-good place overall, bartenders are not that nice but that's on them, when i did go was to have fun with my friends, i cannot afford stress myself over little things on such an important and unique night. -two dancefloors, that's a plus, i like variety :) plus the place is big and has tables and chairs so you can rest after dancing a while. -the only bad thing is that is 18+ , seeing all these kids that are barely teenagers that can rather be sleeping at that time or be at a mall or watching a movie, the atmosphere will be better in an adult environment. read more

Very Spacious Club, Good Bartenders, loved 80's Night will go back again.

This place was really fun! You have Banda in the main room and a really small room in the one of the corners of this place. In the smaller room they played a variety of Spanish music, top 40's n oldies but goodies (I mean hip hop, reggae, club music, etc..) Some people dressed really casual and some slutty. I really liked this place.... Buttttt.... There were 2 things I didn't like. 1) they stole my boyfriends jacket from our chair (which had like 10 jackets on there), so hold on to your things really good n don't let them out of your right! 2) The music in the smaller room was getting played twice as if it was a playlist getting played over n over again. That is why I give this place 3 stars. read more

If you are in your 20's I suppose is a good place to go, that is if you like regional Mexican music and crazy young people music jajaja. Otherwise find a different place. It's clean, not to expensive. Have to pay for parking as well. Expensive drinks. read more

I came to this club for my birthday and i was really excited just because ive heard so many good things about this club. The music its self was really good both english and Spanish, the only thing that really bugged me was that the dance floors were really small and there was ALOT of drunk people so you couldnt really shake it off. I would only go back to this place if they paid for me if not i wouldnt go again read more

I don't really care for this place in general. I enjoy the music they play. They have one side that's more of a top 20, r&b and hip hop music. The other side will have a live band playing Spanish music. I love that you get the two options in one area. The thing that irritates me about this place is the cover price to get in. $20 is very high. IDK why they be acting like they're a hot spot in LA. It's not that great. And you can't pay with a debit or credit card to get in. Cash only. Which is pretty annoying and stupid considering that they accept card at the bar area. They have an ATM machine, but that thing has such high fees, that it's not even worth it. But anyways, the place gets packed and really stuffy and hot. People throw up on the dance floor and they don't do much to clean that stuff up. The smell lingers. It's really gross. Would I come here by choice? No. There's always someone who wants to go, and they get disappointed. read more

Night just started and its already horrible service. Please take I've been coming here for maybe 5 years. It's been okay but never this upset to make a review. So the night started with a text saying 2 x1. The girl at the door said she couldn't accept it since all of us needed to have the text. I didn't want to argue so paid it. After coming in we purchased a kamakazi, a jack and coke, red bull and vodka and an adios. These have been the worse drinks we have ever had, water down to the extreme. Asked kindly if they can fix it. Bartender simply said they couldn't if we wanted another shot we had to pay for it. Their customer service even for a club is so bad. I remember that once you told a bartender 'hey can you fix my drink' they will usually try to. If you are coming stick to beer and shoots, I hope they don't mess those up. Music is good but don't think I will be coming back. Friends are hating it. read more

Im very unhappy with this place. We had a reservation for my friends birthday we emailed them and it said we would recieve a email back. We never did so we continued to call and when they answered they said the lady at the front desk will handle that she has all the information. When we got there she said we dont have a reservation. No table nothing. They false advertise with there events. They Advertise getting in for free before 10 pm. I went with my girls before ten and they had us wait in line untill 10 and then made us pay. I figured we were waiting because it was packed but it defiantly was not. Not to mention its pouring rain outside girls are all dressed up in skirts and dresses and they still wanted us to wait out side for 40 mins to get in. Also there security guards are very rude. They were laughing and making jokes about everyone. Standing in the rain. A man slipped and fell and they laughed and made more jokes saying they wished they got that on snapchat. Also there was a young lady who just turned 18 and she was blind and her mom was bringing her out and the security gaurds questioned her mom by saying " do you know where your bringing your daughter " as if she isnt her parent for bringing her out. Just rude. Im very unhappy with that. Also front desk lady is rude, has an attitude that everyone didnt have there money ready and told us to not come up if were not ready when in reality they were there before 10 and should not have to pay at all. Also drinks are expensive and super small . i moved here from las vegas and for prices like that we definatly want to feel the drink sizes are worth it. The place itself inside was nice , music is awesome but there customer service and false advertisment is just wrong. read more

