Carnation Auto Spa handles the basics well, but it's the little extras that set them apart from other express washes in the area. Like most spots, you pick your wash and the machine does the heavy lifting, but I really appreciated that they provide window cleaner and air freshener sprays right at the vacuum stations. It's a thoughtful touch that most competitors overlook. If you don't want to deal with water spots, you can pay a little extra to have a staff member hand-dry your vehicle. The facility is also set up well--there's a nice seating area by the vacuums which is great on a breezy day, and they even have a complimentary water cooler for customers. Since it's so close to home, the convenience can't be beat. Definitely my go-to local wash! read more

The wash in general- deluxe package was not good. Dryers just pushed water to middle of windshield and didn't work well. Paid then drove around but no one was there to man the car wash so sat hoping I was in correct spot. The bug removal was a joke and wasn't worth the money. Just overall very disappointed with this car wash. Will need to go elsewhere to get another wash. I only write reviews if it is that bad to have me take the time to do so. read more

Update: 5/2025 I've lowered the rating. Went back just for a regular car wash, vacuum, and wipe down. The absolute lowest price is $50! I felt that was way too much to pay for a drive-thru car wash, vacuum, and wipe down. Also, they've changed up the waiting area. It seemed smaller and still has uncomfortable chairs. I won't be going back. read more

Carnation Auto Spa - Here's the notice - Car Wash Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

This place is spending too much time getting memberships and not enough time servicing customers. The wait to get your car dried is way too long. Often times just one person drying and a line of cars. I'm no longer tipping when my car is almost dry by the time someone gets around to drying. read more

Carnation auto spa is a very family friendly car wash! Making my vehicle look as new as it was when I first purchased it!

As a new customer, the girl at the front was very helpful informing me of the wash options. The washer was a standard one and the lounge was really nice. They offer complimentary water, coffee and donuts! read more

Ok so cost. I paid for the $24 wash with hand dry. I do NOT recommend this at all. Either go top of the line with interior and exterior or just go with the cheapest wash. Service. Here is the problem. If you get the $24 hand dry you will go through the wash pull your car around to get hand dried and wait in a line for at least 15-20min. At this point all the water and soap residue has dried on the paint and they will just do a half-ass job of drying because there are still probably 3-4 cars behind you. You will get home and see all the spots and stuff that you now have to take care of yourself. They have bays to hand dry and I definitely recommend that you just get the cheapest wash and hand dry yourself cause they will NOT do a good job. Mediocre for the price I paid but if I got the cheapest wash I can see it being somewhat better. Only because there are bays to dry the car yourself. If it's a busy day and there are no bays you might as well find another place cause you will not be satisfied. I am hoping if you paid more money then the service gets better but I'm not chancing that at this location. read more

Esmeralda did a great job with the mini detail and I was happy to tip! Love the convenience of tipping online. I scanned her card so the tip went directly to her. I appreciate the clean restrooms in the indoor waiting area and cold water bottles on a hot day however the waiting room is sensory overload! The smell of gasoline was so strong, it made it difficult to breathe! The chairs are not comfortable and we all awkwardly sit around one another. The TV is SOOOO loud! NASCAR racing blaring along with a woman talking loudly on her phone, car wash making noises behind us, etc. It is AWFUL like sitting in a dental chair to get work done however having a clean car and being able to get out of the waiting room is WONDERFUL!! Sitting outside may be better however it was too hot! Also appreciate the nice employees! read more

I paid $25 for a "Super Shine" exterior car wash today, which included hand towel drying . This is where they should catch the areas that didn't get cleaned while in the tunnel. Two gentlemen gave my car a once over and wanted to send me on my way. I had to ask them to clean several areas that had been missed by the tunnel brushes and by their towels. I also had to ask them to clean several areas of bug guts from my front bumper. I finally gave up on the both of them and finished wiping down my truck by myself which included both running board which at this point hadn't even been touched. All of this was taking place while the two watched from the curb. The old owners really knew how to wash a car. This new company just doesn't care. Save your money and go somewhere else where the staff has been properly trained. The other Carnation location on Frankford Rd and Old Denton is not much better. read more

Arrived at 8:05AM to get my car washed. Waited at the payment stand outside for 5 minutes. An employee walked by and waved which I assumed meant they would be with me shortly. Another 5 minutes and still no one to collect the money. Two cars had been in front of me and went through the wash (took awhile before someone ran them through. Not sure how they paid and got washed). Since there were several cars behind me, I pulled forward figuring I would go through the wash then go inside and pay. Once you are in line, it's difficult to get OUT of line. As I pulled up to where they manually clean the worst of the dirt, I was told I would have to pay at the ticket stand (the one I had been at for 10 minutes with no one collecting the money) in order to get the car washed. I asked the car behind me to back up and I left. When you have customers waiting for 10 minutes for someone to collect the money and no one shows up, you have a SERIOUS PROBLEM! EDIT: The manager called me later in the day and apologized, explained why the situation had occurred and offered me compensation. Everyone has a bad day, but when a company is willing to correct their error in a timely manner, then you have to respect the business. read more

