God Bless Dr. Sandlin, Dr. Foy, and the ENTIRE Dentistry at Park Place staff!…read more I found this dental office when I moved back to Montgomery due to where I live, and I am so glad that I did. My first visit was for a routine clean that was needed after years of dental phobia. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed and treated like family. The Dental Assistant that cleaned my teeth, Mrs. Kimberly, eased all my worries and got to know me, which made the experience that much better. I met Dr. Foy during my first visit when she went over x-rays and let me know that while I had some work to be done, they would work with me and do everything to make sure I would be comfortable. It was the first time I went to a dentist and did not feel shamed. I felt heard and understood. I did have to return for scheduled dental work, and again, when I arrived, I was welcomed as if I was family. Mrs. Ashley is a miracle worker, as she worked diligently and quickly to make sure I was able to be scheduled for this dental work around my crazy work schedule. My scheduled dental work was completed by Dr. Sandlin. She was assisted by Harleigh, who was such a calming presence. For someone like me that does not like needles, having a kind person like Harleigh assisting really made a huge difference. Before, throughout, and after the procedure, Dr. Sandlin made sure to always check on me, explained what she was doing, and made sure that I was main priority. Dr. Foy and Mrs. Kimberly also checked on me as well and I just thought that is what you call going above and beyond. This place is the best Dentistry office I have EVER been to and I would recommend everyone in the Montgomery and surrounding areas to choose as their dental office.

In regards to quality of care, there has been exponential decay all around. With someone with as much experience as these dentist have, there should have been no reason why they don't know how to sufficiently numb the area before drilling. Those types of traumatic experiences where you can feel the drill cause people to become scared and anxious of all dental treatment. Women of color are specifically at risk during procedures as academic studies have shown that they are often not believed or taken seriously in complaints of pain due to some deep rooted prejudices that they are invincible. Racial discrimination was some of the worst I've ever experienced and questions about treatment to foster understanding were discouraged with clipped responses and disrespectful facial expressions. The work itself was mediocre at best and that hasn't always been the case. Bennet Lumpkin and staff has completely lost sight of the goal. It's imperative that they retire, retrain, rehire, and set some standard of professional care as its obvious no one there really enjoys their job anymore and the patients are suffering greatly & leaving in packs due to the abrasive atmosphere.

I always had great quality treatment since Montgomery Dentistry took over after the passing of DDM…read moreHallman. But Now I am greatly disappointed! In midyear 2023 they no longer accepted my insurance provider Cigna Dental. The only change for me was that MGM Dentistry moved from an in network provider to an Out of Network provider. Out of Network providers with Cigna Dental are still paid and I have a ZERO DEDUCTIBLE for two annual routine dental visits. After several requests to this group to file my claim correctly they have done nothing and continue to invoice me $250 plus for a cleaning that clearly is a ZERO deductible to me. To further complicate and inconvenience me is that MD is in the middle of replacing a warranted crown that I paid in full. The crown procedure cracked my tooth root and two months later I am paying an Oral Surgeon to extract the tooth and prepare my jaw for an implant. However I remain in limbo since MD can't get my coverage straight. I never asked for this situation and I feel MD has dropped the ball and is unwilling to take the task to manage a transition in insurance coverage created by their action.

The lady on the phone was super helpful and friendly and made the appointment the next business day. When I got there I waited for just seven minutes. Erin is one of Dr. Harris's assistant. She is super friendly and energetic and smiles all the time. "She is very good with taking X-Rays". I spent all morning with them taking care of my crowns and two filling plus cleaning. One of the most important reason I go there is that Dr. Scott Harris is an up to date dentist and works with high end technologies including CEREC Crown. With the CEREC system, Dr. Harris can take a digital impression of the teeth, design your custom crown, select a shade that matches the surrounding teeth, and mill the crown right in the office. I am very pleased with the office services and will recommend with confidence. If you are from Alabama you can find both Auburn and Bama fans there.