came here last friday , 18+...still had a great time if you catch my drift.. ; ) a lot a girls, about a 4:1 ratio (women to guys) ... i like those odds if your thinking about going to skyfox around the block , i should slap you upside the head... carnival is the best dance club in downtown pomona, in my opinion. only cons are: 12 pack $60 ... too expensive? stay home... strongly reccomend this place over Skyfox anyday.... read more

If you want to come and dance ur legs numb this is the place to go! Went here last nite for my sister's birthday and we danced all nite long to 4 bandas, yes 4! There are two rooms; the smaller is a Dj playing hip hop & dance the second larger room there were 4 bandas that took their turns burnin' up the dance floor. In between the sets there was a dj and he played all kinds of music. There really was something for everyone here. A few tips about this place; get there b4 10 or they will charge u 20 bux and if u want a table or somewhere to sit in the main room you will definitly have to fork out the dough and it is pretty pricey. I would suggest going in a group and everyone pitching in, the tables vary from about $120-300. My sister was lucky enough that as a birthday present a friend got us VIP so the stage was litteraly our armrest. Aside from one fight that broke out and our waiter was a little slow, the bandas were all very good and the singers were always very approchable and would fill any request that was asked. This was an absolute awesome time! read more

Came here on a Saturday night like 10, & it looked so sad and lonely. Midnight came around & it was packed! I love banda music so I had a great time. The dance floor could be a lil bigger though. I liked the hip-hop side that was next door. So we kept room hopping which was fun. The cover charge was $20 not too shabby since I'm a cheap ass.Met some really nice people. As for drinks, I think it's way too pricey for a bucket of beer. So come with a lot of ppl to split the tab. I like the fact that it closes at 3 cuz usually the club's where I'm from close at 1:30. I love to dance so that's always a plus. Now what I thought what was going to be a great end to a fun night, wasn't. A girl fight broke out..which wasn't necessary at all from what I witnessed, but girls can be dumb. I saw a security or bouncer or whatever u want to call them choke a guy and then saw him drag him down the stairs out of the club like an f-ing rag doll because apparently he was arguing with his gf or lady friend & they were told to leave & the couple didn't he just turned around, grabbed his gf by the hand and that's when the bouncer put his arm around his neck & had him in a choke hold. It was horrible. The guy wasn't even drunk or anything. His face was purple. He could have killed him. If that were me I would sue his ass for assault. A nice" Leave! Go home! Or get the f out would have been better than putting your hands on someone. That's no way to treat someone..Maybe the bouncer was showing off or something..who knows..hope he gets fired.. read more

I like carnaval , it has a good vibe . Only sucks that's they stop selling drinks at 1:30 am , the place is super crowded people bumping into you all the time . You have to necessarily buy a bottle in order for you to have a table . Besides that well it's okay I suppose . read more

I just want to let you ALL KNOW this Club takes advantage of its Customers! Getting bottles services Here is a Sham!! We spent 275$ on a bottle just to end up Not getting Refills on our Juices. Fair WARNING you will have to Pay to get a Refill which is Outrageous! With all the money we spent/their are racking in they have FILTHY Bathrooms!! with Doors they act like they are to Broke to FIX & Notice!! ALSO as soon as you walk into the joint their Floors are STICKY; their cleaning Crew is obviously No Good by the Evidence All Over the doors and Walls of their BathRoom!! NEVER COMING IN HERE AGAIN read more

This place sucked. Music was wack, they have two "dance floors" but really one of them is complete shit. They definitely need a remodel & upgrade on those old ass bar chairs they have. 20$ a person wasn't worth it. pretty good place to dance and have a good time, but too expensive also!