I have been at Carnation auto spa customer for a while now. One of the reasons this place is great is because of their employees. I especially want to give a shout out to Maria. She wears several hats there and always has a smile on her face whether she's interacting with customers at the register or helping finish off their cars , she's always there to give you a smile and make your day better. All the employees there seem to be happy in their work and treat the customers well. Staff at Carnation auto spa. Give them a try you'll be happy you did. read more

I just took my daughter's car in for the $75 wash/detail. I have NEVER seen such a filthy interior before. I felt embarrassed to be bringing it to them. But it was a birthday gift for my daughter and it was EXTREMELY necessary. The detailers had a tough job to do and they did it beautifully. It was worth every penny. Now if only my daughter could keep it clean . Thank you Carnation Auto Spa (Hebron in Carrollton). read more

Today, I paid $55 or for a car wash and highly disappointed with the level of cleanliness inside & out of my car. $40.....that's the number you need to know. A 30% increase in price from just a week ago. Outrageous! How can Carnation justify this for a basic wash? I pop in here when I'm in need of an emergency oil change- super pricey. $72 for a Honda CR-V .Got my oil changed and a free $10 car wash, maybe I really paid for it? Hmm (high prices) oil change was done in 15 minutes, LOVE! Headed over to the car wash and met with a sweet young man that was so patient and so sweet to explain each detail package- he even helped me when I was digging for change to tip the staff that details and vacuums the cars. Very nice young man. I wanted about 20-30 minutes for my car to be detailed- I got the $20 package but with your oil change coupon and yelp discount it was only $7. Here's the 3 star part- They came in to tell my vehicle was ready, gave the older gentle a tip (bring cash) and then went to my car- the console, dusty, screen dusty with my finger prints, sticky on putter console- dusty- so basically it wasn't wiped down properly. He did it again with a couple of sprays but I wasn't very pleased. This is a great spot and they usually do a good job, fail for me today. Maybe next time- I attached some pics- maybe they will help. I know they will clean it the way you liked but I asked him twice to clean something over and I felt a little diva-ish. My fault. read more

Horrible customer service they lie you to get your money that it's only going to take 30 minutes took an hour and they give you attitude on top of that. I had to help clean my vehicle because it was taking way too long. They're not honest this place deserves one star I've been coming there for months and after today I see how they treat their customers. Terrible customer service all have attitudes don't try to make the problem better tries to make it worse and on top of that, they don't even wipe your car down read more

65% PRICE INCREASES on all services, wow!!! I've been a loyal Auto Spa Customer, now Carnation Auto Spa under new ownership for over 2 years. Talk about STICKER SHOCK! They do good work and by all means worth a higher price point but goodness this isn't Beverly Hills, Southlake or Manhattan. This car wash is irresponsible. They damaged the paint on my brand new truck and told me there is no way the damage was done by them. They used a 3400 psi washer within 4-6 inches of my truck door. Management is horrible. read more

I have been coming here for years. My cars are always cleaned beautifully and thoroughly, and for competitive prices! For $30 everything gets cleaned. Obviously, if your car is pretty beat up, then you might want to pay more for more detailing. But, the $30 interior/exterior service gets everything spotless for me every time. The prices have gone up recently, but considering that we're experiencing economic inflation, I'm not surprised. The prices here are still fair, and this place does a far better cleaning than any other car wash in the area. I have seriously paid double the price elsewhere and ended up unsatisfied. However, I am always satisfied with Carnation Auto Spa's work. I recommend this place to my friends/family all the time! read more

I wanted to start washing my car more frequently and this place offers very affordable monthly plans that haven't seen anywhere. The overall service is usually linked to what you pay and the service I received here was not the best. From communication, walking new customers thru the process, to quality of cleans. Ultimately it's still a very good value monthly plan for the price read more

I do not recommend to anyone! Since becoming Carnation, the courteous service from the blue shirts is non-existant!

I usually go here once a year to get my truck inspected and a free car wash. This year I have been crazy busy and haven't had time to keep up with cleaning my poor truck. I decided to splurge when I went in for my free car wash and have them clean it. I've only let a a car wash clean my truck a few times ever, and each time I've been disappointed so I was hesitant. They made me a believer! It was fabulous! I feel so great driving in a clean vehicle again. Thank you guys! read more

The first car wash was great, so I signed up for the unlimited monthly washes. Since then the machines have either been down or the cleaning is just horrible. I called to cancel the unlimited washes and are still having the company try and take money out of my account. PHIL HAS GREATTTTT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! He's the sweetest and he fit me in even though the shop was closing. He was quick and very informative (I didn't know WHAT type of oil change was needed for my new car). New ownership. Price went up from $20 to $30 for inside/out wash. Today I'm here at 4:15pm and they tell me they can't 'start' my car through the wash for 20 min. At 4:40pm (20 min before they close, they start the wash). Not a single car is out front being dried or vacuumed. Obviously a slow tour roll so we can close at 5pm. Never again read more

