Super good! I love there salsa one of the best carnitas places i know theres a lady in the front always super nice gets everything in your order perfected! She always ask me if i like my carnitas and shows me them before she packages it read more

This place is a perfect spot for CARNITA lovers. I ordered the super burrito which comes with your choice of meat, rice, sour cream, cheese, and avocado. I chose for my meat the carnitas. It was very filling and yummy. They are a good size to share if you can't eat the whole thing. The horchata was super sweet. So sweet that it over powered that classic horchata flavor. I had to keep adding water to dilute it. The service was polite and helpful. The place is not too big nor too small. The music is very loud so it doesn't provide room for talking. read more

Friendly services, fresh food. I will go back!!! Delicious Don't go to the one in Lodi it sucks. Stockton location way better. When services are so different it makes a difference. Even if same owner... huge difference in customer service and freshness of the food read more

During our recent road trip, we were craving tacos, so I used my Yelp! app to find a spot in the area. That's how we ended up here. My wife enjoyed two carnitas tacos, and I had the burrito. Both were tasty and satisfying--no complaints at all. I'd definitely recommend this place and would return in the future. read more

Carnitas El Rincon - Tacos Near Me - Stockton, California

Nice service, and the food was good. My only regret was not to order a larger portion. The restaurant was very clean inside and many items were on display. The only issue that I had was communicating my order. Even though it was slightly difficult to order, that doesn't mean the order couldn't be accomplished. The place is worth visiting, and there is a larger selection of available foods to choose from. I'll definitely be back. read more

Ok first of all let me say this was the first time coming here with my building trades colleagues!! They recommended this place before to me!! The place is small but comfortable spot to eat !! Service was ok just 2 people working !! I had a carnitas burrito which was pretty good!! I'm real picky when it comes to carnitas!! Next time I come I will get the carnitas meal to really get a taste of what they have!! I only did 3 stars this time but I'm sure it will go up after I try more of this place!! If you are in area try it out also!!! I will be back to update this soon!!! read more

I can't believe I never heard of this place before. A coworker of mine told me about it since it's near my job. They serve carnitas only hence the name. Ladies working here are super sweet and you can tell they put in a lot of work in effort into the food. I really liked how they give you every part of the pig you want when you want good carnitas. Meat was very flavorful but the real kicker is the salsa you put on top which really gives the food that oomf you need to pair with the tortillas. Beans and rice were solid as well and the combo was very reasonably priced. I will be coming back for lunch. Go check it out! read more

Food is delicious carnitas are very juicy the habanero salsa is bomb. Good place for lunch

Great food, everything tastes great & if you call ahead your order will be ready by the time they tell you.

Riquísimas las caritas. Las salsas muy buenas. Muy pero muy buen servicio al cliente. Muy amables todas

Beans, rice and carnitas are so good. I always come here. Beans are a little watery but the flavor is on point. I haven't tried anything else yet but I'm sure it's just as good. read more

The food is very good however, they are very cheap when it comes to giving salsa. The first time I went I ordered a burrito and was given 4 salsas without even asking . Now every time I am assisted by cashier Maribel M, she says they one give 1 salsa per burrito. This is the only reason I gave them 3 stars, otherwise I would have given them 5! read more

My favorite carnitas spot in town! Carnitas are very very delicious in my opinion the best in town. They have other dishes but I've never tried them. The restaurant is small and clean and has plenty of parking and a Starbucks next door! Yay win-win! I only do to go orders but the staff is friendly and helpful. It's located conveniently shortly upon taking the Waterloo exit on hwy 99. read more

Fabulous family owned fast casual restaurant with personable service. Homemade and fast turnaround so can skip nearby drive throughs. Carnitas El Rincon - Combo #3 Super Burrito Salsas Aguas Frescas Sodas - Tacos Near Me - Stockton, California

What an incredible surprise. Stopped to get a Starbucks, bleh, and changed our minds to get some Mexican food, after we saw the place next door, instead. I know, opposite end of the spectrum. But are we ever so glad we did! Hands down, the absolute BEST authentic Mexican food I've ever had, and I've been all over the country eating at many restaurants. You just HAVE TO try this place. You just have to. And don't be intimidated by their only serving carnitas - theirs is awesome! Full of flavor and not soggy. I had a carnitas quesadilla and side of refried beans. O..M..G..! Sooooo, soooo good! My husband had 3 carnitas tacos. Excellent! But be prepared, they are generous portions, so order less than you normally would elsewhere, 'cause it's a lot, or go with a healthy appetite. Another nice surprise. The staff was very friendly and we were served quickly. My reason for making this review is to share with you that if you want the best and authentic Mexican food, this is a must stop! Enjoy! read more

We had a great experience ordering catering for my son's birthday party. We were referred and went in to try the food first. Tucked away in a small shopping center. The woman gave us a free taco to sample with the salsa. We did order for 50 people (25lbs) and it came with the catering size rice & beans + 2 salsas (SO good). It was around $350. The quality is great! The customer service put it over the top. We will definitely order again! read more