I've only been here twice and the two times that I was here they were one of the best moments and memories of my life. This dance club is great with two dance floors. One for English and the second for Spanish music. The guest bandas are popping, the girls are looking amazing out of this world and its a big place so you dont get as much crowded. try it out read more

I love this Club the waitresses are amazing the drinks are amazing. The bucanna bottles are a very good price..

Very bad customer service the waitress had a bad attitude and didn't explain the prices for the bottles and buckets....the security is very rude and pushy they treat everyone like garbage and honestly the cover charge is not worth it 20$ to get in this isn't some club in Hollywood it's not that great plus there drink prices are off the charts..to run a business you need to hire people with respect and dignity..instead you hire people who don't care about there paying customers read more

My friend and I arrived to this nightclub around 12p.m. The place was pack to the gills. Never had I seen so many people, evenly divided between the sexes. The main dance floor was densely pack whereas the other smaller area wasn't as packed but still pack. So, my friend and I chilled as we scouted the area for potential girls -- we were scouting the dance floor to see any single girls without their chaperone or boyfriends. I was already inebriated from another club we went to (Club Vive) which was fair overall but Club Carnaval surely put Club Vive to shame. We met a lot of willing and friendly people there. We finally were getting tired, we were chilling near the exit, about to exit the establishment and my friend sat down where there was a table and I followed suit. Alas, we sat down with a cool couple at a table who gave us their bucket of Corona beers and even put in a good word with some other girls across the table since they knew each other. I went up to the model-like girls, asked one out to dance, she agreed only if it was Banda music. Keep in mind: these ladies were getting hit on left and right by other guys. I said, "okay." They ask me to take their photo with their cameras. And then I took out the best looking one to dance. Got down with her. About 20mins later, the girl and I went back to the table and left the establishment. That was the highlight of the night. What's the lesson here? Come with a group of friends/family. Make friends with other groups of people. Most importantly, enjoy yourself. read more

This place really sucked !! If you want to have a good experience at a night club , STAY AWAY from this place . Dance floor is small , price is horrible for the less than mediocre service , crowd is mixed since they let kids in . Music sucked and live music was not up to par .. Overall a bad experience , ended up leaving at 11 , that tells you a lot !! You've been warned people . read more

ZERO STARS!! This place is an accident waiting to happen. We went inside not only was it hot as shit there was no fans, no a.c we tried opening a window but there were locked!! TOTAL fire hazard. Will report this issue to the better business bureau. Oh and of you look away the waitress will take your drink even if it's full no lie! I recorded that and plan on posting it on you tube she also took away drinks out of our hands because she said it was after 2 a.m. I understand not selling alcohol after 2 but if you already paid for it then you should be allowed to finish the god damn bottle. Go here if you like to sweat and waste $ read more

Bad experience with the barrtender and with the security. My friend got charged for re-entering by one the securities. I confronted the security and he got upset for no reason. He ended up getting physical for no reason and is now facing charges from my lawyer read more

small dancefloor, horrible service and the crowd reminds me of a high school flyer party! stay away lol

I would honestly give this place no stars if i could. Im posting on here so people dont waste their time coming here. Its over priced and the staff has horrible customer service. If your trying to have a good time and expect your moneys worth go elsewhere. I came here with my girlfriend not even 20mins of being here we got kicked out for no reason. We were both sober and it was so emberrasing. Since we first arrived the bouncers were being rude and because we didnt kiss their ass or flirt with them like the other girls waiting in line did. One of the bouncers took it upon himself to get us kicked out because he claims we had an attitude and at first we thought it was a joke but when we looked around there was two more body guards with him and were escorting us out. When we asked to speak to the manager he didnt help us out at all. We werent drunk had only been there for about 20mins sober. It was extremely emberrasing and humilating to get kicked it for no damm reason. Its crazy you would think they would want business but thats how you loose businness! Its ok my friend and i still had fun that night we went next door to Club Vive much better!! :) read more

