It started to sprinkle rain as we pulled up to park, but that clearly didn't stop people from picking strawberries as we saw a family walk away with baskets and baskets of strawberries. The girl at the U Pick Stand was the sweetest walking us through the different types of baskets to choose from, the cost, and the process before we were set free to pick our berries! There were SO many strawberry fields and so many good juicy strawberries to choose from! My toddler, my husband, and I had a blast even in the rain! My only regret was not picking more because when I finally ate one - it was quite frankly one of the best strawberries I've ever had. On our way back to the car, we noticed the blueberry farm. They looked like they were almost ready for blueberry u-pick season and sure enough, a week later they were open! I wanted to see what they had in their little market, so we pulled up front and I saw they had strawberry donuts for sale! I grabbed half a dozen and both my husband and I devoured one as soon as I got back in the car. The next few days, I air fried them to reheat them and they were EVEN BETTER. So fluffy, airy, and full of strawberries! We can't wait to come back in the future.

Grange just opened the last week of June for sweet cherry u-pick. I went at 9 am on a Friday when they opened and picked almost 4 pounds in 30 minutes. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They'll give you however many buckets you want (each bucket holds about 5 pounds) and direct you to the picking area. I had fun trying each of the three varieties they had available: cavalier, black pearl, and white gold. They post on social media when each variety is ready to pick. Sour cherries usually come a bit later in July, but I prefer having lots of sweet cherries to eat. As of June 2025, U-pick cherries are $2.90 per pound. You can also buy pre-picked cherries, as well as other items at their farm stand. They take cash and credit cards. The parking area is a bit small, but I've always just gotten there early so I'm not sure if they have an overflow parking area anywhere. I'm looking forward to hopefully coming for blueberry season next!

This was our first time here - but it will NOT be our last. I loved everything from the moment we set foot on the property. It is genuinely rustic, not artificially so. Everyone we encountered that works here was friendly and seemed to like their jobs! We didn't know before we got here but it is Blueberry Festival this weekend and there were blueberry themed drinks and food. They had free samples of blueberry soda, blueberry lemonade, blueberry jam and blueberry buckle and fresh blueberries! We tied all of it and it was all delicious! The lemonade was one of my favorites. We wandered the store for a bit and I think I'll end up taking one of everything I saw. I think I said "oh! I want that!" to AT LEAST 15 things. We had the 2 blueberry special drinks - blueberry lemonade mimosa and the blueberry frosé, we really enjoyed both. To eat we shared the BTB - which was another blueberry special. Brie, turkey and fresh blueberries on sourdough. I really liked it! I wish the blueberries had either been jam or some other sort of spread/compote instead of the whole blueberries. They kept rolling out of the sandwich haha. But the flavor combination was wonderful. The turkey and the sourdough were both grilled, which I made me real happy. Oh! The sandwich came with kettle chips that were the best kettle chips I've ever had - Which reminds me I was going to grab a bag to go and I totally forgot! We also had the Farmer's Daughter pizza which was awesome. Crispy crust on the bottom, but fluffy and light on top. Just the right amount of sauce and the toppings were great. We had the Oreo shake as well, also tasty! It melted quick! It was a pretty toasty day without much breeze. We ordered some donuts and a cinnamon roll to go, I'll have to review those later when we eat them - I'm too full right now! They have a pickle fest coming up next weekend and I want to go back! There were all sorts of options for people of any age and palate. I didn't end up picking any fruit but we did get to visit the animals and walk around. I had no idea that they had a variety of animals like cows, goats, and more. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly and there was a lot of available parking. I definitely think this is a fun place to bring a family or go on a date.

They've converted another smaller building next to it as a storefront and it's chock full of blueberry based goodies like jams, jellies, baked goods, dips, mustards, beverages, etc. Way more to choose from! They also sell ice cream and added a play structure to help entertain the kiddos that get a little bored of picking (smart). The day of our visit it was around 100 degrees and humid so I was not up for picking myself. Instead I arrived ready to buy a box of pre-picked fruit in bulk like I had in the past. I walked into the cute new storefront, scanned the shelves, and panicked. There were no boxed berries to be seen! Was this no longer a thing?? U-pick only?? Why God why!? No need to panic, the really lovely woman at the counter explained to me. They just ran out because nobody wanted to pick in the heat (fair) and they had another load of blewbs (just processed and boxed) enroute and arriving at any moment, she just wasn't sure when exactly. Our time in town was limited so we decided we'd come back instead of waiting. She assured me there would be plenty available. And she was right! A couple of hours later we came back to find the coolers absolutely stocked full of 5lb boxes. I was fielding requests from the family back home to bring them some so in the end I bought 20 pounds worth. I also added a blueberry lemon coffee cake for good measure. Great visit! Wonderful changes! Lovely personnelle! And most importantly, the blueberries are still amazing. Next time I just hope it's cooler so I can get an ice cream cone that wasn't going to liquify the moment I stepped outside.

I've been to larger commercial U-pick spots where they micromanage you and I don't like it at all. Here, you can wander around many rows of berries and pick what you like, and they offer several varieties of blueberries, which ripen at slightly differ times, and you can discern the flavor differences! It's not very busy when I went, I guess because they don't spend money on advertising, and so the savings get passed onto you. It also means there's not a lot of competition for blueberries and you're out of each other's hair. It's slightly unkempt at some areas, but I don't mind. They also had wild blackberries growing among the blueberry bushes. I saw a wild turkey hen and chicks too. Fun place!