Been here for 5 years but with the new ownership, the services based on the price are unreasonable and worse. I chose the 45 for super wash interior but the service done looks like 20 bucks service under previous owner. I need to seek the other carwash place. Very disappointed. read more

I give kudos to the few employees who do the car cleaning. I don't to the young lady who takes payment or to the new management. If you're going to have a car cleaning place in a busy place like Carrollton, you'll need to actually take care of customers on the front end and have to hire more people to work. Moreover, to raise the prices to clean cup holders is ridiculous. I'll not be back because you don't seem to care for the bottom line: the customers. read more

Used to be the place I wash my car all the time. Last two times. Not so good. Paid for the Ultimate car wash. Now that I look at my Tahoe in the garage. They did nothing. My fault for not looking close. But I never had to check it before. Too bad. I don't think I'm going back. read more

I had purchased the bright wash with the first attendant. When I got to the start of the wash, the attendant who preps your car by washing it was washing the car in front of mine or so I thought. It seemed to be the owner of the truck. Maybe it was another employee but two people were there one in red and one in blue. The man in the blue was power washing his car with a separate tool that was on the side and he was so thorough. We waited 5 minutes for this guy to power wash it, which is totally fine. I'm thinking the service here is great. Then the man in the blue gets into the truck and drives into the car washing station. The man the in red is the only one there now and he mops the front of my car 3 times. I just came back from a road trip so my car was dirty. He doesn't pay any attention to the rear end of my car. My car goes right through and there's no indication of wax being applied. I'm finished with the car washing station so I go out toward the left because I can hand dry my car with the bright wash. The back of my car was disgusting. I had to try to use the towels and the glass cleaner for my rear window. I thought about getting back in line but there was quite a queue and I was in a rush. I would never recommend anyone to this location. What a waste of time and money. Communication sucks. You can't get a hold of anyone unless it's the very first attendant. I'd recommend a self car wash if you were planning to go here. It's pretty much all self wash anyways with the lack of attention to detail from staff. read more

I used to be a loyal customer when their basic inside vacuum/wipe down and exterior was $19. I pulled in there today to discover the new ownership had increased that service package to $30!!! I work near there and they charge $20 for basic inside/outside service. Good luck Carnation, but you're way over priced. read more

Rude personal, no one out to dry off the car when you paid for it. No manager on duty.

DO NOT GO HERE! THEIR MACHINES WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY. THEY ALSO HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE AND WATCH FOR CHIPPED PAINT I've been to this car wash several times over the last 2 months and had a very nice experience. Today was definitely an exception. After they finished my car I proceeded to drive back to work, less then 3 minutes away. It's was bright out my car was shiny, didn't think to fully inspect my car especially after previously receiving great service. When I leaving to head home in my car I noticed there was something on my window, thought maybe from a big or bird but I was driving and I couldn't really tell. Once I got home I went to clean the spot of the window to discover it was a chip in my windshield which definitely was present before. Upon further inspection I notice my entire car from the from bumper, grill, hood, windshield, top of car/sunroom and all The was down to the back bumper is covered in chips. One area of the paint appeared to have some small metal fragment within the chip. Being that I bough this car 2 months ago, I am 100 % positive that these chips were not present before. I'm incredibly meticulous about my car because it is new and I want it staying nice. It is washed weekly and never have these chips been present. I immediately find my receipt and contact the car wash and request to speak with a manager. After explaining what's going on and the taking my information, I am told they have to watch and review some video footage and will be contacting you. I am aware I called about 20 minutes before closing but this is pretty serious and I feel it should have been reviewed and I should have received a call immediately, closing or not. I plan on getting and estimate for repair and presenting it to them so they can do the right thing and I do hope I get a phone call tomorrow. If anyone else had their cars washed at this location around 2:58pm and had a similar issue, please contact the company immediately. I can't be the only one who's vehicle came out looking like this, it's bad. I have included a picture of the chip containing a metal fragment. With my car being silver and shiny it was unable to get any additional pictures that show the additional damage. Very disappointed at this point. I will update review once I hear back from them. Update: spoke to a manager in person today who denied everything and stated there was no way that could have happened at their facility. Anything that touched my vehicle could absolutely chip and scratch my windshield and paint. Of course the business owner is nowhere to be found. They haven't seen the last of me! I plan on getting and estimate and fighting this. It is ridiculous to deny something that is so obviously the fault of their machines. They could have handled it professionally but it seems they would rather do it the hard way. I plan to make sure all of carrollton is aware of the services they provide that they don't stand behind. I plan on contacting a local news channel along with pursuing small claims court over this. read more
