(And he did not ask me to write any reviews.) They had a "tasting" event on March 16, 2010 at the Indy West Conference Center, http://www.malonescatering.net/main/indy-west-conference-center/ They cater food at their own venues, and can cater food to your event at other venues of your choosing This venue, Indy West Conference Center, can hold over 500 people according to the fire marshall sign on the wall, and to me and the other customers that night, it looked like it easily could. Very large and clean men's room, with lots of "stations". Each toilet had its own cubicle with closing door, but there were no privacy dividers between the urinals. The chairs were nicely padded, and had springy backs. Very good quality, that you could sit on for hours. They were not like "conference room" chairs at all. They have rectangular tables and circular tables. Tonight's event was for prospective bride/groom customers to check out the venue and taste the menu, and if they booked a catered event, they got credit for the cost of the evening's buffet. But since I'm not getting married any time soon, I just paid outright for the buffet. And it was great. Really good quality multi-ingredient salad, and what seemed like home-made raspberry vinagrette dressing. I liked it so much I did not even try the white creamy salad dressing. Dinner rolls were good, not industrial-tasting stuff out of a bag. Veggies were good. New red potatoes, scallopped potatoes, corn, green beans, and a very light and well seasoned vegetable medley. Nothing tasted canned. Meat dishes were lemon chicken, chicken marsala, roast pork loin, fried chicken, and prime rib. The prime rib was excellent! My favorite was the lemon chicken. They didn't have the chocolate fountain (chocolate fondue sort of thign) there this evening, but I've seen it at previous events and it's something that was well appreciated by the guests whenever I've seen it. The two brides-to-be at my table were very complimentary of Malone's, and it sounded like they were going to use Malone's services.

Their food is good! I personally have had their fried chicken and their lemon-pepper grilled chicken. Both were juicy and the lemon-pepper seasoning/sauce was not overpowering, but added the perfect compliment to the chicken. Their green beans were fantastic, seasoned and not soggy, but still had flavor inside and out. The side dishes were good as well and no one ever had to wait for the buffet to be refilled or the drink fountain to be replenished. I have recommended them to several people but I think the best compliment is the largest employer in Indiana uses them every year without a doubt for their yearly barbecue. Bonus: They donate leftover food to the local homeless shelter (at least they did in 2003) so kudos to a company that does not waste!

It's on the last night of the conference week, and all the general managers loved it so much the first time (in 2014), they requested we do it again this year! Working with Jenifer was a dream: from my initial call to sending over quotes, to finalizing event-night details, she was very communicative and answered all of my (many) questions with succinct answers and a positive attitude. When she followed up after our event with the final paid invoice, she was very courteous and thanked me many times for my company's business. Walking into the room with all the tables set up was so cool--the equipment looked like it was delivered from Vegas! High quality, and looked new. The dealers themselves were fantastic as well--professional and polite, and great uniforms too! One thing that everyone in our group appreciates about the Craps King dealers is that they are patient and knowledgeable, and willing to explain the games. For an event where not everyone has been to a casino, this is a really great way to make people feel comfortable and excited about learning and playing and interacting! I want to show my gratitude and thankfulness to all professional workers, especially Alan and Robbie who I just met as within moments made me feel incredibly respected, appreciated and heard. The equipment tables were real and authentic, of those you see in the Casinos'. They roped off sections for the guests inviting them into a red-carpet event of fun and entertainment. Robbie and Alan took care of all the work in raffling tickets and passing out the prizes, as one of the prize we snuck in as a gag gift. Great sport to my friend who played along with Alans' gift of comical speaking skills engaging the crowd, and Robbie's help of hype in bantering in fun taunts and silliness. What partnership between the two. As I played music, almost too loud at times, we sang, people danced and even a "YEE HAW" was yelled at the prompting of Alan on the mic. The black jack table and roulette game worked best for my party, as some didn't even sit down for a minute to stop in the fun, with "fun money cards", prizes won throughout the night, comical taunts to the guests and husband, all was well received in good humor. Thank you again, to Alan and Robbie who made my small birthday party for my husband a great success and memory that will last forever. Your company brought my family and friends joy, laughter, fellowship with one another, dancing, singing, and a memory of love that you can't put a price on. I had already checked several locations online and this site was easy to navigate, showing special packages and availability. I booked online and confirmed the delivery by phone. This is a small business that takes pride in customer service. I believe the owner is a young teacher at the Avon Schools. He and his helper (daughter?) were efficient, pleasant and prompt and had it up in less than 20 minutes. $160 for a day rental was very fair, in fact, I should have kept it another day for an extra $15 (did I mention adults up to 300lbs can jump?). I couldn't be more happy that I decided to find something to keep the kids 'occupied' while I ran around picking up after everyone. He met with us twice before the wedding to discuss music, flow of the reception, and got to know us a little bit so he could understand our personalities. He completely catered to us and nailed everything. I really appreciate how he asked us to make a short playlist to understand some of our "must-plays" but didn't necessarily need us to compile music for the whole night. He took the 8-10 songs that we came up with, of course played them, but kept the party going with more and more songs that fit in perfectly. Not having to curate the entire night's music was definitely taking a load off of our backs and it was great that he was able to understand the genres we liked and kept it going. Cannot speak highly enough of Chris -- you absolutely must book him for your wedding or other event!