I'm gonna give them 4 Stars bc they made me drive an hour out lol jk. This place is good, the comments where they say that the ppl aren't friendly. I think ppl nowadays are expecting ppl to kiss there ass and this place isn't willing to do that. I was there yesterday and I had the best customer service. My wife was giving a free sample of chicharrón. The only thing I do have an issue with was the hot sauce that I bought. The hot sauce was left out last night. I noticed that the lid was full of gas bc the lid almost popped off and there were bubbles almost as if it was fermenting. We're Mexican we leave stuff out for a day or two. I've bought this sauce two different times and two different restaurants of the same chain, and that happens ever time. Other then that I can't say anything negative about this place. read more

So disappointed in the service today! I always get the combo #1, it's 1 and 1/2 pounds of carnitas and beans and rice , usually great. But today I was given like a half pound of meat and no buche like I asked the young kid that was at the register. So disappointed!! Never going back!! read more

You know you're in for a treat when your abuelitos recommend a restaurant! The food was like grandmas cooking! Everything was authentic & delicious. The carnitas are the star of the show but I was pleasantly surprised that the rice & beans were on point! The salsa I tried was very spicy but worth the runny nose ;) I am THE MOST PICKY when it comes to Mexican food because I compare everything to my grandmas cooking & I'm glad I now have a carnitas spot that's the real deal! Give this place a try you will not be disappointed. read more

I have been looking for a shop that specializes in Mexican fried pork for a while now, and yes I found it! Located on waterloo off the 99 fwy in the Starbucks parking lot. The shop looks fairly new, nice and clean inside. My friend and I got the #3 combo for lunch. OMGEE! The portions are generous and I had lots of leftovers to take home. We got the mixed pork that came with the skin, ribs and all, the flavor and texture were out of this world. The hot salsa is a must! read more

This place is FIRE. Sooooooooo good! Found them here on Yelp, looking for a Cinco de Mayo meal and I'm so glad I did. Got a carnitas meal deal for $27 (plus an extra pound for that late night snack) and I couldn't be happier. The carnitas are tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of crunch here and there. The rice is delicious and the beans are so flavorful, reminded me of my Mom's back in the day. The salsa is super tasty with the right amount of heat. The storefront is open and very clean with very helpful and friendly staff. GO VISIT THIS PLACE. You will not be disappointed! Let's support our local businesses! read more

Had Carnitas from here for the first time ever and was not disappointed. Took them home and they were delicious. Meal number 2 was enough for three adults with some leftovers. The Cueritos are the best I have had in a while anywhere in Stockton. I'm not saying this lightly. The only thing I would have asked for if I didn't know it wasn't included in the meal would have been some salsa. Try this place. You will not regret it! read more

Been wanting some carnitas for a while and had seen this place while driving by a couple times. Decided to buy a couple lbs of carnitas to go. I opted for the buy 2lbs and get 1 free. Total was $23 and some change. It was pretty empty when I went to get some food but they did offer indoor and outdoor dining. Overall the carnitas were pretty good, not dry at all like some places have it. Only gripe I have is that they were a tad bit on the salty side but you usually pair carnitas with tortillas or rice and beans so it wasn't too bad but just eating them alone was a little too salty. I'd definitely go back for the carnitas and maybe try out some of the other stuff on the menu. If you're in the area and want some tender pork carnitas I'd give this place a shot. read more

This place is Awesome (Food) but don't bother placing orders through yelp. They charge a lot more. I don't know if it's the restaurant or yelp. I asked the employee why the prices were different and he said online is more expensive per items ordered. Place orders at the restaurant. Plus when I did place the order, they didn't have it made. Apparently they never received it. Food is good but technology issues and food not being done on time irritated me. Waited 30 minutes. read more

Best carnitas I've tried in Stockton and they have a variety of salsas to choose from!

This are the best carnitas in town recommended a little pricey , but they are sooo worth it

This new restaurant just opened a week ago but has had its coming soon sign up for a few months now at least! I was always looking forward to this place and had expectations of pork rind and tell you what they didn't disappoint! They seem to make their fried pork skin fresh in the morning and have it on display in their heated glass case next to the register. Name checks out but a little disappointed Ted they didn't have more pig and el pastor wasn't one of the meat options for burritos, only asada, pollo, and carnitas were options for the burrito meat. What did surprise me is their habanero sauce and gosh is it yummy. Now I'm a spicy eating guy that's been around my hot sauces from habanero ghost pepper Thai chili Carolina reaper and Trinidad scorpion concoctions. Most Mexican places usually offer the green or red sauce that never really did the trick for me to give a kick. El Rincón went a step above and offers habanero sauce and I knew I just had to try and it did not disappoint. It gave me the kick I love but at a satisfying level not to overpower or put my tongue at the mercy of gargling milk tea. Be warned it's still habanero so it is spicy, but for me it was a comfortable spice that is hard to find at most average places or taco trucks. They have your typical grab and go good as well as combos and catering so if you like what you eat you can order more for your super bowl party or something haha. Staff is nice and since it's just opened the place is pretty clean. Hopefully they can keep up the service and cleanliness. No dine in yet unfortunately but I think it's a good thing. Will definitely be back just because I love their habanero sauce! read more
