    My super burrito.

Super burrito?? nothing in it yet charged for super burrito and $5 tip. Done no more for me. I will go elsewhere, take my hard earned money and $5 tip and probably some discrimination. Done with this place. This is their super burrito

I was planning food for a BBQ and wanted good quality skirt steak so that I could make carne asada. This place came highly recommended from a coworker. I was also told not to worry and that plenty of the employees spoke english so I would have no issue ordering / purchasing. The store was easy to find, parking was plentiful and the store looked quite clean. I was helped immediately when I stepped up to the meat display. I told the employee how much I wanted but asked to confirm if the amount ordered, 5 pounds, was appropriate for the number of people I was serving. The employee wasn't sure and asked another butcher. He told me I would wind up with leftovers but it would be fine. Leftovers sound yummy so I had them package up 5#'s of skirt steak. They also offer their own pre pre-marinated carne asada for the same price. Next time I will remember the pre-marinated option and save myself some time. Next to the meat display were a multitude of spices. It was easy to grab everything I needed for my marinade while I waited for the meat to be packaged up. I also was able to grab a stack of corn tortillas (small size but a large stack) for a great price. I also picked up a large beer (Pacifico) to use in my marinade for a great price also. The checkout was easy and the cashier was friendly and efficient. They accepted my credit card which was great because I don't usually carry cash. I haven't grilled up the meat yet but it looks spectacular. I can't wait to taste it!

Just happened to be in the area and checked out Dos Amigos Dei inside the carniceria. Ordered the carne asada wet burrito and fried plantains. Both were great.

There are few things I enjoy more than discovering a new eatery that is hiding in plain sight. Though I knew Carniceria Dos Amigos is one of the shops at the northeast corner of Moana and Kietzke, I didn't notice until last week that they'd added a small restaurant next door. Nearly everything on the menu is made in-house, with tortillas, sauces, and marinated meats available for retail sale in the shop. Crispy tortilla chips and a truly delicious salsa started things off with what I consider a perfect amount of heat, balanced by plenty of fresh onion, tomato, and cilantro. My wife and I make pico de gallo at home, but this version included some form of black magic that made me swoon with every bite. Trust me, you'll want to buy a pint to take home. A rather unique serving of queso fundido con chorizo was shared by the table ($5.99). Instead of a melty cheese and sausage dip, a big pile of chorizo--surrounded by jalapeño halves--was piled atop melted oaxaca cheese with a little more cheese sprinkled on top. The flavor was fine, but a fork was required to pull it apart and place it on a chip. I took half of it home to make a breakfast burrito. We followed the chips with a plate of tacos ($2 ea), including carnitas (slow-cooked pork), lengua (beef tongue), al pastor (pork roasted in spices and pineapple), carne asada (marinated flank steak), chorizo (spicy sausage), and birria (goat stew). Each taco was loaded with meat, topped with veggies and sauce, along with a side of fiery hot sauce. All the meats were tender, moist, and well-seasoned, although caution is warranted with the goat; birria often includes a bone fragment or two. It's better to order the birria soup so you can spot the bony bits amongst the savory, spicy chunks of meat ($7.99). My wife's burrito de pollo was very flavorful, largely due to the better-than-average rice and refried beans with tender chicken, and a near-perfect blend of herbs and spices ($4.99). Similarly, a tostada de camarón was bursting with flavor, fresh-tasting shrimp mildly cured with lime juice and cilantro atop a very crispy corn tortilla ($3.99). My daughter enjoyed a plate of costilla en salsa verde, although--again--you have to watch out for bones in the pork chop chunks. The meat was served in green sauce with julienned onion and jalapeño ($8.99). The soft, crusty roll of a chorizo torta (Mexican sandwich) was stuffed with meat and veggies, served with plenty of square-cut fries; what I think of as "diner fries" ($5.99). The sandwich was too big to be finished in one sitting, but we all pitched-in on the fries. Similarly, a pair of chicken enchiladas totally covered in a ton of cheese was more than its enjoyer could finish. The flavor and texture of the marinated, grilled chicken was very good ($8.99) and completely different from that used in the burrito. Wanting to try something new I ordered filete al ángel, a very thin fish fillet--the size of a hubcap--fried in a crispy coating of seasoned cornmeal. Delicious on its own, the fish was topped with a generous serving of tender octopus and melted oaxaca cheese. Served with rice, beans, and veggie garnish, it was a huge amount of quality food for the price ($10.99). I can't wait to return for another taste.

The chicken fajita was good. I'd get that again and recommend it to others. The chicken was nicely marinated and cooked. The tortillas were fresh made. The goat taco was unusually greasy. So much grease it may actually be some type of sauce I've never encountered before. I let most of it drip onto my plate. I didn't like the taco so I didn't finish it. The jamaica had an odd flavor to it that I can't place. I liked that they didn't over sweeten it. The salsa with the chips and salsa was a little bland. Service was friendly and efficient.

The BEST LENGUA TACOS in Reno!!!!! This place never disappoints. The friendliest staff and amazing food. Pair it with a Modelo Michelada.

Taste was good but for $18 dollars with bones and pickles I would not order it again.

I'm not from Reno, but coming from a Hispanic background and coming here was a great decision. Good authentic Mexican food.

Really, I think there was a hidden agenda encouraging me to go, because he knew I'd buy something, which would mean another home cooked meal! I entered on the side of the building, and there were instructions to ring the bell for help. There was a room that had a small cold case. I already knew what I was going to get and it was in the case. Some beef bones and a packet of Korean ribs. I asked if they had bacon, but not at the time. The bacon has been requested a lot, and they purchase the pig from a third party, so she just said to call before coming down. The bones are big for my dogs, but I will see next time if they can cut them in half. I'll definitely be back when they have bacon.

I took them home and used my best receipt for burgers. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I was really going to hate them and be super disappointed. I like it and so did everyone else. I blame you for being to delicious. I will say parking is sparse but you don't have to worry about it to much. This place needs an update or a remodel of the building if you really want to by hyper critical but I don't really the damn meat is delicious. Keep killing those lovely delicious cows for me thanks! Well, I will definitely be back for more. Just thinking about those damn burgers make my mouth water. Damn it! I WANT BURGER NOW! Haha thanks for reading my review.

What I'm really more impressed with, is the young men running around serving the meat.