I have been contemplating for the past days if to post this or not. But I felt the need to prevent anybody from visiting this place. For starters the restrooms are dirty and unsanitized. They have no soap in the restrooms and one of the stalls does not work. The waiters are rude, we asked a waiter for lemons and she said "you have lemons there" pointing to our table. The bartenders are rude as well I asked for more pineapple juice on my drink and he rolled his eyes. Needless to say their drinks are water down as well. But the thing that top this off the most, to be the worst night of my life, were the bouncers, let me mention I am a girl. And I got pushed and elbowed to my lip by one of the bouncers. He had seen I was a girl and did not care and shoved me again. Worst night of my life never have felt so disrespected. I regret not talking to the manager but the damage is done, never ever going back to this place. Saying it was the worst night of my life is an understatement, it was terrific and I continue to have nightmares about this night. Worst customer service ever. And if any of the management staff reads this and feels the need to contact me feel free to email me at sandoval.maricruz@yahoo.com read more

I'm highly disappointed with this place. I was there about 2 week ago. The worst shittiest service was given to me there by all the waitress staff. I was on vacation coming from the Bay Area. & my cousin had heard from one of her clients that it was a good place to go to. So we decided upon "Carnaval" to go out for a girls night out. Parking was $20 entrance was $20. We get there & directly head to the bar to buy a bucket of beer. So, we ask a waitress for a table. She disappears for a good 15 mins leaves us standing waiting to be seated & we're observing her moves. She's just walking around conversing with people. She finally comes back & says she only has tables for bottle service.(there were plenty of tables that were open). & walks she walks away. So we ask a different waitress and the same thing happens she takes long to get back to us & says in order to be seated we would have to purchase from her a minimum of two buckets. So we explained how we already bought one and would be purchasing another. So she says no. That's wouldn't work since we purchase it directly from her, just from the back bar.& walks away. We try talking to the bartender & he's trying to be helpful & says to just sit down it shouldn't be a problem. As soon as we do so, up comes a rude waitress giving attitude in her exact words she said "just so you guys know, if I get a party I'm kicking you guys off the table" & walks away. At that point we are all fed up with this shitty service. We sat down in two tables & all the waitresses were being rude. All we wanted to do is sit down since we had high heels on and we wanted to chill and drink and listen to music. My cousin ended up speaking to the manager. & he came to an agreement of just buying another bucket of beer and we would be OK to be seated. We went through all this unnecessary shit for nothing. they weren't even worth me purchasing anymore business from them. I was so in love with the LA nightlife that I thought was Wayy better then the bay nightlife. But I was wrong. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY IN THE BAY!. Waitresses made it seem like they needed to be tipped frequently in order to give you good costumer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you're tired from dancing and want to sit down for a bit this is not the place to go. If you're not purchasing a certain amount of beverages THEY'LL RATHER HAVE YOU SIT ON THE FLOOR BEFORE YOU SIT AT A TABLE. read more

Worse place I have ever been to! I was robbed and assaulted by one of the securities! Marshall is his name.. the manager is of no help as he backs up his boys especially in front of the cops. My belongings went missing and everyone I asked said the securities took it and when I confronted the manager in front of the cops they pretended they had no idea what I was talking about. This place will ROB you at the entrance with their nonsense expensive cover fee and inside the place. I was completely sober and I was not being loud or aggressive but when I began to ask around for my belongings the security Marshall pushed me to the floor and when I tried getting up he pushed me down again, I twisted my ankle and he pushed me the entire way down the stairs. It was the worse feeling ever! I'm a girl and I'm half his size so when he pushed me my feet flew up in the air and my dress went up, I landed on my back on some steps. It was so embarrassing and degrading. Go to this place if you want to be DISRESPECTED, ROBBED, and ASSAULTED. Staff was very UNPROFESSIONAL and they use EXCESSIVE USE OF FORCE AND ABUSE OF AUTHORITY. Stay away from this place it is guaranteed to be a terrible experience! I regret going so much! I should've listened to the reviews, don't make my same mistake. read more
