by my financial institution for cash back or fee free ATM use so when I asked the guy behind the counter he was extremely RUDE and said no I couldn't get cash back even if I bought something or to use an ATM. I know it's great to shop small business but DANG!!! You're better off buying from stater bro's or wal mart in that area to get cash back at least those employees will probably speak to you nicely!!!! read more

Best meat (Chicken-Mutton-Beef) in town. Mohammad is the best butcher in town. Very helpful and polite. He's good at whatever kind of meat you want. Highly recommend this place. If you go there always ask for Mohammad (He's the Best). read more

I called looking for sheep's milk feta which they had but I had another question a sad one, I told the man that " I'm white, I'm Christian, I don't wear a scarf but I do wear a cross, would it offend you if I shop in you're store?" He graciously told me "you are my sister, come shop" I cried because another market Red Tomatoes treated me so bad yesterday, everyone was so rude and checking out my groceries we thrown into bags in a bad way, it left me shocked and hurt and my husband said we won't go back. The years roll by and Cooley's market in Colton, CA still remains. I use to frequent this spot in the 90's when they didnt card for cigarettes. There was even a band called Cooley's Market back in the day. Now I stop by when Im in the area for Middle Eastern food and delicacies. Family owned market with spices, vegetables, Halal and slections of meat not typically found at other places. read more

Perfect little market if you need some Mediterranean / Middle Eastern essentials. Their produce looked very fresh, and stocked well. The most important things I found were: Lahmajune pizzas, canned grape leaves in 3 brand varieties, fresh dill, and feta cheeses. Overall it's a great little corner store that was well stocked with a little bit of everything! Thanks for being in buisiness! Otherwise I'd have to drive to Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont or LA for my dolma making ingredients and my Lahmajune pizza addiction. read more

The mom and pop store was well kept and clean. The folks who work there are friendly and fast. The produce is fresh and their meat selection looks promising. Came in for a few odds and ends for a soup and got inspired by all of the spices. Will be returning soon to see what else I can try. Needed pita bread and a friend told me to come here. Found this place to have lots of variety. I bought the pita bread and some olives but also picked up a jug of milk. The guy at the counter was friendly and greeted me right as I came in, then came right over to see if he can help me find what I'm looking for. You don't ever see that at a market like this. I was a regular customer at this market for many years. The other day I bought cheese to make a special dessert, but when I tasted it, it was so bitter, and had a foul taste. It was clear that is was bad. I called the market to let them know the situation, and they said no problem, to bring it back so they can send it to the company. Once I got there, first off they said that they don't carry this cheese, which was a lie. I went back to the refrigerator where i got it from, to show them. The next excuse was that the cheese was shredded, which I had informed them before hand. I told him to taste the cheese, but he said nothing was wrong with it. In the end they did not want to refund $8.99 for 20 oz of cheese. I told them to keep the cheese since it was "fine", and that he couldn't lose that much money. I will never come back to this market again. They don't understand what customer service is, and definitely lost a loyal customer. read more
