They explain what they are going to do before each step they take and they make you comfortable with the process. Dr Kean is truly exceptional. We have been to his office for several years and the quality of the service he and his staff provide has always been excellent.

Although, I wish the procedure would've been explained a bit more to calm our nerves, especially after watching the consent video, which made us even more nervous than we felt about the surgery initially. I would also like to note that my husband ended up getting an infection in one of the extraction sites, which is not entirely the fault of the clinic; however, there was no indication regarding the length of time that the syringe should be used for on the discharge paperwork. When we went back to the clinic, my husband had to get pus and food suctioned out because we assumed that we didn't need to use the syringe anymore after finishing the medication. In addition, I wish they could have used some kind of numbing agent so he wouldn't have to experience so much discomfort during the suctioning. During the suctioning visit, it was clarified that my husband should be using the syringe for 2-3 months after the surgery, as it takes months for the extraction sites to fully heal.

I do not typically leave reviews, whether positive or negative, and I took some time before writing…read morethis because I wanted to ensure my emotions did not unfairly influence my comments. However, after reflecting on my experience, I feel it is important to share it so that others are aware of the level of service I received. In January, I had a consultation for a dental implant procedure and scheduled the surgery for the following week. The procedure itself went well. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for April 28 at 10:00 a.m. I arrived on time for my appointment, but after checking in, I noticed that several patients had been called back ahead of me. At least three patients were already waiting when I arrived, and four additional patients who arrived after me were also seen and completed their visits before I was called back. By approximately 11:30 a.m., after waiting an hour and a half, I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be. She stated she would check and later informed me it would be another 15-20 minutes because they were preparing the room. I was finally called back around 11:45-11:50 a.m. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the lengthy delay. After X-rays were taken, I was placed in the exam room where Dr. Nizam entered. Again, there was no greeting or apology regarding the extended wait time. During the procedure to expose the implant post, I was told I would feel "a little stick," but the procedure was unexpectedly painful and brought tears to my eyes. The procedure lasted approximately 10-15 minutes. Once it was completed, the doctor exited the room without any additional communication or reassurance. I left the office feeling extremely emotional and discouraged by the overall experience. I was so upset that I had to leave work and return home. This was, without question, the most distressing experience I have ever had in a dental office. When I later returned to my regular dentist, I expressed that I would not want to be referred back to this facility for any future procedures. Throughout this experience, I did not feel that my time, comfort, or care were valued. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

New to Montgomery and decided on ASA based on reviews. Having left my longtime Med Spa in a major…read morecity I was apprehensive to choose another one I wasn't familiar with. I found the required deposit prior to appointment and $100.00 charge if you are 10 minutes late very off putting and unusual but decided to proceed. My first appointment was for a Micro needling facial with Anna Claire who was great. Love her! I purchased a suggested product and joined the skin care club for an added $205.00 to save on future procedures and products. Total spent $560.00+. I scheduled a second appt within days for eyelash extensions. Looked forward to Anna Claire being my "go to" for a long time to come. Unfortunately I had a severe allergic reaction to the glue used for the extensions leaving my eyes extremely red, burning and constant tearing. So much so my hair was quite damp. The lashes had to be removed immediately. A patch test would have prevented this. Anna Claire apologized repeatedly, rinsed my eyes, added drops and says she'd "never seen a reaction this bad." It certainly wasn't her fault - or mine. A Nurse or PA did not come in to check my eyes. As I was taken to the checkout office, eyes burning and red, I was told by Emma (Admin) I would have to pay for the lashes and chemicals used to remove them. She told me "Anna Claire spent 3 hrs with you and missed her lunch." I was there for the 3 hours and missed my lunch too! Not to mention I now have very painful eyes. Emma is also going to charge me for eye drops but did give me two tiny samples when I asked if they had samples. Emma never asked if I'm ok and when I mentioned I hope I can see to drive home she said nothing. She wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I called later the same day to discuss the situation with Emma; my being charged for something I can't use / don't have and asked for rx eye cream to be called in for my eyes. I ask if the charge can instead be given to Anna Claire as a tip or put towards my next appointment. She told me the Office Manager would call me the next day to discuss the matter. The next day I did not receive a call. I wait until approx noon, no call. I'm trying to locate an eye doctor who can see me immediately. My eyes are nearly swollen shut. Red and burning. They feel as if they have sand in them. I was unable to sleep, have had a severe headache for more than 12 hours. I called the office and am told the Office Mgr is out sick. Emma didn't bother to call and inform me of this nor inquire about the condition of my eyes. I cancel my next appointment and my skin club membership. Within minutes I received a call from the PA. "This is Lily, I'm the PA, what can I do for you?" She immediately informs me the Office Manager is in the hospital. Her tone is hateful and rude. She continuously interrupts me and won't let me speak. At one point she egregiously says "did you hear what I just said?"!! Never asks about the condition of my eyes which are now much worse. I let her know the Pharmacy states it did not receive a prescription to which she replies "it's a $3.00 over the counter cream you can go pick up." After she continues to interrupt me I finally just hang up on her. I am astounded at how this woman has just spoken to me! Totally unprofessional! She has not only been very rude but acts as if I'm to blame for the allergic reaction and taking up her time. Very long story shortened.....I was eventually refunded the cost of lashes / chemicals. Not the skin care club $205.00 which I'll never use. I received a call later stating the Dr. Nazim at ASA could see me to check my eyes. He's not an eye Doctor, I declined. That would have been a great idea when it happened, not 24 hrs later. After being spoken to the way I was by the PA, I will NEVER step foot in their office again. Prescription eye drops and steroids were called in for me. Days later my eyes were still in a bad / painful condition. I happily take my business elsewhere. I don't spend money where I'm treated unprofessionally. Nobody should.

When I booked I made it clear that I wanted a cleaning since I was about to lose my dental insurance due to my husband's death last week. After an exam and at least a dozen X-rays later I was given a quote of over $3,000 worth of work they wanted to do. After expressing that I just wanted a cleaning I was told I could come back 2 hours later for a cleaning. In my 52 years I have never been examined by the dentist first then told to come back later for a cleaning. After checking out I was charged $200 for a "deep cleaning." I will not be back to Aspen dental. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I have never had to pay that much for a dental cleaning with insurance before. The only positive thing was that the hygienist was good. Too bad the rest of my visit wasn't.
